It is best college for B.Tech but average for M.Tech.

Placements: For the last few years, there are no placements in Hydropower. There are no placements for the current senior batch, nor we have any chance. The stipend offered is Rs. 12,400 per month. Students can take only 8 leaves in a year, if it is more than that, Rs. 400 per day will be deducted. A minimum of 75% attendance is compulsory.

Infrastructure: The college has a computer lab with high-speed Wi-Fi. Hydropower lab is also very good with models of all turbines. Medical and game facilities are good. The infrastructure has been newly constructed, so there is no problem with it. Classrooms are well-designed for proper visibility, air circulation and proper lighting.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They are highly experienced. The student to faculty ratio is good. All the faculty members are PhD holders with a minimum of 15-20 years of experience. They have published many research papers, national and international journals.

Other: Annual fests and events conducted in our college are the best.
