- The KMAT Karnataka 2026 session 1 registration process for admission to MBA/PGDM and MCA courses is expected to begin in Feb 2026.
- The Karnataka PGCET 2026 registrations for admission to MBA, MCA, and ME/MTech courses will be expected to begin in the last week of April 2026.

In order to get admission to Manipal Institute of Technology, candidates are required to qualify for MET, which is an in-house entrance exam of Manipal University. Manipal MTech fee for a 2-year course ranges between 2.16 L- 3.46 L. This range contains the tuition fee for all MTech specialisations. Apart from this fee, candidates also have to pay an application fee of INR 600 (for General candidates) at the time of filling the application form. There is a separate registration fee of INR 1,400 for entrance examination.

In order to get admission at Manipal Institute of Technology for BTech the candidate need to meet the minimum eligibility criteria. The candidate have to complete Class 12 with 50% aggregate with Science stream. However, for BTech Lateral Entry should complete 3-year Diploma (respective Engineering stream) granted by the State Board of Technical Examination with minimum 45% aggregate marks or equivalent. On the other hand, should pass in BSc Degree, with Mathematics in 12 standard, from a recognised University with minimum 45% aggregate marks or equivalent.

State Scholarship Portal (SSP), Government of Karnataka is a state portal that covers all the scholarship schemes offered by the Karnataka State Government, to assist financial assistance for the education of the students of the underprivileged sections. SSP portal is a single application portal for all the pre-matric and post-matric scholarships provided by the different departments of Karnataka State.
The basic eligibility requirement is BCA/ BSc Computer Science/ IT from a recognised institute with 50% aggregate marks. The university provides direct admissions to the course based on merit. Foreign/ NRI category candidates are also admitted to the course after fulfilment of eligibility criteria.
This course is offered in two streams of Science and Management. Admission to MIT Pune MCA course is entrance-based.
