Good infrastructure with more facilities, placements, and experienced, engaging faculty.

Placements: Placement was nice. Nearly 70% of the students were placed in my course. The highest package offered was 57 LPA, and the lowest was 2.5 LPA. Some vehicle manufacturers like BMW, Hero, TVS, Hyundai, etc., came for placements. Nearly 65–70% of students got internships at local and national-level manufacturing companies and some garages. Roles like automobile designer, engine worker, spare parts designer, etc., were offered.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college was absolutely nice. All facilities were available, i.e., Wi-Fi, labs, library, workplace, digital classrooms, big campus, canteen, everything was good. The quality of some facilities was average, such as small rooms and electricity problems. The hostel was a bit far from the college, but high-quality, hygienic food was available in the mess.

Faculty: Teachers were very experienced and highly qualified. Their teaching techniques were very impressive. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. The course curriculum was relevant and helped students become industry-ready. Practical demonstrations also helped a lot.

Other: Eventually, I don’t remember my batch number, but I chose this course because I have a great interest in vehicles. The best thing about this course is that it connects you with machines, and you learn the science behind them and much more. I wish I could change the timings of practical demonstrations because they are fewer. If we get more practical time, we could understand the parts more clearly. The fests and events are very frequent. Every month, some fest is conducted to refresh students’ minds. Everyone engages with new students and teachers, and it is a very fun time there.

A perfect blend of learning and opportunities.

Placements: Around 75% of the overall eligible batch gets placed. This figure is confirmed by multiple sources, including the NIRF 2023 to 24 report, which states that the placement percentage of 76%.The highest package is 51 LPA, the average package is 6.54 LPA, and the lowest package is 5.2 LPA. Top companies are Samsung, RedBus, PwC, KPIT, Tata Elxsi, and HCL Sonata. According to students, about 50% of students are in computer Science programme internships. Kls git has offered 45 companies. Top Roles offered in our college are Backed Developer, Data analyst/SDE System engineer, Software Developer, Project engineer, Programmer Analyst.

Infrastructure: Classroom and Wi-Fi spacious, ventilated classrooms with a projector and audiovisual aids. Each department has a well equipped lab, modern instruments, and updated software. For EC and ME labs, which are specialized in VLSI Embedded systems, Robotics, and CAD/CAM, are maintained. A central library with thousands of books, journals, e resources, and digital access. Separate hostels for boys and girls are located within the college campus. Rooms are generally clean and spacious. Mess and canteen serve vegetarian and non vegetarian food. Medical facilities 24/7. Sports and extracurricular activities place a strong emphasis on sports and extracurricular activities.

Faculty: Faculty and teaching quality. Most of the faculty members are postgraduate M.Tech with many holding Ph.D. degrees. Teachers are generally experienced and knowledgeable in their subject areas. The curriculum is designed as per Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) guidelines. Subjects are updated regularly to include the latest technologies and industry trends. Semester Exams and pass percentage- difficult exams, semester exams follow the VTU pattern. The level of difficulty is moderate, neither too easy nor too tough, if students attend classes regularly and prepare well.

Other: I am always interested in Mechanical Engineering. This course is right for me. The best thing about this course is that it has a balanced curriculum, both theoretical and practical. Curriculum update since the syllabus of VTU Guidelines sometimes has a bit heavy theoretical part. Events and fests like Aura cultural fest and Hackathon/tech events, Scholarships are available through government schemes for SC/ST/OBC. .

This campus is full of stress-free charging stations for electric vehicles.

Placements: More number of students were placed there last year. There were many companies that came for campus placement. The college provides the highest package of 12 lakhs per annum and the lowest package is 3 lakhs per annum. The package provided is good.

Infrastructure: Our college offers both boys’ and girls’ hostels but unfortunately they are currently messy. However our college provides free gym facilities and the quality of the hostel is good. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the campus, which can be accessed through Sophos. Overall, it’s a fantastic college.

Faculty: There is a mandatory attendance requirement of 75%. There are no difficulties in taking exams, as they are often conducted for industrial visits. The teachers here are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. It’s a good college that provides excellent placement opportunities.

Other: I was interested in the course and was more passionate about it, so I joined the college and the Royal Mechanical Department.

Never ending memories are made here.

Placements: There is a 100 percent place in my college and the highest package was Palo Alto 48 Lacs. And the lowest is 3.5 lacs, and the average is 5 lacs. The top recruiting companies are Mercedes, Daimler, Palo Alto, and Samsung Semiconductors. And all final-year students got internships in various industries.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really well and there is a Wi-Fi facility in both the college and hostel, and classrooms are clean every time. The hostel mess provides the best food, which is nutritious and we have a play ground that helps everyone play games at once.

Faculty: Teachers are very experienced and have high wisdom and quality of teaching. I would rate them 9 out of 10 and our college is autonomous, the curriculum is relevant and it gives students practical knowledge too. The difficulty level of exams is not that hard and the pass percentage is about 80 percent.

Other: I chose this course because, over a period of time, there is again scope for the mechanical field and there is good placement in the mechanical branch in our college. The best thing about this course is that we enjoy doing practicals. I just need to improve the build. I mean, I just need a bit of renovation. Every year there is AURA in the month of March, which is the college festival, and we get scholarships like SSP and NSP. And we get to participate in zonal-level competitions.

Quality education and more important practical knowledge.

Placements: 90% of the students are placed in Amazon ,SAP ,wipro ,Tcs ,Delloite etc. All the students got internships. Some got top roles. We were prepared well for the interview. We were taught not only theoretically but also practically. Overall the college tries that all the students should be placed.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is pretty good. We have separate buildings for all the courses with ventilated classrooms. The classrooms are .neat and clean with Wi-Fi access and well equipped labs There is a huge library of 2 floors. Hostel infrastructure is good and the food is average.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and skilled. They provide us practical knowledge also with theoretical knowledge. The course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry ready. We do industrial visit also every month where we gain a lot of practical knowledge.

Other: Because I am passionate about it. More industrial visits We will be having world class events in every 3 to months.

Our college provides good placements.

Placements: Placements provided in the IT and circuit branches are good. Most of the students got placed this year with good salary packages in good companies. Placement cell of our college is very supportive. Students of our college get a placement training program in the fifth semester. Many placements are provided for our batch.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is a little old. Our campus is not big but the classrooms are good, well-ventilated, and digitalised. The infrastructure of the labs is very good. Equipment in the lab is a little old but works well.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members in our college are supportive and have good knowledge. Assignments and internal and external assessments are conducted well. There are many innovation clubs for students to learn many things.

Other: Our college provides much scope for curricular and co-curricular activities.

One of the best college in Belgaum. There are various types of activities available.

Placements: This year the highest package is 32 lpa, and minimum is 10 lpa. Many companies show their interest in our college. The highest package is given by samsung company. Daimler AG, Mercedes Benz AG, wipro, ACC, Infosys, Eclerks JP Morgan, Continental, Amazon etc., come for recruitment.

Infrastructure: There is good Wi-Fi connectivity in whole campus, canteen-mess is also available. There are many stalls outside the college. Bank and ATM facility is available. Our college is good at sports, we have won many tournaments. Recently we won KLS IMER football trophy.

Faculty: Faculty members at KLS GIT are very supportive they make their students understand each and every concept related to respective subjects. KLS GIT is autonomous Institute affiliated, to Vishweshwaraay technical university and they have precisely introduced syllabus which the recruiting companies require.
