Best government engineering college.
Placements: 66%-70% of my course and other branch students have gotten placements. The maximum on-campus placement this year is 20 LPA, while the average package is almost 8-9 LPA. The highest package offered off-campus has a whopping 51 LPA from Microsoft. Nearly all the students got internships at various reputed tech companies. Many successful founders also have connections with the college. This year, 2025, 20 LPA is the highest from CSE.
Infrastructure: One of the oldest engineering colleges in Rajasthan, its infrastructure is similarly old. The library is well-stocked with a decent number of books. The boys' hostel is old, while the girls' hostel is newly built. The mess serves average food. There's a government dispensary right in front of the hostel campus, and sports grounds are also available.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, and in the technical branch, most of the teachers are guest faculty. The course curriculum is very relevant, as it is quite close to the syllabus of several competitive exams, such as GATE, DRDO, banking, etc. It also has a focus on placement, thereby making it very effective and beneficial for students.
Other: If you want to do a degree from a good government college, you should definitely take admission, and it's good for core branches.

Best government college for engineering.

The college is good in terms of its alumni. Otherwise, not suggestable.
Placements: An average batch of computer science is 60 students, out of which only 15-20 students got off-campus placements and others seek out-campus placements. Only a few tech companies visit our college, so there are more chances for off-campus. The highest salary package offered off-campus is 52 LPA. The highest salary package offered on campus is 17 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 6 LPA - 7 LPA. Almost every student got an internship but on a self basis. There's no role of college in internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in our department. There is also a combined college library for all departments. Labs are good for the CSE department. Labs of other departments are not very good. The infrastructure of the hostel is very poor. There is cleanliness. Our college does not provide sports and any type of games.
Faculty: Professors of our department are helpful, but classes are conducted on a regular basis. There's an attendance restriction. The course is not enough to get placements. You have to achieve skills on your own. Semester exams of our department are not very hard. Approximately 60-70% of students pass without back.
Other: I chose this course because I want to go for tech companies, but this course can't make you capable of facing job interviews. You have to learn skills on your self-basis. For the last 2 years, no event conducted in our college. Campus students are about 3,500-3,600. There are many creative and sports clubs in our college which are very good to explore.

The best thing about this college is the students and seniors. They know what to do, really great.
Placements: In my course CSE, over 50% of students got placed in 2024. Maximum package is 10 LPA, average package is 6.55 LPA, and median package is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Argusoft, CreateBytes, Incture, Kanerika, MiniOrange, and Sgital.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not that great, and hostel is worse. Food is not that good. There are sports facilities here, where you can play with your friends and have fun. College also has a small canteen and it's okay. You can chill around with your friends in the canteen.
Faculty: Faculty members are quite good. This curriculum is relevant but most of the work should be done by you. Most of the time, faculty members are absent but they teach us very well. Semester exams are really not that tough. If you start studying one week before the exam, you should be able to score really good. Exams are not really that stressful.

Faculty members are not so integrated because of high number of students.
Placements: I am a student of the B.Tech in computer science and engineering course from 2021-2025 batch at MBM University, Jodhpur. Based on my experience and the placement data of our batch and seniors, I would like to share a review regarding placements and internships. In our course, around 75-80% of students got placed through campus placements. The highest package offered is approximately 21 LPA, while the lowest package is around 3.5 LPA. The average package offered is in the range of 6 LPA to 7 LPA.
Faculty: Teachers at MBM University are helpful, well-qualified, and have good subject knowledge. They support students during exams and project work, but regular classroom teaching is often neglected. Many classes are irregular or canceled, which affects consistent learning. Students usually depend on self-study or an online platform. The 1st and 2nd semesters are very tough due to new subjects and lack of proper guidance. However, the remaining semesters are relatively easy to handle. With more focus on regular classes, the academic experience could be much better and more effective for students. Faculty members at MBM University are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive, especially during exams and project work. However, regular classes are often irregular or canceled, which affects consistent learning. Students usually rely on self-study or online resources. Overall, teachers have potential but need to focus more on structured teaching.
Other: There is no attendance issue in classes. Other activities are very high. Sports are at moderate level and have very high campus crowd. It is situated in the middle of the city.
