A college with great freedom.
Placements: 70 members joined my course. The highest package is 70+ LPA, the lowest package was 4 LPA, and the average of 6 LPA. Students with any courses can apply for the jobs and internships, but you need to pass all exams and must know programming languages.
Infrastructure: Every class has projects, and every department has its particular labs. Classrooms have more than enough space. The canteen has almost every type of food, very cost-friendly, the college encourages sports, and an indoor sports room and gym are available on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified, and every teacher can teach multiple languages and multiple technical skills. The course curriculum is relevant to the current market. By the 6th semester, students are able to do an internship. The exams are difficult, but you can get good grades if you are well-prepared.
Other: It is the current trending course in the market, and I am also interested in AI. It can be improved by adding more practical exams rather than writing on paper. The course can be improved by giving more information about the current AI model. This college has events, and very green college surroundings, and encourages extracurricular activities mostly related to movies.

Overview of life at Mahatma Gandhi Institute of technology.
Placements: In the state of Telangana, this is one of the colleges that has placements related to your course work. Rather taking up a non-technical field, the college provides with opportunities mostly in technical roles. The Placement Department of MGIT takes care of all the placement-related activities. They also provide training like CRT (campus Campus training) and DSA training that can help the students crack the interviews. The placements usually start by the end of the 6th semester. The offers are usually paid internships that are later converted into full-time roles. college also provides placement support to various other branches like Mechanical, Electrical, civil, etc. in their respective fields. Overall, there are high chances of getting placed, irrespective of the branch the student is in. This time in the academic year 2024, the highest placement offered was 25 LPA, with median salary of 6.5 LPA (for CSE-related branches). .
Infrastructure: The college does not have a women's hostel; however, a lot of students stay in the hostels managed by private people near the college at a walkable distance. The mess is really small but it takes care of the cleanliness while preparing the food. Usually, it serves breakfast, lunch and snacks at the respective times. The most delightful thing is the Juice Center, which serves fresh fruit juice.
Faculty: Most of the faculty are friendly and have vast teaching experience. The only drawback was that the curriculum was outdated. The topics that are discussed in the college are in no way related to what the industry needs. However, there are new subjects introduced in the course work, along with the additional support provided through workshops.
Other: The college has clubs established in all the extracurricular fields that a person might be interested in. The college Dance, Music, Drama, Gaming, Coding, Photography and Literary clubs make anyone feel inclusive in the campus environment. These clubs are most active during the Cultural Fest (NIRVANA) and also participate in other events throughout the year.

Dissatisfied because of its placements in 2024.
Placements: Atmost 35% of students are placed. The average package ranges between 4 LPA - 4.5 LPA. The highest salary is 10.5 LPA, and the lowest salary is 1.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Providence, Deloitte, and Cognizant. Students get full-time placements only after completing the internships provided by the companies in which they are selected. Top roles offered are software engineer and programming analyst.
Infrastructure: Labs have decent performing computers and there won't be any Wi-Fi around the college. Classrooms and library are good. The meals in the hostel are of top quality in my time. The college has a small canteen where the students hang out with friends. Sports competitions are only held before the annual day.
Faculty: I feel the curriculum is good but the quality of teachers doesn't match. The teaching methods don't make the students industry-ready. They majorly focus on just academics. Semester exams are of moderate level which also includes 1-3 labs in every semester exams.
Other: I was fond of AI right from my intermediate so I ended up taking this course. The major thing that needs to be improved is the quality of faculty as the current faculty members don't have the capability of making the students good enough in the emerging technologies. Events are held once every year and we call it Nirvana, which is a three-day fest that includes many activities, enjoyment, entertainment, etc.

Faculty shortage, average placements but overall experience was good.
Placements: I chose CSE with AI and ML as specializations. Almost 30% of students got placed this year. The highest package was from Providence at 11 LPA, the lowest package was from Deloitte at 3.25 LPA and the average package is around 4.5 LPA. Cognizant and Deloitte are the top recruiters for our course. The top role offered is SDE intern.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided in library and the department has two well-equipped labs. The hostel is 2 km away from the college, and the food is not that good. The sports room is available after 3 p.m. every day and has indoor games. The college has a medical room with beds and emergency medicine.
Faculty: There is a shortage of faculty for this new specialisation course as there are new core subjects in the 3rd and 4th years. Even though the college got autonomous status, it is still following the old curriculum, which is not according to industry standards. Exams are moderately difficult if you attend at least 50% of classes and study before exams.

Our college is best college. Many students are exploring in many ways in different courses.
Placements: 50% students are placed in our college. The highest package is 80 lakhs, the lowest package is 3 lakhs and average package is 30 lakhs. Deloite is the top recruiting company. About 30% of students got internship from my course and in delete company. Top roles offered in my course is manager.
Infrastructure: We have best canteen all food items hygiene food, library we have many books to refer, classrooms infrastructure is best, we have best labs neat and clean. We have boys hostel but not girls hostel but facilities in hostel are good medical infra etc.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is best. We have experienced faculty. Yes this course curriculum relevant. Yes it makes the student industry ready. We are affiliated to jntuh we have very strict correction. Pass percentage will be very less.
Other: I chose this course because future ruling course is artificial intelligence. The best thing is Subjects new programming languages. To improve my course we need more best faculty. Events fest were held very nice we njoied a lot. The campus crowd was okay. Scholarship we get many scholarships. Extra curricular activities we have many.
