LPU Open Admissions for 2025-26 Academic Season 

Nov 11, 2024:  LPU is now taking applications for 2025-26 academic season. Interested candidates can apply for the same on the official website. The online registration process for admissions to LPU is now open. To apply students can visit the LPU website and register for the LPUNEST. LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test) serves as both an admission test and a pathway for students to secure scholarships. During the application period, candidates can choose their preferred programs and must take the LPUNEST to qualify for admission and potential financial support based on merit.

Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Founder Chancellor of LPU stated at the onset of the admission process, saying, "At LPU, we believe in nurturing talent and empowering students to become leaders and innovators in their chosen fields. We emphasize delivering a practical skill to prepare students to handle the challenges of an ever-changing global context. We are looking forward to a new group of students who will help define the future with us. From the academic year 2024-25, LPU expanded its offerings with programs in AI, Cloud Computing, Tech MBA, Data Science, Big Data Analytics, Aerospace Engineering, Bioengineering, Architecture, and more. LPU’s MBA programs offer both single and dual specializations in areas such as business analytics, finance, human resource management, and international business to enhance employability in diverse sectors.

The LPU batch of 2022–24 achieved record success in the placement season. More than 1500 students secured packages ranging from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 64 lakh. According to placement records, the average package of the top 10 percent of LPU students is Rs 12.3 lakh. 2018 batch LPU student Yasir M secured a package of Rs 3 crore from an IT company. At the same time, another student, Pawan Kunchala, has received a package of Rs 1 crore from IT company TC Centrall. 

Renowned Scientists & Nobel Laureates to Gather at LPU for 109th Indian Science Congress on Sustainable Development

December 7, 2023: The Indian Science Congress will be held at LPU for the 2nd time; the 1st was in 2019. The Lovely Professional University (LPU) is happy to announce a series of various conferences and sessions under the theme "The Global Perspective on Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future." This distinguished event will bring together world-renowned Nobel laureates, scientists, researchers, academicians, experts, innovators, and policymakers to discuss and devise strategies for long-term growth in a variety of sectors. The Indian Science Congress will include a plethora of conferences and sessions, each concentrating on a particular theme that emphasizes the important role of science and technology in constructing a sustainable world. The following is the conference schedule:

On January 3rd, 2024, the Indian Science Congress will be inaugurated, followed by a plenary lecture program. The Children's Science Congress, Women's Science Congress, Farmers' Science Congress, and Science Communicators' Meet will all be inaugurated on the second day. The Children's Science Congress will provide a one-of-a-kind platform for children aged 10 to 17 to demonstrate their scientific temperament and knowledge through scientific experiments, boosting their creativity and hunger for scientific inquiry. The Women's Science Congress will seek to honor and appreciate women's contributions to science while also encouraging gender equality in research and innovation. The Science Communicators' Meeting will focus on developing successful methods of distributing scientific knowledge and instilling a scientific mindset in the general public. The Farmers' Science Congress will focus on farmers' critical role in crafting a sustainable world through climate-resilient agriculture, entrepreneurship models, and digital innovations.

The Science and Society Congress and the Tribal Science Congress will be inaugurated on the third day. The Science and Society Congress will examine the relationship between science, society, and sustainable development, with an emphasis on ethical issues. Scientists, researchers, and politicians will assemble at the Tribal Science Congress to display indigenous knowledge systems, sustainable livelihood techniques, and traditional tribal culture. Aside from these sessions, the congress will include conferences on a variety of topics to delve into specialized areas of scientific study and innovation. Physics, mathematics, chemistry, animal, veterinary, and fishery sciences, earth system sciences, and many more subjects are covered. Each conference will look at advances in their respective domains and how they contribute to sustainable development, environmental conservation, and resource management. This will be LPU's second time hosting the famous event, with the first taking place in 2019. The event aims to pave the road for a more promising and sustainable future. Scientists, researchers, academics, politicians, and members of the general public are cordially invited to attend this prestigious event and contribute to the worldwide discussion on science and technology for a sustainable future.
