I am dissatisfied because of placements. Our college provides good faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: In the civil course, very few students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Tech Mahindra and Amazon visit our campus for placements. Placements in the civil engineering course are below average. Our college needs to take some action on students placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Our college provides sufficient, and well-maintained facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classroom and library. Our college provides 2 playgrounds, one cricket ground and 1 football ground. The hostel building is of 10 floors, including all facilities.
Faculty: All staff members in our college are good. Teachers are qualified and friendly. Their teaching quality is good. Their make the students industry-ready. They are highly knowledgeable.

Our college is worth the money. I had a good experience at KJCOEMR.
Placements: The placement record of the civil engineering branch is very low. However, my friends said that some students successfully got placements, while some are still struggling. I have heard and viewed the placement statistics that the placement rate of MIT is quite high, and the companies which visit here for placements are top MNCs. Students passed out of the university with a good salary package.
Infrastructure: Our college has good labs and all the necessary equipment for the experimental purpose. The library has adequate book resources, and E-library is also available for smart learning. Canteens are hygienic, and there are 2 canteens. Our college always organises new events, cultural programs, meetups and competitions on the campus.
Faculty: Our college is very supportive of its students. I am currently pursuing the fourth year of bachelors in civil engineering. The fee for the course per year is reasonable. Still, overall, academics are good, and teachers are experienced. We have been taught the subjects which will surely be going to help us in future.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is amazing. But the distance is very much to reach the campus.

The college has an excellent academic environment to achieve high excellence in academics.
Placements: Our college gives a big opportunity through placements and many other activities. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Almost 100% of placements are provided for eligible students, which are achieved from the last three years. Many companies visit here for campus placements like Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, etc.
Infrastructure: The college provides well-acquired laboratories and the best classrooms with all current facilities which keep students interested in their studies. Hostels are quite large, with around 100 rooms. Each room accompanies 4 people with facilities such as hot water, 24 hours electricity, Wi-Fi, daily cleaning, etc.
Faculty: Engineering is a four-year course which provides various branches according to the interest and marks obtained in the entrance exam, and MHT CET decides the branch. Each year this course has two semesters practice exams which help in a professional career as it involves viva with external which is similar to interview.
Other: Our college has separate grounds for cricket, football, basketball and other games. Our college also supports students for all co-circular and extracurricular activities.

I am satisfied with the college, and the staff members are very helpful.
Placements: Our college provides placements for students, but it depends upon the students, how they perform in the drive. They help the students at their best to get placed in good companies with good salary packages for their life. They also take useful programs about our future or how to get a good job.
Infrastructure: All the facilities required are available in the college. The quality of the facilities is also very good. We have good, clean classrooms and labs. The food served in the canteen is very good and tasty. The service is fast in the canteen. There is a huge ground, and they also give importance to sports also.
Faculty: The teaching staff is understandable, qualified, and much helpful to us. All the teachers are good, so the ratio is also high. Lecture and practical timetable are strictly followed. The staff is always with us if anything for any problem.
Other: Events organised on the campus are the best.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of management of teaching staff and college.
Placements: In any college for civil engineering, the scope for placements is not good compared to other branches. There are few MNCs for the civil branch. The placements in local companies are available, but the packages are too low. There are no practices from placement point of view.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very good. The campus is very big, and it is about 110 acres. Overall, the infrastructure in labs is good. Grounds are big, and there are 3-4 playgrounds for cricket, volleyball, and football. The hostel is big. Classrooms are good. Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus.
Faculty: The teachers are very co-operative, well-qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. The teaching method is average. Management is poor. Practicals are not conducted according to the timetable, some instruments are available, and some are not, due to this, few practicals are not conducted.

The placements, faculty and infrastructure of the college are good.
Placements: For computer, ENTC and mechanical, it's one of the best placements offering college in Pune. Companies like Zensar, Amazon India, L&T, Tata Consultancy recruit their staff every year. Maximum salary offered was some 6 LPA approximately. Overall, 70% of the placements each year are done on average. COEP mentors this college, and it's making an impact, and it's visible to all. Moreover, the placements done are not that high paying, but it gives you a decent start to your career, as experience counts.
Infrastructure: The whole campus is of 111 acres. It's placed in nature's lap in the Bopdev Ghat. The campus has a huge parking facility with all security for your vehicles. Entry to the college is not permitted without identities. The college has 2 big buildings consisting of offices, departments, workshops, etc. There are about 3 photocopy centres are present in the campus. Canteens are very well. Labs for civil and mechanical are the best with almost all and the latest instruments.
Each department has computer labs having over 100 computers each.
Faculty: The faculty are very strict and sincere. The syllabus gets completed vigorously within time. Teaching skills of teachers are way best. When exams come on head, the faculty may trouble you for attendance, fees and uniform issues. Overall, the behaviour of the faculty, both teaching and non-teaching are good.
Other: Events and fests are conducted every year under any circumstances. Other festivals are also vigorously celebrated. The connectivity is best for all major providers as there's a special tower for the college campus. The campus crowd is decent and not that good as compared to rest of Pune, but you'll find a good crowd as we did. Sports, institute scholarships are conducted, and other scholarships are also provided time to time.

