College is average with high fees, awesome campus, well-qualified teachers, below-average placement.

Placements: I am from the batch of 2020-2022. Unsatisfactory placements and mismanagement are observed throughout the placement process. The salary package offered is extremely poor, so I suggest not to expect any help from the internal committee. Overall, I won't recommend this college if you are serious about getting a good placement. The highest salary package offered is around 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is about 2 LPA.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is excellent with all facilities provided, and it is maintained as per said by the institution. Hostels and canteens are closed during the lockdown. Else both hostels and more than 8 canteen facilities are available throughout the college campus.

Faculty: It is tough enough to crack the trimester exam pattern. Faculty members are excellent and highly qualified, and they have teaching experience of more than 8-10 years. Students are given multiple assignments, and unit tests are conducted as well. Students are also asked to do 2-3 mini-projects each trimester.

The college provides good facilities and placements.

Placements: In the current year, approximately 50% of students got placed till now, but every year, all the students get placed from each course in K J Somaiya Institute of Management. Many good companies come to the campus, and the placements are very good compared to other colleges. One can expect the job role of project trainee or software developer.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. The campus is huge with great facilities. Due to the pandemic, the lectures were conducted online, but they were as good as offline classes. We are given access to an online library, where we can refer to as many books as we can.

Faculty: The college follows the trimester pattern, and in each trimester, we learn new technologies. The faculty members are very good, and they help the students to understand the concepts and also do help the students to build good projects. The curriculum is advanced and also meets the industry standards. For the enhancement of learning, the students have to do projects in each trimester, which adds to the resume as well.

Most of the factors of our college are quite good.

Placements: Our college has the best placement facility. As our college is well-reputed, it provides good opportunities for students to get placed in top companies. There are high chances to get placed, but it is purely based on student's performance in the selection process. Currently, about 25% of the batch got placed with the highest salary package of 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4.7 LPA. Top companies for MCA are Asian Paints, Nomura, General Mills, IV, etc.

Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi facility is available on the whole campus, but you need to register first on the college network. It also has a well-equipped computer lab, and PCs in the lab are also well-maintained. There is also a hostel for boys and girls. The food on the campus is good.

Faculty: Teaching skills of faculty members are quite good. The course covers the basics knowledge related to the industry, which makes students free to learn and explore more on their own. Exams are not that difficult to crack with a passing percentage of 50%, which can be done with some effort.

Other: I have chosen this course to increase the job opportunities available for me. The best part of the course is that it gives not only technical knowledge but also give business-related knowledge, which would be helpful in the industry. Extracurricular activities are adequately structured to teach us how to maintain the balance between circular and extracurricular activities.

It is a good college for MCA aspirants.

Overall excellent institute.

Placements: Placement for my senior batch was quite good. Almost all students got placed in the companies. The placement committee is set to take care of placements of the students. The highest package earned by senior batch was around 6.5 L. Also average and low package was not so satisfying.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure facilities are excellent in SIMSR. The classrooms are equipped with projectors, speakers etc. There is Wi-Fi facility available for all students. There's medical facility also available for students in need. Labs are equipped with high-speed computers and all required software are installed.

Faculty: As we are an autonomous institute, our course curriculum is quite well and has good standard and is well matched with industry requirements. The faculty members allotted for each subjects are well versed with that subject and has good experience in that domain.
