Overall, my experience in the college was good.

Placements: Students were selected on a merit basis, as far as I know. Sports students are also given priority. Students from both science and commerce backgrounds are allowed to pursue the course. Campus recruitment is done exclusively by the placement cell. Our department got only a few opportunities, but students from journalism and commerce were getting really good offers.

Infrastructure: It is a small campus but utilised very well. Canteen food is tasty, very reasonably priced and quite hygienic. The college is located next to Ispahani centre, Nungambakkam. It is in a busy and happening area and well connected by bus, share auto and train facilities.

Faculty: Overall, the course is very good and interesting. It is practical and logical. The faculty are well-educated and experienced. Most of them are supportive, helpful and friendly with students. But a few of them are very shrewd and partial. Labs are well equipped and maintained.

Other: Events like Jhankar, Abhilasha, and Vish are conducted every year. Big celebrities like AR Rahman, Ilayaraja, Gautam Vasudev Menon and many others take part in such events as chief guests. A good platform is available to expose our talent in extracurricular activities.
