The exam fee for LPUNEST (soft copy of LPUNEST KIT) is INR 1,000 for males and INR 500 for females. The printed LPUNEST Kit is INR 1,500 for boys and INR 1,000 for girls. Check below the steps to apply for LPU PhD admission:

Step 1: Visit the official website of LPU and click on the ' Apply Now' tab at the top of the web page.

Step 2: Register on the official admission portal of LPU i.e. LPUADMIT (admission.lpu.in) with basic details such as name, email-id, mobile no., state, gender and password). The email id used during registration will act as the username for the portal and the password needs to be set by the candidate while registering. Candidates can continue to apply for LPUNEST (for scholarship purposes).

LPU Admission Office shortlists candidates for PhD admission based on their scores in LPUNEST. Aspirants who pass the entrance test have to further qualify interview round. The final selection for PhD admission is based on performance of the candidates in entrance test (80% weightage) and interview (20% weightage) subject to scoring minimum marks in the interview round.

LPU Admission Office offers admission on the basis of merit and valid entrance scores. Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 50% to 60% in Class 12 for admission to UG level courses. Whereas, for PG level courses, candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 50% to 55% in graduation. In addition to this, candidates must secure valid scores in entrance exams such as LPU NEST, JEE Main, CUET UG/PG and other equivalent examinations. The slot booking window for the LPU NEST 2026 can be done three days before the exam. The last date to book the slot will be announced soon. The candidates should make sure that the slots are booked before the exam date. The exam slots are allotted based on availability.

Candidates can download their LPU NEST 2026 admit card after booking the exam slots. The admit card will be available on the official website.
