KSOU BCom Eligibility & Highlights 2024

Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) BCom is an Open & Distance Learning (ODL) programme extended in Engish medium. The duration of the programme is three years. The maximum duration to complete the BCom programme is five years. Admission to the programme is provided to candidates who meet any one of the following KSOU BCom eligibility criteria:

Candidates must have passed the Two-Year Pre-University Examination conducted by the Pre-University Board in Karnataka State, or any other examination considered equivalent thereto
Candidates from other states must have completed 12 years of schooling excluding nursery education
Candidates must have completed Pre-University Education in Vocational Courses with relevant subjects conducted by the Department of Vocational Education, Government of Karnataka

The university also allows direct admission/lateral entry to the second year of the programme. To be eligible for the lateral entry, applicants must have passed a Three-year Diploma in Commercial or Secretarial Practice, conducted by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka
