About the Vidyavardhaka family.
Placements: Our college has a very good placement history. The highest package in our college is 36 LPA till date. This year, our seniors have been placed for 10 LPA as the highest package. The minimum package is around 3 LPA. We have very well-recognised companies that come to our college for recruitment.
Infrastructure: Our college labs are very well-designed. We have all the latest advanced equipments in the lab. Classrooms are very well-maintained. Our library is open 24X7 with a very good Wi-Fi connection. Our hostel is one of the best hostels in the engineering colleges which is very clean and well-maintained with Wi-Fi connections.
Faculty: All the faculty members are well-qualified with higher degrees. Faculty members are very friendly on and off the campus. They are very supportive of us both in achieving good scores in academics and our other ethical hobbies. There are lots of clubs in the college that encourage us to participate in different kinds of activities.

I'm satisfied with everything except, the college campus.
Placements: I'm a student, currently in the 7th semester and will be passing out in 2025. Placements are going on already. Around 20% of students got placed in good companies with decent salary packages. The highest salary package offered is 25 LPA by Juspay. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are IBM, LG Soft, NCompass, Towell Engineering, Cognizant, Texas Instruments, L&T, Capgemini, Delloit, Digital Shark, and Pravega Semi.
Infrastructure: High-speed Wi-Fi is available in the entire college, and labs are well-equipped with updated equipment. We also have a VLSI lab ( Cadence tool) in our college, which many colleges in the district don't have. It provides a golden opportunity for students to pursue their careers in the VLSI domain. Coming to the hostel facilities. In our hostel, they provide morning tea/ coffee, biscuits, breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner. Everyday menu changes, which is amazing. No student gets bored with the food like other hostels, every time it's different and tasty too. We have a hospital in our college itself and an ambulance service too, which is available on the college campus itself. A doctor is available in the cabin from 8.30 AM-5:00 PM. As for sports and games, our college has an excellent infrastructure as seen on the official Instagram page of VVCE. Recently many players have been identified and trained. They have also won many VTU competitions, interzone events, and even at international level.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and highly experienced. They explain concepts in such a way that students can get to them very deeply. In fact, they make the toughest subject seem easier. The course curriculum is relevant. Our faculty suggest to do an extra course an extra course on the subject through Coursera and other websites. These extra courses are compulsory, and a test is conducted at the end. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not that difficult if we study as faculty instructs. By paying attention in class, one can get to know important questions. We can even refer to internal papers and module papers to focus on important questions, which will help to score above 75% easily.
Other: I have a passion for engineering since my childhood days. So I took Electronics and Communication immediately after 10th as a diploma course. The best thing about our course is that this is a core engineering branch with high demand, especially in the coming two years. The other best thing is that we can switch to the IT industry. Our college has identified the old syllabus and replaced it with the industry-relevant syllabus so we don't have any issues with our course because we are already studying updated syllabus. Our college organizes the best events in Mysore. Before SJCE was conducting JCYANA events but from the past 4 years VVCE started conducting events better than any other college in the entire Mysore. Vidyuth, an event that will be held every year is the best event I have seen in my entire life. Coming to the scholarship, our college provides amazing scholarship opportunities to students, who are financially weak and for the rank holders. Scholarships are kept confidential and colleges do not reveal it anywhere (students might feel bad, so they do not reveal the student's pictures to whom scholarships were given). Regarding extracurricular activities, our college has many clubs and those are involved in many activities. So, we have to join the club based on our interest.

Our college is very good for engineering students in terms of education.
Placements: Around 150 out of 180 students got placed in the ECE branch. Students got good placement opportunities. The highest salary package offered in our course is 33 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college provides very good facilities for all courses. Wi-Fi is available in our college. The infrastructure of our college is very good and clean. We have a separate library for different courses. The hostel is clean. It provides great food. The hostel provides Wi-Fi and good sports.
Faculty: Our teachers are highly educated. The teaching and non-teaching staff members are good. Semester exams are not much difficult. The course curriculum is very relevant and understandable. Exams are based on student's ability to analyze and understand every concept perfectly.
Other: Our college provides scholarships for financially weak students. There are many prominent clubs in our college. They conduct many activities.

Placements: Around 100% of students get placed in our college every year. The highest salary package offered is 21 LPA, the lowest salary package is 3.5 LPA, and the average salary package is 5 LPA to 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Amazon, Infosys, Just Dial, Mind Tree, HP, L&T, Infotech, and Capgemini. Our college has a dedicated training and placement department. It mainly focuses on training and making students industry-ready. Our department trains plenty of students every year, and 60% of them get placed in core companies like Intel, Texas, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college has smart classrooms with projectors, well-equipped labs, and all the study materials in the library. It has a good infrastructure. Hostel facilities are good, with clean rooms and a ragging-free campus. The quality of food served in the hostel is good. Faculty: Teachers in our college are very good. They are Ph.D. or M.Tech graduates. The course curriculum is relevant. Workshops and training sessions are held to improve the skills of the students. Semester exams are not difficult. Students can pass easily but it is difficult to score good marks.

A very good autonomous institute for BE .
Placements: The placement cell is very active. In this academic year (2022–23), 250+ companies visited the campus and 650+ offers were reached. Almost 90% got placed this year, and the placement record is increasing year by year. Overall, the highest package is INR 24 LPA, and the highest package in the ECE department is INR 21 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Separate building blocks for each department, which have separate departmental libraries, placement cells, indoor sports complexes, separate boys and girls hostels with Wi-Fi facilities, etc., are available. The campus is green and well maintained, and overall, campus life is very good.
Faculty: Since VVCE is an autonomous institute, it has an updated curriculum that is relevant to the current trends in the industry. Faculty and staff members are always open to clarifying doubts and are also supportive. The conduct of exams and other activities is well structured.

Our college has a dedicated training and placement department, which focuses on training and making students industry-ready. Infrastructure: Our college provides excellent infrastructure. Medical facilities are available. The library has a reading capacity of 210 seats. College buses are available. Our college has two canteens. Sports and games are held.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Many clubs allow students to involve in extracurricular activities. Labs and classrooms are very well built with fine infrastructure. Wi-Fi access is provided for all the blocks.

Our college has good placements.
Placements: Our college offers very good placements. Around 81% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 23 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are HPE, Cisco, Intel, Qualcomm, etc. Around 35% of students got internships in this course. The top roles offered are VLSI designer and embedded systems.
Infrastructure: Our branch has very good infrastructure. Free Wi-Fi is available. Laboratory is better. Classrooms are well-equipped with projectors. Students can access the lectures on an online platform. Hostel facilities are good. The food quality is good.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. The teaching quality is not satisfactory except for a few faculty members. Our college provides good training and they use industry-level tools. Semester exams are difficult. They have diluted the difficulty to the subsequent batch of students.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in the software and hardware industries. Our college should improve its teaching method. Workshops must be conducted regularly. Vidyuth fest is conducted in this college.
