Lady Shri Ram College-honest review.

Placements: I am not very sure about this particular combination. The highest salary package offered in 2024 was 48.90 LPA. The average salary package offered is 10.55 LPA. Deloitte is the only recruiter. Our CGPA plays a very crucial role in our placements along with our skills and experiences.

Infrastructure: The campus is beautiful and peaceful, recognised for its greenery. Wi-Fi is available at good speed around the libraries, which include a regular library and a reference library where bags are allowed. There is a separate block for tutoring classes. The canteen offers a diverse menu, featuring both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options from North and South Indian cuisines. The college also provides opportunities to join NCC and NSS, along with various sports options like archery.

Faculty: Teachers are great. We are provided with our teachers' email IDs in the student portals from which we can connect with them for any query or help and they do reply. For psychology, we have to give practicals which are helpful in acquiring real-life skills for jobs in psychology. We have to conduct some experiments and make reports on them. Semester exams are moderate. We can easily clear our exams with good marks if we study well for them. The faculty at LSR are experienced.

Other: This course is offered at only a few DU colleges. It is known for its excellent faculty and infrastructure for psychology students. Political science teachers are also highly experienced. However, the college has a strong academic focus, which may make it challenging for some to manage their workload. It's best suited for those who are serious about studying. The diverse student body from across India adds to a unique and motivating environment for personal growth.

Studying in LSR is no less than a dream come true. LSR deserves all the hype it gets.

Placements: LSR has a really active placement cell and active college placements do take place. In fact the highest placement package offer is 45 LPA, which is also from lsr, the highest among all DU colleges. Yet, specifically if we talk about placements in the B.A. programme then they are very inactive and not fruitful. Like what is the point of placing an individual who is majoring in history into a marketing startup B.A. programme students do not get campus placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of LSR is one of the best among all the DU colleges. All the facilities provided in terms of sports, medical and canteen are better than those of other DU colleges. One thing which is very disappointing is that LSRs hostel has been under repair for the last 3 years and there is no hope of starting the hostel facilities anytime soon. Wi-Fi of LSR is another major issue which students and faculty face quite often.

Faculty: Teachers are active, qualified and knowledgeable and can effectively solve the doubts of students. Sometimes they can be overly demanding and pressurising. Especially, the psychology department of LSR is qualified yet lacking in empathy towards students.

Other: Overall, LSR is a good place where you can grow and nurture your ideas and curiosity with your extremely talented peers. LSR gives you the environment to develop yourself and the liberty to express yourself freely. Sometimes the competition becomes demotivating because you stay and study among the toppers and intelligent bunch of people. The crowd of LSR is very helpful and supportive making the campus engaging, safe and beautiful.
