Decent college, if the intake of students is less, I think it can excel more.
Placements: Looking at the fee structure, the ROI of our college is very low, in which only 40%-50% of the students get placed with an average of 8 LPA. The companies that give the most frequent placements will be Deloitte and TCS. The roles would be from software developers to managers.
Infrastructure: KIIT has unarguably the best infrastructure, I think, in terms of almost everything, such as classrooms. The library and hostels have above-average mess food as compared to other colleges. Looking at the high fee structure of hostel accommodation, the quality of rooms and the amount of facilities we get is justified.
Faculty: The majority of the faculty members are really experienced and have a very unique way of teaching. But talking about the course, I don't know why they teach us C language, and as for the sem exams, it is moderate, and if prepared well, they are easy. We get a lot of freedom to do research, and KIIT has helped a lot of industries across Bhubaneswar to grow more by providing them with technologies that would have cost them way more than they can imagine.
Other: I'm pursuing B.Tech in CSE (Data Science), which I thought would be helpful for me as I'm good at Maths and have a keen interest in coding. College fest is too good, but the crowd is immensely high, so we have competition for almost everything.

Decent if you don't have options.
Placements: I am at 1st year, and about the information I have received, placements are just like what an average private college has. Mass recruiters like TCL are common. The highest package was 53 LPA last year, and the average was 7 LPA. Never heard of tech giants like Google, Amazon, and Microsoft hiring here.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good, and the infrastructure is decent. The library is there. Every hostel has a separate reading room. Mess food is okayish, not so good, not too bad. KIMS is there for medical emergencies. Sports and games facilities seem to be decent. Wi-Fi is not good at all, 30-40 Mbps speed, and very frequent cuts.
Faculty: Some teachers are good, some are like themselves, struggling to understand the theory. They are qualified. I am in 1st semester of the CSE branch, and till now we haven't done anything related to CSE. Semester exams are not that difficult if you study well. No idea about the pass percentage.
Other: I have always had an interest in software, which is why I wanted to learn more about it and hence took this branch. I think having more CSE-related courses than these unrelated subjects should be more beneficial to students for 1st year. The campus is not in a close area, and hostel life is too restrictive. Hostel check-in time is 6 pm, which is bad. Students who got less than 1000 rank on KIITEEE got a scholarship of Rs. 10,000 per month.

I am not satisfied with my college, it's decent, but not worth it.
Placements: In my course last year, according to seniors, around 70% of students got placed. The highest package was 52 LPA. The average was around 5 LPA-6 LPA. Not sure about roles, but most are sales-based. Internship opportunities are like 20%-30%. Overall, very poor placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, with decent Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, and okay classrooms. The library is excellent, offering a great place for study and resources. Overall, very nice in these things. Mess foods are best, I mean, for non-vegetarian food, its hygiene is proper. The number of sports and games options is too many.
Faculty: Some teachers are good, some are not, it totally depends. The teachers are mostly qualified from IITs and NITs. The course is somewhat decent, not the best, it is average. I don't think it makes industry-ready. The semester exam is very easy. A minimum 6 CGPA is required to pass.
Other: I have no other options left, so I chose this university.

Good college, faculty, excellent infrastructure, bad ROI, average placements, and good campus life.
Placements: The ROI is not that great because the average package is around 9 LPA. For my course, Computer Science, it is 10 LPA while the fees are around 25-27 LPA. Around more than 70% of students get placed, but the LPA is low and only a few students get good packages like 1 crore. However, if you work hard, this college provides a good package.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is top-notch. Everything is built perfectly. The library is very huge, classrooms are fully AC with centralized AC, and labs are good too. Sports facilities are top of the line, and the hostel is also very good. The food is average and sometimes good.
Faculty: Teachers are super helpful, experienced, and kind-hearted. They are very knowledgeable, and teaching quality is also good. The course is relevant according to me, though I don’t know deeply as it is my first year. Semester exams are moderate to hard for midsems, and for endsems, they are mostly on the harder side. With regular study, you can get very good marks. Overall, exams are moderate to hard.
Other: I chose CSE because I have interest in it and it is the most relevant course for today’s time. It is the age of AI and computer science. Events are great, but I think they could be better. Campus life is good, but there is too much hookup culture, which is the worst part after a certain limit. Fests are good.

KIIT, the way to success.
Placements: Currently in 2nd year. According to the information, placements are a little poorer this year than last year. 50 to 60 per cent of students are placed in CSE. The total no of students in CSE is around 5000. Placements should be increased, as the course fee is very high.
Infrastructure: CSE campus is very beautiful and very well-maintained. All types of facilities, like a lift, AC, light, and a smart board, are available. The campus is full of trees that make a healthy environment. Hostels are also good, but the mess's food quality should be increased, especially the amount of chicken they offer.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are very helpful, and some of them are not so helpful. But overall, teachers are very good, qualified and well-informed. The curriculum is also relevant for industry purposes. The semester exams are a little bit on the tough side.

Till now, I am satisfied.
Placements: KIIT has one of the best placements in terms of private universities. As per the news from the sceneries, the highest package last year was of 53 LPA. Whereas the average package was around 8 to 10 LPA. Overall, almost 85% students got jobs across the university. The strong point of KIIT is that every year the number of companies increases. KIIT also support students in their startups who think more widely in life, like owning a company. However, the placement rate is not uniform across all branches (the majority is in CSE and electrical). Keep this in mind, too much competition, a huge crowd.
Infrastructure: KIIT infrastructure is huge in an open city, at least covered under specific boundaries, which is very much refreshing for everyday life, with a huge number of street-side food stalls and vendors. It has football, cricket, hockey, basketball, tennis, and many more ground sports, with a minimum of 2 to 4 in quantity uniformly distributed. The classrooms are equipped with multimedia aids, projectors, air conditioning and overall a smart classroom. The best part of the KIIT for me is the hostel, it's too much premium and we'll be maintained, but the mess food varies from hostel to hostel, on the majority of the days in a week, they serve tasty food.
Faculty: In the case of the faculty, it's well qualified for the case of a private university. Every student gets their personal mentor for guidance and other stuff, but this mentor and teacher are only helpful when you are in the 2nd year and above, they help you with research and higher studies. I am personally doing this, so I know this thing very well. Exam patterns are very common, like other colleges, one mid-term and one end-of-semester exam, every semester and continuous evaluation. In the case of curriculum, you have all the options possible, anything, dancing, singing, playing, anything, all available in KIIT.
Other: In KIIT, the crowd is too much. For example, only CSE branches consist of 3000 to 4000 students, and other branches have around 500 to 600 students. So students in CSE face a huge competition in the placement period. Other than this, a good thing is that I have not seen any case of ragging that was promoted by the KIIT. They protect and protest every case of ragging possible by them, from that side, students are quite safe.
