Great campus life and academics.
Placements: The placements are good, with top companies like Toyota Kirloskar, Tata, Mahindra, and Texas Instruments hiring students from our college. The average package from our college is 8 to 10 LPA, and they offer Graduate Engineers Apprentice Trainees, and Trainee Engineers.
Infrastructure: The hostel life is quite good. You will have options, such as AC rooms, non-AC rooms, common washrooms, and attached washrooms. The pricing is according to the configuration you choose. The internet speed is decent, offering 15 Mbps of unlimited internet. You can connect a maximum of three devices, and it covers almost the entire campus.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified and educated, and they are helpful. They are always ready to assist, whether you seek help with project work or academics. The mid-semester and end-semester exams are conducted on e-pad, which is quite good. It offers a variety of features, such as copy-pasting and copying circuits directly from the questions instead of drawing them again. You will also get a formula book during the exams.

Placements: About 95% of the students that participated in the on-campus placements received offer letters. The highest package offered was around 65 lakhs. The average package was around 12 lakhs, with the lowest package being around 3 lakhs. Microsoft, IBM, Bosch, and Deloitte were among the companies that visited.
Infrastructure: The hostels at MIT Manipal cannot be counted under the 5-star experience category, but they are pretty good. Depending on the type of accommodation you choose, you get an attached bathroom and AC. Talking about the hostel, we have 24-hour access to high-speed Wi-Fi, a night canteen for your midnight cravings, laundry services, an indoor games room, and a beautiful environment overall. The food at the mess is like your typical Indian mess food, but the items on the mess à la carte are worth a try.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers at MIT Manipal are very helpful, supportive, and highly qualified, with most of them holding doctorates in some field or the other. The curriculum for every course is revised each year, and the necessary changes are made to stay up to date. The curriculum is designed as per the guidelines provided by the UGC, but it gives an in-depth insight into the particular subject. The end-semester exams are pretty challenging, as they include questions based on real-life problems, which make the student think outside the box.

Overall, decent college with good infrastructure and bad placements.
Placements: Around 32% of the mechanical branch intake is placed while around 51% of total students are placed. The highest package is around 60 LPA, the lowest is around 1 LPA, and the average package is around 20 LPA. Top recruiters are Honeywell, Deloitte, Microsoft, JPMorgan, etc. Top role of any student is class representative in a branch, whereas in a student club the top position is on the board of members.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are air-conditioned with Wi-Fi. 5 academic blocks are present, all with air-conditioned classrooms. Most labs are air-conditioned apart from mechanical and chemical. Hostel facilities are above average, depending on your rank in MET hostel is allotted in grounds, if you have a good rank, you get to choose better hostel blocks i.e. single rooms with AC, certain blocks have an elevator 11-story means blocks. Wide variety of mess options to choose from, menu in each mess varies daily or weekly. I would recommend opting for the mess run by TIK. Sports facilities are plenty, Arena has the best facilities but you have to pay.
Faculty: Most teachers are good and experienced, some are approachable. Most have PhDs. Course Curriculum is relevant and up to date. Credits are allotted based on the program, around 40-50 credits per year. Students are made industry-ready by the course and are exposed to much learning by student clubs and especially student projects like TMR, Formula Manipal, RoboManipal, MRM, ThrustMIT, and AeroMit to name a few. Semester exams in 1st year are the same for all, the ease of exams depends on your prep in 11th and 12th and your ability to self-study. Pass percentage is around 80%.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering at MIT as it seemed like one of the most up-to-date colleges when it comes to mechanical engineering and also because of the proximity of the college to my hometown. College has its fair share of vice, like drug use, alcohol abuse, etc., and not much strict action is taken. Also, PDA is very much allowed anywhere on campus and even in classrooms. Fests on campus are held frequently and to a large extent. Participation is in large numbers. The scholarship is availed based on MET rank and CGPA in subsequent years, so maintain your grades. Lots of extracurricular activities are conducted. I would say this is the best college for it.

Placements: MIT Manipal Mechanical students get placed 60%-70%. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA-20 LPA, the average salary package offered was 6 LPA-7 LPA, and the Lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA-4 LPA. Top Recruiters: Tata Motors, L&T, Bosch Several internship companies visit in the 3rd year. Many students get placed through internships in their 3rd year.
Infrastructure: Spacious classrooms, air-conditioners, and Wi-Fi are accessible campus-wide, 24/7, for both academic and personal use. Mechanical department has thermal labs, heat mass transfer labs, fluid mechanics labs, CAD labs, and material science labs. For residential facilities, both air-conditioner and non-air-conditioner rooms are available, including single rooms with attached washrooms and double-sharing rooms with attached washrooms. All types of rooms are available. From the 2nd year onwards, hostel allotments are based on CGPA.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified, highly experienced, and hold advanced degrees. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are moderately challenging, using Bloom's Taxonomy, which focuses on conceptual learning. Exams are conducted on electronic pads to promote paperless assessments.
Other: Passion for Automotives and Aeronauticals. Focused lab sessions would improve, with more practical learning than theory. Events like Teach Tatva, Revel, and Utsav feature notable alumni and celebrities.

B.Tech Mechanical in MIT Manipal.
Placements: Mechanical placements are decent, with companies like Bosch offering 13 LPA. Offers, but the highest offers are mostly off-campus in non-tech consulting analyst roles. The highest package for non-tech roles, such as Amazon, is 25 LPA. In core mechanical, it ranges from 10 LPA to 15 LPA, with 4 LPA to 5 LPA being on the lower end.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good, with a wide range of hostels available, from AC to non-AC, shared to non-shared, and deluxe rooms as well. There are also quite a few messes with decent food quality and good hygiene. Wi-Fi is slightly on the lower side, but the gym facilities are top-notch, with the arena being the best.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified, though they can be boring sometimes, and you'll learn mostly outside classrooms in college clubs and student projects. Mechanical exams can be slightly tougher compared to CS branches, and the average CGPA is also lower. The mechanical course is quickly becoming irrelevant, but industry internships help.
Other: The crowd and exposure are immaculate, with a very diverse set of people from all around the globe. Very good learning culture with zero ragging. Fests also happen on a very big scale, and there are many beautiful places to visit nearby the campus on weekends.

Basic salary package depends on the company. The maximum package that went this time was around Rs 6.7 lakhs. On an average the package is around Rs 4 lakhs and there are a lot of job opportunities. Companies like Maruti suzuki, Mercedes, Bosch, etc. come to campus every year for recruitments.

Manipal University has good reputation in placement however the placement rate in master program from industry is slightly less even in IITs due to high paid salary. However in academic you will find good job even in the campus with satisfactory package.

There are a number of dates which you can fill. Depends on your choice. It's all online. Once you fill the form, you will get an email id and password and through that portal you can lock your date of the examination. Tentatively the examination starts in May and continues for the entire month.
