MIT Institute of Design offers really good facilities and faculty to the students of our course.

Placements: MIT has good record for on-campus placements. Around 60–65% of the students gets successfully placed at the MIT institute of design in our course. average package offered at the college for our course was between 3 LPA and 8 LPA. The top recruiters at the college were Jio, Kotak Bank, Human X, Growth X, GAP, etc. The top roles offered was user experience designer, UX designer, Product designer, etc.

Infrastructure: MIT has very good infrastructure for the Bachelor of Design course. The campus of the college is pretty big and beautiful. The campus of the college is lush with greenery. College management offers facilities such as computer labs, libraries, canteens, Wi-Fi, sports, etc. that are properly maintained. The quality of these facilities is also good. Various necessary pieces of equipment were provided to make the students learning interactive. A hostel facility is also available for college students. The food in the mess and canteen is also good to eat.

Faculty: Teachers at MIT are highly qualified and knowledgeable. All the teachers have good experience in the teaching field. They are giving their best for the students. The course curriculum at MIT is relevant and it makes the students industry-ready. Teachers were also helpful and supportive of the students during placements. Exams were of a medium-difficult level in our course. Teachers organize various programs for the students knowledge development.

I am very satisfied with teachers, food, and hostel of this college.

Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 21 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 15 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, Disney, Samsung, Microsoft, and Inferno. Around 95% of students got internships in this course. Top roles offered are web designer, UI designer, UX designer, and graphic designer. Many students got internships in this course.

Infrastructure: All classrooms have Wi-Fi facilities. The library also has Wi-Fi facility. Hostel rooms are well-maintained. The food served in the mess is decent. Sports are conducted.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and helpful. Semester exams are easy. The course curriculum is great. Assessments are also conducted by teachers.

Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. There is no need for any improvement. Many events are held. Scholarships are provided to merit students. Extracurricular activities are also conducted in this college. Our campus life is great.

Amazing Campus Life, Great Infrastructure and Teaching.

Placements: The percentage placement of UXD Batch is relatively higher than any specialisation in MITID. Average Package was 4-6 Lacs whereas the highest package was about 54 Lacs and 36 Lacs, both of the students are working in Microsoft and Samsung respectively. Top recruiters include Microsoft, Apple, Samsung etc. The Roles offered are various types of UX Designers such as UX Researcher, Designer, UI UX Tester etc.

Infrastructure: It has an amazing infrastructure with hands on one of the best faculty members n Design. The courses have unique identified structure specially planned and discussed by the course faculty and mentors. Classrooms have good spaciousness and ventilation. Wi-Fi problems sometimes persist due to the heavy workload and programs. Hostels are fully furnished with wife and hot water facilities along with various other facilities available. Extra curricular activities are encouraged and given importance, teamplayers get 3% addition in their total marks report.

Faculty: Faculty is each qualified and fit for their own specialisations. HOD are accessible and very student friendly. Curriculum gets adjusted based on the latest students requirements and industry standards. The semester itself is a continuous evaluation process, assignments and developments are continuously checked and evaluated by given mentors. The jury is the final exam which comprised 20%of the total score.

Other: UXD Is the most In-Trend course, mainly because of its association with tech and growing demands of digitalisation. My course is unique and bridges a gap between creative learning, creativity along with studies. Things that could be improved in the course is the addition of more UI Elements. Events fests are a blast.

The infrastructure of our college is very good.

Placements: We have the highest placements, especially in UX design. The average salary package offered ranges from 4-6 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is around 15 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are IBM, Google and Microsoft. Students get internships in startups. Roles offered are in research, user interface design and user experience.

Infrastructure: We have studios. Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus, hostel and also computer labs with Wacom. The hostel remains very clean, and the rooms are good with attached bathrooms. Food is better than most of the hostels. The canteen is good and provides a variety of food items. The doctor remains in the hospital from 8 am to 8 pm, and there is a big hospital nearby. There are a lot of sports facilities too.

Faculty: Teachers are good, but there is a shortage of faculty members in UX. We have a lot of faculty members from the industry, and they provide very good insights. The curriculum is updated according to the trends, and students get ready to work in the industry by graduation.

Other: The best thing about UX is it is much required in every company. A huge fest is conducted here in which people are coming from various colleges.

Design Aptitude Test
Eligible candidates need to appear for the MIT Institute of Design-Design Aptitude Test (MITID DAT) conducted by the institute. NRI, PIO, OCI, FN and International students are exempted from (MITID DAT).
Studio Test and Personal Interview
Shortlisted candidates will be called for studio test and personal interview based on the score obtained in MIT Institute of Design-Design Aptitude Test (MITID DAT). NRI, PIO, OCI, FN and International students will be called a portfolio review and interview. The portfolio review and interview will be conducted through video conferencing.
Final Selection
Candidates are selected based on MIT Institute of Design-Design Aptitude Test (MITID DAT) and performance in studio test & personal interview. For NRI, PIO, OCI, FN and International students: Admission is based on the portfolio review and interview. Weightages- Design Aptitude Test- 25% Studio Test- 25% Personal Interview- 50%
