It is a very good college with good teachers, the best placements and really good infrastructure.
Placements: If you have skills, you will get placed from our college. In bioinformatics, core companies didn't visit here for placements, but you will get placed in CSE/IT companies. Many companies visit here for the role of an analyst. Here the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA to 18 LPA in Amazon.
Infrastructure: Single rooms are provided to M.Tech scholars in hostels. LAN is available with a speed of 900 Mbps. The mess is available for food which provides breakfast, lunch, tea and biscuits in the evening and dinner. The sports complex and gym are available. Tealogy canteen is very good, and it provides every type of tea and Chinese food items and thali for day scholars.
Faculty: Teachers here are really very good in behaviour and helpful. The curriculum makes students ready for industry. The difficulty of semester exams depends on subject to subject. Some subjects are hard, while some are of moderate level. About 90% of students pass the exams. Teachers are well qualified and experienced, so their teaching quality is also good.
Other: I chose this course because I want to study about genes behaviour and vaccine development stages, and I love mathematics. Lab facilities should be improved. Cultural fest and sports fest are organised. About Rs. 12,400 per month is provided as a stipend to M.Tech scholars.

My experience in the university during my M.Tech.
Placements: The placements on the campus were not good. Though the campus is big, B.Tech campus placement is good, but M.Tech is not that good. Bioinformatics lab is bad. There is no personal computer provided for the students. You have to carry everything there. No proper Wi-Fi or LAN connections were there. The faculty members were not that good, but they are helpful.
Infrastructure: The food provided on the campus is bad. The medical facilities are not good. There is no facility for the students. The labs are bad on the campus. The classrooms are not proper. The hostel rooms are small. I felt many issues regarding the infrastructure during my tenure. There was no internet connection for the students.
Faculty: The faculty members are helpful, but they are not that good at their level. The teaching methods are not good. There was no industry exposure for the students. The course curriculum was not that useful, or maybe we were not properly guided by the faculty. The faculty members over there didn't help in my project to complete. The other things were good on the campus.

Other: Department is really good.bt there is no system in the lab. You have to use your own laptop. Though faculties are really helpful :-) Hostels are not good. Very small. There is no non veg food available in your hostel sometime you can get egg coma egg curry omelette and there are some hostels where can get some chicken only in Sunday
