Kathir College of Engineering is really a good college for placement and infrastructure.

Placements: Kathir College of Engineering is more reputed for placements. This college conducts more campus interviews and has a placement training team that holds training classes every week. As a result, 90 percent of students are placed in good companies. Companies like Ashok Leyland, Hyundai, TVS, TCS, and Infosys visit this college for campus interviews.

Infrastructure: Kathir College of Engineering has extensive laboratory facilities, and the classrooms are maintained very cleanly. There are well-stocked library facilities available at this college. Wi-Fi and CCTV camera facilities are also provided. The sports ground facilities are good, and the hostel food is tasty, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available in the college hostel mess.

Faculty: This college offers a variety of courses, and many qualified and experienced staff members work here. They conduct model exams every week and take lectures using both online and offline resources. As a result, 95 percent of students achieve first-class marks in semester exams. They also arrange industry visit programs every year.

Other: Kathir College of Engineering has one of the best infrastructures among colleges, and its placement records are commendable. This is why I chose this college. The management also conducts various sports events every month, and participating students receive scholarships and certificates. The college's transportation facilities are also good.

Satisfied because of good placements but lab facility is poor.

Placements: 1.60 percentage of students placed. 2. The highest package 5 lacks per annum the lowest package 2 lacks per annum. 3. Mcwane is the top recruiting company it's a mnc company. The internship provided by psg foundaries. Velan valves. ELGI compressors. Keerthi pumps. Many small scale companies offered internship.

Infrastructure: In department lab facility is slightly poor some experiments didn't worked properly. Library have good collection of book especially technical books. Hostel rooms are better than other institution but sport and game facility are poor because they people don't have much amount of ground facilities.

Faculty: In mechanical department teaching is so good but application oriented teaching is not there in department. Many freshers are taken by the management but they give good education. Workshop conducted by the institution regularly but the connection from other colleges are poor. Our college every year give mega off campus drive.

Other: I want to become a professor. Now I am pursuing my PG in CEG Anna University Chennai. My wish for this course is that the teacher should motivate activity-based learning.

Infrastructure and staff members are good.

Placements: Almost 60% of the students got placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month, the average salary offered is Rs. 13,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. Top recruiting companies of our college are Fanuc, Makino, PSG Foundation, Surfine Tools and AGIIT. Top roles offered to the students are design engineer, quality controller and maintenance director. In our course, the highest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month, the lowest salary offered is Rs. 7,000 per month and the average salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. Almost 60% of the students go for an internship in reputed companies like Surfine Tools, PSG foundation and Perfect Engineers.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was awesome and good looking. Wi-Fi is available in classrooms, and the library is good. The hostel was good, and the rooms are very clean and huge. Food is good, but it is not poor. The canteen was great. All teams are available here for sports.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful to future motivate every day with their experience, and they are greatly knowledgeable. They have good teaching ability, and teaching quality was very good. The course curriculum is relevant. I am studying in the final year, and I am going to an internship at Stefon in the production department.

Other: I have chosen this course to prove myself in our department. The best thing about our course is it is very important in all works. The college should improve CAD class for our course. Events are conducted in our college every month.

Review of Kathir College of Engineering - KCE.

Placements: The college is very well concerned about placements, but its implementation is not too good. They must give a chance for everyone to attend the inter-college campus placements. They should provide good training for students to do well in personal interviews including the training for good communication skills.

Infrastructure: The campus surroundings are good. It is a very good place for teaching, and such faculty members are rare to see. Every function conducted in college was awesome. Lab facilities are very good. They provide bus facilities around Coimbatore and Tiruppur. The overall infrastructure of the college is nice.

Faculty: Faculty members of the college are well-qualified. The courses offered in engineering are mechanical, civil, EEE, ECE, and CSE. It is a good place for teaching. They also conduct some IAS academy sessions for everyone at free of cost. Everything is good in our college.

Other: Students are provided training in all the sports by the director of physical education.

Dissatisfied because of placements and facilities. The teaching methods need to be upgraded.

Placements: Placements in our college were not fair compared to other colleges. They provided placements, not for graduates' future, but only to promote the college. No reputed company visits our college to recruit students. Only some unknown companies visit our college. I would rate the placements 3.5 out of 100. The average salary offered was around Rs. 10,000 per month. There is no guarantee of providing job opportunities.

Infrastructure: The college doesn't provide open Wi-Fi facility. Classrooms were just okay. The college doesn't have a digital library. Only the books of foreign authors were available. They don't provide must needed books. There was no first-aid centre or medical centre. If you are interested in sports, then you should practise and grow on your own. There are no special coaches for sports. The computer lab was good. All labs were available, but they were just okay. The canteen was the worst. The hostel needed to upgrade. During our tenure, there was no TV in the hostel, and no sports facilities were provided. The food served was good but not worthy. I would rate the infrastructure of our college 5 out of 10.

Faculty: The 1st year of the course was superb. Faculty members were supportive and helpful. They were well-educated. From the second year, the graph goes down, and you have to study with your own interest. The college doesn't provide digital classrooms. They don't even provide practical sessions, and sometimes, theory classes were also not conducted. However, staff members were little supportive and friendly. During our tenure, the college has provided internships, but it was not up to the expectation.
