Good college for upcoming batches.

Placements: Placement has been dull for the past years, and I think they are making some efforts this year. So I recommend joining this college. No strict rules but some rules are maintained. There is a placement team to take care of placements. Hope their effort will turn out in a good way.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are given. But in an average condition some are in below average condition. Hostel food is neutral depending on the menu. Hostel warden is not much good with the students. There are more than 3 wardens for 300 students even if they can't handle them.

Faculty: There are a lot of faculty members who really work well, thanks to them. There are some staffs who don't work even for the salary they get. The coaching in the first year is amazing but later when students get into the department the coaching level is reduced. The staffs really don't care about students.

A total satisfaction of hostel and infrastructure and a good college with neat placements.

Placements: Hi, I am studying in B.Tech Artificial Intelligence and Data Science batch 2022 and I have a passed set of seniors where only a few have been placed in the companies but still haven't received any offer letter. It is said that the highest package is 8 LPA. The lowest is said to be 12k per month. The top recruiting companies are Dell, HP, etc., and about 78% of students got internships in predominant companies such as KGiS and other startup companies. The top roles offered in this course are Data Scientists and Software Engineers.

Infrastructure: There are many all the essential facilities such as Wi-Fi, labs, and poorly maintained classrooms are available but the entire hype goes down when it comes to the hostel as the hostel is poorly maintained food quality is rigorously low and there are many cases we can find insects like lizards, and other organisms like cockroaches and worms too!

Faculty: Poor teachers even the staff don't know about the subjects and don't possess any knowledge about the subjects. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes the students ready for industries. The pass percentage is about 60% sometimes maybe higher according to the Anna University question paper.

Review of my college KGISL Institute of Technology.

Placements: Nearly 70% of students who apply for placements are placed on campus in our college, but companies they get placed in are often outside their domain, like engineering students in call centers. The highest package is about 11-12 LPA, the lowest is around 3 LPA, and the average package is around 7 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite basic comprising but not wow. There are water supplies and restrooms on every floor, and we have a PT room and many labs. But we are short of power sockets in our classes, and we need a place to hang out in our college.

Faculty: Faculty members in our department are not up to the mark, as our course B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science just came into existence a few years back, so it takes time. But anyway, we are shortage of faculty, and personally, I am very fed up with this school-like treatment.
