MIT Manipal: A study ambience with great placements and the best social life in India.
Placements: Placements in MIT Manipal are a massive deal. The fees being slightly higher makes you believe that the placements will be great. The placements are not as good as IITs' standards but are the best in terms of all private colleges. Keeping up with a good CGPA will surely result in a great placement.
Infrastructure: Manipal is a paradise when it comes to infrastructure. It comprises 5 major academic blocks. The academic block is very well-equipped with projection and live recording systems. The labs are very exciting and enthusiastic to work in a friendly and comfortable environment.
Faculty: Teachers are filled with immense knowledge and have one of the greatest experiences. Professors are really friendly and visionary when it comes to acquiring industrial trivia from them and maybe landing a upcoming internship. Exams are well designed to acquire GATE-level knowledge making students fit for direct industrial exposure.
Other: MIT Manipal has one of the best social lives across India. It is one of the most unique campuses in India. A 100 percent ragging-free college with a strong set of student welfare boards. Campus has great connectivity throughout the state, and activities are a big constant at MIT. Every week, there's something big going on at the student plaza.

It offers quality education and infrastructure.
Placements: Around 60-70 percent of students got placed. The highest package offered ranges from 10-20 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 3 LPA. The average package offered ranges from 5-6 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few other renowned companies. Mostly, everyone secured some internship or industrial training through the college if they did not have any backlog.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is top-tier. Some days, the Wi-Fi connection is poor. The mess and hostels are decent. It has its own hospital for 24x7 medical assistance. Gym and sports areas are provided, and students are motivated to take part. Mess food is good and nutritious.
Faculty: Most teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. Exams are relatively difficult but manageable with regular practice. Exams are taken very seriously. From time to time, teachers provide projects and assignments apart from exams.
Other: I chose this course because it is interesting, and in line with the industry I am planning to go into. It should provide more practical facilities and industry knowledge, which would be better. Fests are really fun and engaging.

Navigating through students' perspectives in MIT.
Placements: My course is electronics and instrumentation. The first batch will pass out next year for my branch. It is a relatively newer branch at MIT, so the package offered in my course is yet to happen. However, people in the third year have been offered placements from big companies like Goldman Sachs, Being, Tata, Wipro, and others. 62.5% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: All hostels, classes, and labs are air-conditioned. We have Wi-Fi. The library is on three floors. There is a giant structure with a personal study area and group study halls. They are open from morning till 10:30 at night. All sports grounds are free of cost and available inside the premises. There is an arena that is a paid area for sports and a gym. The food quality in the mess is pretty decent. The menu changes every week. Both veg and non-veg options are available. Even Jain food is separately available.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. Most of them have done Ph.D. in their respective area of study and are doing research projects. The course curriculum includes both soft skills and hard skills for you to get experience with real-life projects. Semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage varies from subject. Some of the subjects like signal and system have low passing percentages.
Other: Events, fests, and college life are top-notch. Scholarships are available for girls in particular branches and students getting less than 10,000 rank in MET.

If anyone wants to join our college they are highly recommended.
Placements: Courses in our college are the same as tier 1 colleges and the percentage of students getting placed is like 80% according to my research. Top recruiting companies depend on a branch to branch as Google, Microsoft, and IT companies for CS branches and also companies like Nvidia and other companies for core branches. Overall, placements are not bad but good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at MIT Manipal is actually awesome. Wi-Fi is not available all over the campus but in hostels and classrooms. The quality of food depends on the mess or food court we choose. There is a good facility for sports and games. Even there is a hospital for medical purposes.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified in my campus particularly. The course curriculum for the whole academic year is clearly planned. Practical teaching is highly prioritised on our campus. The difficulty level of the exams is high compared to other colleges mainly.
Other: I chose this course because my interest is basically in sensors and embedded systems. Clubs and student projects improve the skills of students here.

Review of Manipal Institute of Technology.
Placements: There is around 92% placement rate in the course. The highest salary package offered was 24 LPA. The average salary package offered was 11 LPA and the average salary package offered was 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Schneider Electric and similar organisations.
Infrastructure: The laboratories are excellent and well-maintained. There is no infrastructure problem, as everything is properly managed by the college without any hassle. Wi-Fi is free in hostels for up to two devices. Mess food is excellent, and there are multiple facilities in the hostel, such as a night canteen and a table tennis room.
Faculty: First-year teachers are not that great. From the second year onwards, teachers are good. All of them are very accomplished in whatever field they are teaching and are very knowledgeable. Course curriculum is perfect for the industry and is updated every four years. Semester exams are of moderate level.
Other: I chose this course out of interest in robotics. There are three major fests.

If you can't get into any private college or BITS, MIT is best choice.
Placements: Around 93% of students get placed. The highest salary package offered was 21 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 15 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 5 LPA. Top recruiters were NVIDIA, Intel, and Microsoft. Around 30% of students are getting internships from NVIDIA and Microsoft. Top roles offered are HR and Assistant Manager.
Infrastructure: Overall, my experience with hostel life is good. We have high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the campus, and best part is that it is free. Lab infrastructure is up to date, and lab facilities are good. Mess food, which offers both south and north Indian menus, is best in the city, with a wide variety of options. In case of any medical emergencies or health issues, we have a clinic on campus, and KMC, which is also under MAHE, is free for all MIT students. Classrooms are adequate, with 24-hours Wi-Fi and modern facilities. We also have an arena where we can play a variety of indoor and outdoor sports.
Faculty: Almost every faculty member who comes to us has a PhD. and is well-versed in their subject knowledge. Overall, my experience with professors has been good. Course is industry-related and offers a variety of opportunities. Semester exams are at Bloom's Taxonomy level 3 and are fair enough to distinguish top-performing students from average students.
Other: We have a lot of events conducted by the clubs, campus staff, and campus head. Crowd is not that bad, but campus is spacious enough to accommodate it. Sometimes, mess seems to be crowded.

Placements were decent at this college.
Placements: In the 6th semester, students at the Manipal Institute of Technology start getting placement opportunities. Approximately 45% of the students are successfully placed in our course. The average package offered at the college was between 4 and 7 LPA. The top recruiters at our college were TCS, Wipro, Tata Motors, Hero India, etc. for this course.

Reasons why you should choose Manipal.
Placements: The campus placements and internships provided are really good. To be able to sit for placements, you need to score a minimum CGPA, which is normally around 6.5. All the big tech companies like Samsung, NI Labs, NVIDIA, etc. come for selection drives. The average package was around INR 8 LPA. The college placement team actually helps you build a good profile.
Infrastructure: The campus infrastructure is world-class and is actually among the best in India. All the labs and classrooms are equipped with the latest industry-grade equipment. The mess food is also good. You get served a healthy and tasty meal three times a day, along with snacks in the evening. For medical facilities, you have to go to Kasturba Hospital, which is among the best hospitals in India. Students get free consultations. Best-in-class sports facilities are there as well.
Faculty: All the professors have Phds and are well versed in their subjects. The course curriculum is well updated to meet industry standards and needs. The semester exams are a bit difficult, and you need thorough knowledge of every subject to score at least a B.
Other: A degree from Manipal holds a lot of value in today's world. You will be given ample opportunities in every field of your choice to catapult your life. The campus crowd is very diverse and vibrant. The student projects are the best part because you can apply your technical knowledge to them. Fests are fabulous. MIT organizes two fests: Revel (cultural) and TechTatva (technical). Manipal as a place is also a blessing.
