It is a good college with decent placements and facilities.

Placements: Around 78% of students get campus placements. The lowest package offered is 2 LPA, and the average package ranges between 3 and 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Wipro, and Cognizant. Nearly 60% of students get internships during the course in companies such as Jogo at Salem and local startups.

Infrastructure: The college provides good infrastructure for both academic and residential purposes. Classrooms are maintained with basic digital facilities. Laboratories are having necessary tools and systems for practical learning. The library has a reasonable collection of books and access to digital resources. Wi-Fi is available across the campus at varying speeds.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. They possess good subject knowledge. Most teachers stay updated. They support students academically and personally. The teaching quality is decent. Along with a mixture of theoretical and practical explanations. The course benefits from more industry-oriented teaching methods. The curriculum covers core concepts required for placements. It may not be fully updated with the latest industry trends. However, additional project work makes students industry-ready.

Other: I chose because it offers good career opportunities. Also, It aligns with my interests in the field. The best things about the course is the balance between theoretical knowledge and practical exposure through labs and assignments. College also conducts various technical and cultural events. It helps students improve their skills and confidence. I feel curriculum should improve more frequently to match current industry requirements. It provides more hands-on training and internships.

Facilities were good and excellent.

Placements: My college was good in academics and placements, and I was in a batch of B.Tech Computer Science and Business System Engineering students. The placement percentage of the number of students successfully placed in college, including the highest, the lowest, and the advantage of our college competition of the leading competitor of the specific university.

Infrastructure: My college has a good network, providing high-speed Wi-Fi connection and internet access across campus. There is modern equipment for hands-on learning in Science, engineering, and specialized research. Classrooms have digital boards, projectors, and comfortable seating to enhance learning. There is also a vast collection of books in libraries, journals, and research papers, often with online access to e-resources.

Faculty: Faculty are very good and friendly to students, explaining doubts using clear methods. The teaching staff is well-qualified and experienced, with industry and research backgrounds. The curriculum offers a balanced mix of foundational subjects.

An honest review about K. Ramakrishnan College of Engineering.

Placements: Nearly 50-25% of students are placed in our course. The highest package is nearly 12 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA for past students. Top companies like Zoho, TCS, and Wipro offered roles. The top roles offered in our course are HR and also software engineers, as well as developers at tribute companies, so it was a good role offered in our course.

Infrastructure: If you talk about the facilities and infrastructure, there are Wi-Fi connections all over our college campus and also facilitated classrooms and a library with thousands of books. If we talk about the quality of our hostel, it may be something average because the food was so low, and not many students studied in the hostel.

Faculty: Teachers are so kind and show respect. They help us in a good way, and also clarify all our questions. They are so helpful for us with all problems, and they treat us well and also treat us like their own children. If you talk about the semester exams, they are tough, not so much that you can easily score good marks. Also, you can get CA marks before the exams; they conducted so many mocks so that your semester exam will be quite easy.

A small review of K Ramakrishnan College of Engineering from my point of view.

Placements: 90% of the people who passed out are placed. When we talk about internships, many people, including my brother, got internships at small startup companies. So, you can easily get an internship from this college. Roles like HR can also be obtained through these opportunities.

Infrastructure: Our classrooms were clean and neat. Also, most labs are available, and there are good libraries with a large number of books. When you talk about the hostel, there may be small food problems in our college, like the quality, but otherwise, the food was good. Maybe small issues happen sometimes. Medical facilities are available 24/7, and the canteen food was good.

Faculty: When we talk about the faculty, they are very helpful to us. Also, the exams are easy. They explain things in a simple way so we can understand the semester material. It isn’t very difficult to learn, and it is easy to pass. If the exam is conducted for 100 marks, then the passing percentage is 50%.

Other: About this course, it was the most wonderful course I have ever seen because in CSE you only learn about computers, but in CSBS you can learn both business and computers. So, it was helpful for learning both business and computer software. I will recommend this to you guys if you are ready to learn both computer and business. The one thing I want the college to improve is the food in the hostel. It was not very bad, but it needs better discipline. That was the only problem, otherwise, everything was good.

Golden days of my college life .

Placements: They will take on the new companies in the year of 2024, and more people are getting selected for those new companies, and they will also take on the repeated companies, and one major mistake is that some of the companies will expect 60% in both 12th and under 10th.

Infrastructure: Courses are good in the college, and also campus life is too good and neat when compared to a hostel. In a hostel, the total control is taken by Zolo Stays, so it is very neat and clean. And they will provide free popcorn with theatre-type movies for everyone once a week, and also they cut the cake for the hostel students free of cost.

Faculty: Faculty members are too good and expected people in their core fields, and also every department has the certified staff, like in CSE, 8 staff members are certified Java trainers from the Wipro company, so they have good knowledge in programming languages, and they will clear the students doubts effectively with real-time examples.

It is an okay college, but not that good.

Placements: I am one of the students of the first batch, which passed in the year 2024. The highest package for the CSE stream is INR 20 LPA, and the lowest is INR 2.2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Accenture, CTS, Hexaware, and Capgemini. Nearly 75% of the students got internships in the previous academic year from the above-mentioned companies. My course offers two main roles, namely management and coding skills, in combination.

Infrastructure: The facilities available are Wi-Fi, labs, and computers. But they can improve some more. The library has a reasonable number of books. The quality of the rooms is okay. But the AC rooms are so good. But food is not that good. It is spicier in nature. They use ready-made parathas and chapatis.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are qualified. Teaching quality is not that bad. Yes, of course, the curriculum is related to our subject. Yes, it makes us industry-ready because, as CSBS, we also have management papers for industrial knowledge. The exams are quite difficult. But they always give us coaching and repetitive tests to improve our internals. So the pass percentage is always greater than 90%.

Other: I chose this course because it is different from others and provides a good scope of knowledge.

K Ramakrishnan College of Engineering is best for placements which also has best faculty.

Placements: 43 students were placed in my course. The highest job role offered was TL at TCS in the year 2015. The highest salary offered in this course is INR 8 LPA, the lowest is INR 3 LPA and the average is INR 4.5 LPA. 90% of students got internship in various companies. Company like Tata Concentration Service (TCS) came for recruitment.

Infrastructure: In my college, all the departments have separate libraries. We have a separate lab function. Hostel, mess, medical facilities and sports all are good, clean and are well-maintained. All Classrooms have a separate Wi-Fi.

Faculty: The teaching quality of faculty members is super because all the teachers have a doctorate in their fields. Teachers are helpful and have full knowledge of their respective streams. Their teaching method includes practical and industrial base coaching which helps in making the students industry ready.

We have great future and can develop knowledge well.

Placements: In my course that's CSBS we have not more placement records Its average compared to CSE and ECE the highest package was 15 LPA and the lowest was 5 LPA and average LPA was 7 Infosys, TCS were the top recruiting companies Internship was nearly 87 percentage A girl got hr role directly due to 4 internship .

Infrastructure: The classrooms were clean but digit board were not perform good There is not Wi-Fi connection in 5th floor. Hostel food is not that good. Canteen food sometimes good. It's not better to eat in canteen. For sport this college is best in Trichy. We can develop yourself .

Faculty: The teachers will help for our knowledge and education related doubts In our college there is special importance for placement training Sem exams were slightly difficult but the teacher make us to pass Our course pass percentage was 96 and have to do SMART work then hard work .

Other: This course have high value in future because this course have both management paper as well as CSE paper so we have scope in both the fields. This course in this college have less value .
