KPC CST Review-CST 2nd Year.

Placements: The college has an excellent placement cell. Headed by a veteran placement officer and his dedicated team, students are provided placements in different multinational companies both in West Bengal and outside the state. Periodic training is conducted on a regular basis for the benefit of the students of the CST department.

Infrastructure: Kingston Educational Institute has an excellent infrastructure. Amidst the lap of nature, CST has a dedicated computer lab having over 500 computers which are well connected by a dedicated leased line facility. Wi-Fi-enabled campus is something we can really boast of.

Faculty: The college provides excellent faculty members who provide dedicated support for the academic well-being of the students. Classes are conducted in proper time, both in online and offline mode for the future benefits of the students. The curriculum of CST is well revised and very much upto the standard.

Other: We all really feel at home at KEI.

Placements: The college has a modern placement cell. All the placement activities are conducted by a dedicated placement officer. It is the pillar and future of Kingston Polytechnic College. All the students get more than one offer in different multinational companies.

Infrastructure: The college has a state-of-the-art computer lab with dedicated internet facilities. All the computers are connected through LAN. The college has a separate boys and girls hostel. Students feel at ease while staying far away from home. Both AC and Non AC rooms are available.

Faculty: The college has dedicated faculty members who work round the clock for the future benefit of the students. The syllabus of Computer Science and technology is highly upgraded and as per the West Bengal State Council of Technical education norms. The exams are conducted semester wise and short tests are conducted on daily basis.

Other: The college provides different scholarship programs to the existing students of Kingston Polytechnic College.

Placements: The college has a dedicated and excellent placement cell that provides service around the year. It arranges programs for OJT and student training at the end of every semester. Many students have got placement in the final year of study. We all are very hopeful for good placements in year to come.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is well upto the mark. Spread over a sprawling campus, it has state-of-the-art infrastructure, which is maintained by a team of very competent personnel. The college has separate boys and girls hostel having all the necessary amenities. Living is very healthy and up to modern standards.

Faculty: Faculty members in CST department are very helpful and cooperative. Services are provided both during and beyond the college hours of study. They really work hard for the betterment and well-being of the students. The exams are conducted periodically as per council guidelines and the whole process is very systematic and organized.

Other: Fest and annual felicitation programs are conducted every year as a source of entertainment for all.

Our college provides good faculty members.

Placements: Every year around 80 to 90% of students get placed in various MNCs and the remaining pursue higher studies. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, the average salary package is 6 to 7 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 2.5 to 3 LPA. Around 100% of students get internships in different domains like web development, application development, ML, etc.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is quite good. Classrooms are spacious and ventilated properly. There are various advanced technology classrooms like smart boards. Different labs for different courses are huge. Wi-Fi facility is available throughout the campus. The library consists of many technical books and online websites to download soft copies of newly launched books. Living space is clean and the food is hygienic.

Placements: Many students get placed from our college. Many companies like TCS, IBM, Nissan, and other companies come here. The roles offered in our course are IoT expert, software developer etc. Everything is very good in our course.

Infrastructure: The college environment is very good. The rooms are fresh and clean, and the quality of food is very good. Drinking water facilities are good. The hostels are very good, neat and clean.

Faculty: The teachers in our college are very good and friendly. They clear our doubts. They all are very knowledgeable in their subjects, and their teaching quality is excellent. Our exams are not very tough but also not easy to pass, and you need to study hard to pass the exams.

Placements: Campusing is very nice. Different pharma companies, companies of food and drinking departments, and different IT companies with biological domains recruit students for good positions with good salaries. 70 to 80% of students get jobs.

Infrastructure: I am a CST (Computer Science and Technology) student. So, in my stream, we have 3 labs. If you take admission in this college, you will spend your time in labs from the second year. The course is good and informative. If someone wants to go for further studies in computer science, this course is good for them.

Faculty: The teachers are good and very informative. They are also very supportive. If you ask for help, they are willing to help you after classes. In the pandemic situation, they helped us a lot through video calls and helped us study. They take good care of their students.

Kingston Polytechnic College is a very good renowned college in Kolkata.

Placements: About 75% of the students from our course were able to get placed, and it is good for the students. The salary package offered in our course ranges between 1.5-1.7 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro and Cognizant visit our college for placements. About 78% of the students got an internship in the above-mentioned companies. Roles like digital, data analytic, cloud, IoT, artificial intelligence, etc., are offered to the students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities available in our department are very good. Wi-Fi connection is available. There are decent classrooms where all the rules and regulation are followed strictly in a proper manner. Students are disciplined in the classroom. The library of our department is very good, and we can get all the books available in it. The quality of the facilities and the quantity of the food served is quite good enough. A medical facility is also good here. Sports and games are also conducted in free time.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. It is good and helpful to learn and gain all sorts of knowledge from teachers. Their teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant, and it can be helpful in a further career in studies. In future, we will be able to learn more technical things. The course curriculum makes the students industry-ready.

Other: I have chosen this course because I have an interest in it. The best thing about our course is that we are able to make new technology and able to learn all the machine languages. I think the college should add python to our course, which will be better for further studies in future. Fest and events are organised by our faculty members. Scholarships are available here. Some extracurricular activities are also conducted here.
