Our college provides moderate facilities which help students to qualify exams like JAM, UPSC, etc.

Placements: Many students got placed in our course. The average salary package offered ranges between 0.5 LPA to 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Java, Wipro, etc. Almost 50-60% of students got internships at TCS and Wipro. Top roles offered are manager, junior engineer, senior engineer, etc.

Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is available in this college. There is an e-library in this college. Laboratories are air-conditioned. Many computers are available in this college. Classrooms are equipped with whiteboards and air-conditioners. There is a huge library and several books are available. The hostel gets 3 stars. The food quality is decent. Free medical facilities are available. Sports are conducted in this college.

Faculty: Teachers are eminent. Few of them are doctorates. I would rate it 4 stars for teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant to make students ready for the industry. Semester exams are very difficult. The examination process is difficult.

Other: RKM and devotional-related events are conducted in this college.

It is the best college in Kolkata with best faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: There are only 12 students in the batch of the year 2021. The previous batch had 14 students. The cut-off of getting admitted to this college is to high. Only a few can get the opportunity to enroll. The fees of the course are very affordable. For our 1st semester, I paid Rs.32,400. This amount is constant for all departments of the 2021 batch. Most of the students are having scholarships so you can say how high graded they are. Internships are done by students individually via Internshala. The college is registered in Intersala as well. Our college NIRF rank is 21. So most of the passouts are doing very reputed jobs and mostly in governmental agencies.

Infrastructure: RKMRC is always in good books. It is a reputed government college, yet most funding comes from foreign since it's a religious institution as well. Hostel can be compared to a 4 star hotel. College is a Wi-Fi zone. There is no need to buy books because you will get them all for free in college library which you have to return after the course ends. Food is a bit awkward for me to eat rice in the morning at 9 o'clock but it's okay now. There is morning prayer at 6 o'clock, a tea time at 7'o clock and at 9:30 they will give you rice. There is a college canteen where you can order a lot of junk food (depends on you), at 4 o'clock they will give you a small tiffin. Mostly it will be samosa, puri, or parathas. Then there is evening prayer at 6'o clock. At night, at 9 o'clock dinner is served and it is now rice or roti. The breakfast and dinner have both vegetarian and non-vegetarian versions. Fish and egg are compulsory for both times, except on Friday when fish and chicken are served. For vegetarians, it's dal, paneer, or sometimes fried potato and milk or curd as the end of a meal. Speaking of curd, I tried once and it was magnificent. "Misti Doi" is one of Bengal's special curd. They make the best one I ever have.

Faculty: Teachers here are extremely educated. Our GE Maths teacher Prof. T Bhutia was a former student of IIT Delhi. Not only he but others as well. Vice-principal Maharaj, also the faculty head of the department of computer science was once a student of Oxford University. Speaking of exams, in total, we have 6 semesters, and 1 year has 2 semesters. There is the concept of mid-semesters as well. The college is under Calcutta University but it is autonomous. So, solving 10 years question paper at CU will not be helpful. Autonomous college makes their question paper, check them, and give marks on them as well. But the mark sheet will be leveled as the university it follows. Its system is just like St. Xavier College, Kolkata.

Other: The campus life is awesome. It's strictly a boy's college. The campus is not at all crowded. It's a huge campus and you can find it on Google maps. Tournament and competitions are something that is held throughout the year. Drama competition, cricket, football, debate, essay, and even now it's planning to organise its first MUN.

Moreover B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science offered at Ramakrishna Mission Residential College (RKMRC), Narendrapur has an almost annual tuition fee of INR 47,100. Extra costs as may be charged for and including laboratory fees and examination fees are reasonable and do not contradict the institutions