Overall, satisfied with the college.
Placements: In my batch, the placements were not much good, but it increased for junior batches. In my batch, almost 20% civil engineering students got placed for in-campus placements. My friends got placed to KJ Infra Ltd company as junior engineers. The highest paid package was 3.6 LPA, whereas the lowest was at 1.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The campus infrastructure is too good. It is spread over 108 acres of lush green campus including canteen and boys hostel facilities. Also, it has cricket, football and volleyball grounds. The hostel has a capacity of 800+ boys. The only drawback is that it is under construction. Also, the campus has four xerox outlets and 1 ATM centre. The best part of the campus is the canteen (I'm a foodie).
Faculty: The faculty here are good and friendly. They understand our problems and help us. They also conduct extra classes for GATE exam preparation which is good for students who are looking for post graduation or PSU jobs. Practicals are also conducted regularly.
Other: Kalyan Karandak is the most awaited event in the campus. DJ Chetas had a live performance in our college. It also has extra-curricular activities like sports (cricket, box cricket, football, volleyball, Kabaddi etc.) are held. Overall, there is a lot of fun during fests. Also, Ganesh Utsav and Shiv Jayanti are celebrated on the campus with much excitement.

Good infrastructure let down by poor management.
Placements: The college placement scenario has been poor throughout departments. In the year 2015, 3 students from civil were selected in Ambuja Cement with a package as low as 2 lacs per year. They were asked questions in context with concrete designing and cement proportions. Since then, no company has visited the college except Zensar, an IT based company. There are a few off-campus placements and frankly, the placement coordinator is very unprofessional and unskilled. There is no internship opportunity here. A few years ago, Persistent and L&T Infotech used to visit the campus but they too have stopped recruiting now. The college puts up a board with so many placement companies visiting but that is not true. So overall, the placement is poor and for civil, there is no placement.
Infrastructure: This is one of the key advantages of KJCOEMR. The infrastructure has been given emphasis over all other parameters. The classrooms are spacious and the benches comfortable. Enough light and fan provisions have been made and the class doesn't feel dull. The projectors have been dismantled by the seniors.
Laboratories are well equipped and are better than the majority of the college labs in Pune. Although few machines have stopped working due to improper maintenance.
The campus is Wi-Fi enabled but the speed isn't worth appreciating. Only at times, the speed touches its peak and the rest of the time, it disappoints. Don't expect anything else than a first-aid kit on the campus. 2 huge grounds, hot foot for football and basketball, sports have been encouraged on the campus. At times, a sports festival is held which is very competitive. The best part is the food. The canteen is a feast for the vegetarians but non-vegetarians shall be left disappointed. The canteen is big and is of 2 floors.
The hostel is big but is under construction. The rooms are good and the rates are slightly more than nearby hostels. Commuting from the campus is difficult and at nights, it is dangerous too.
Overall I had no issues with the infrastructure facility of the college.
Faculty: The faculty team is a let down in the college. Hardly anyone is pursuing PhD. Many of them are pursuing M.E and simultaneously teaching. The teachers are helpful but no innovations are encouraged here. You have to follow the same old submission schedule. The faculty members are not permanent and at times, it is frustrating. Sometimes, the teachers use guides too to teach and that is the worst part. The teachers make a powerpoint of the syllabus, lessons and just come out and read the stuff on it. The student to faculty ratio can be said to be good since a majority of the subjects have an alternative teacher.
The attendance is medium but strict. Overall said, the faculty team is just average.
Other: The college is located at a very beautiful location but is difficult to travel from the city. The college is in the process of building and could be successful if the management is good.
The college is just average overall and I suggest studying here only if you have no option left.
The college holds a festival every year and that too is a letdown.
The ISET fest and a few other national-level events are good.

I have got 109 marks in MHCET. Which colleges would be better for me to pursue civil engineering?
