No, candidates cannot join KIIT School of Computer Engineering without an entrance exam.  The university offers courses, such as BTech and M.Tech at the UG and PG level. Apart from the UG and PG courses, the university also offers doctorate-level courses. The university offers more than 10 courses in various streams such as Engineering, Science, Management, etc. The application process at KIIT School of Computer Engineering is conducted online.

• Demand Draft of INR 75,000/- which includes the counselling registration fees of INR 10,000 (Non-Refundable) in favor of KIIT, payable at Bhubaneswar. The balance fee as per the fee structure is to be paid on the day of reporting.

However, in terms of affordability, KIIT School of Engineering is a better option since the total tuition fee for KIIT School of Engineering is INR 379,000 - INR 1,475,000 and the total tuition fee for B.E. / B.Tech at Thapar University is INR 885,000 - INR 1,836,000. In the total fees that students generally end up paying the university or the college, various other components are also included, such as the exam fee, application fee, lab and other charges.
