Overall, a good experience, but you have to work a bit hard.
Placements: In my course, i.e., ECE, the placement percentage is around 75% as per the 2024 stats. It is low, but it could also decrease in the coming years as the new dean is not very supportive of alumni. The top companies are Deloitte, Nvidia, Qualcomm, and Samsung R&D. The percentage of students getting internships is very low. The top roles are mainly in the tech sector.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostels are really good because it has everything except AC. Sometimes water can be a problem, but it is not a major issue that troubles you much. Labs, Wi-Fi, and classrooms are decent, but during high loads, they become faulty. The mess food is below average, like any NIT, but the sports facilities are good in every hostel.
Faculty: The curriculum is somewhat comparable to the traditional curriculum that our parents studied. But there have been some changes that make it a bit more interesting, with business-related subjects like entrepreneurship. However, the semester exams are very difficult for a person to score a 9–9.5 CGPA.
Other: Fests are the best part of college life. So are the people you spend time with throughout the day. The crowd here is decent. I chose this course because of its popularity, as ECE is emerging so well. The best thing about the ECE branch at MANIT Bhopal is that you don't get much time for distractions because the course is very hectic. The campus has good connectivity. There are many societies for extracurricular activities.

Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal: A reality check.
Placements: Last year, the ECE branch student placed about 75 to 78 percent. The placements are going very well so there are good chances to have a placement of more than 90 percent this year. The highest package is 56 LPA and the lowest is 8 LPA. The average package is around 15 LPA to 16 LPA. Recruiting companies include Qualcomm, Micron, Nvidia, Microsoft, and Qubit. The percentage of students who got an internship was a bit low but about 25 to 30 percent.
Infrastructure: We lack a dedicated building or department building for the ECE but a quite good place is arranged for it which is in the main building. Classrooms are average. The library is available along with Wi-Fi. Labs are good. The hostel is also good but that is not enough. It lacks some sort of facilities. Mess quality is good.
Faculty: Some teachers are just amazing in ECE but others are average or below that. The course curriculum is relevant but lacks some regularity. This doesn't make the students industry-ready in that way. Semester exams are really tough here. The pass percentage is about 70 to 80 percent.

Life at MANIT Bhopal is really fun and enthusiastic. It is a good place to learn many things.
Placements: As per the recent placements record, placement percentage is upto 90 percent, which is impressive. The highest package offered in my course is 82 LPA, and the average package ranges from 15-17 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, etc. The top roles offered in my course are software developer, AIML engineer, design engineer, etc. Overall, the placement record is quite impressive in MANIT Bhopal.
Infrastructure: In classrooms and the main building, the infrastructure is too good, especially the environment in the college is very pure. MANIT has a green, luscious, and peaceful campus. Plants and greenery are just amazing. Classrooms, labs, and a central library are also very well designed and convenient. There is a very good sports complex for all types of sports. There is a dispensary for medical purposes. There are 12 hostels, which are well-designed and beautifully represented, with each one having a mess, good rooms, and a canteen. The best part is that it has a night canteen.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good. The course curriculum is good. Semester exams are a little tougher comparatively, but they are also designed very well. The pass percentage varies from 40-50 percent, but it has a relatively grading system in the institute, which means marks are compared with the highest marks and a relative grading is given.
Other: I chose this college for good placements and the best campus life. The campus is green and luscious, which gives us a peaceful college life. The best thing about my course is that we can choose both hardware and software fields and can do our desired jobs. We can choose what we like. Fests held in the college are Maffick and E-Summit. I feel like there can be more fests to engage students. But more than this, the college will give us the best lifetime experience and good friends for our lives.

Good placements but not the infrastructure as we expected.
Placements: Around 95 percent of students were placed last year, with the highest package being 80 LPA and the median package 17 LPA in Electronics and Communication. The top recruiting companies are NVIDIA, Qualcomm, Google, Microsoft, Intel, and more. Most students not only go for core jobs but also choose the software side.
Infrastructure: Every alternate room has a balcony for better air and an open environment. Every room has Wi-Fi and LAN connection. Every hostel has a common hall consisting of a television. The infrastructure is vast but not as expected. Food is good for those who are from Bhopal, and it is generally satisfactory.
Faculty: The professors are highly educated and helpful. Exams are moderate to tough to build strong conceptual knowledge for a better future. Practicals are also conducted with correct observation from the faculty.
Other: We can enjoy campus life here with friends. The campus is big and easily accessible from the city.

The college has good placements but not the infrastructure.

Infrastructure: Every alternate room has a balcony and very clean bathrooms. Every room has Wi-Fi and LAN connection. There is a common hall for every hostel. The library has 30,000 books and is very peaceful. The food in the mess is tasty and hygienic. The infrastructure is very vast and good.
Faculty: Professors are highly educated and helpful. The exams are very tough and practical. The course teaches us about communication systems, embedded systems, VLSI, optoelectronic devices, etc. It makes the students very proficient in the curriculum and helps them achieve perfection.
Other: I enjoy campus life.

Good placements, but bad for ECE.
Placements: The placement percentage is impressive, with about 85 percent of the eligible students from the ECE course getting placed. Regarding the salaries, the range is quite wide, with the absolute highest package hitting 52.09 LPA. The most representative figure for the majority is the average package at 15.05 LPA, with the median package being very close to that, at 14.00 LPA. The lowest packages seen across the engineering stream typically start around 7.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the ECE course is not so good as the department doesn't have its own building. We use shared labs, and Wi-Fi is often slow. In contrast, the hostel facilities are quite good. The mess food is okay-okay, but the canteen is decent. The campus has excellent sports facilities.
Faculty: The faculty quality is mixed. Some are good, but some are not good teachers, though all are highly qualified. The biggest problem is that our course is so outdated. It focuses too much on old theory and does not make us industry-ready for today's market. We have to learn modern skills like competitive coding and AI independence. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage is generally high.
Other: I chose ECE mainly because I am getting this one, even though I originally wanted CS. Since Bhopal is close to my house, it was the best option available.

I am totally satisfied with the college.
Placements: 75% of students got placed with an average of 18.92 LPA, and the highest is 56 LPA, and the lowest is 7.5 LPA. The median package is 12 LPA, and there are companies like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, and also core companies like Nvidia, and many more. There are so many opportunities, it's up to you which ones you can grab. The placements are good.
Infrastructure:
There is a library with 1.75 lakhs of books, and the whole campus is a Wi-Fi zone, and there is a students' cooperative message, and nearby dispensary and hospital are also going to be built, and there are 8-9 canteens. Infrastructure is good, and an auditorium is going to be built with a capacity of 1000 students.
Faculty: Academic is good, but can't expect more from ECE. Professors are chill, so many societies, so join them and learn.

Don't worry, you will have fun, and it is chill and exploring college life, which you would like the most.

If you want to enjoy and study at the same time, then come to MANIT.
Placements: The placement at MANIT Bhopal is decent enough. The student who wants to get placed is getting placed, but the only thing you have to work on is your skills. If you work on your skills and do hard work. The highest package is 83 LPA. Roles offered are software engineer.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi available in our college except for a few areas like canteen, etc. There is high-speed Wi-Fi in the hostel, but with some sites banned. The food is just okay. At first, it is good, but with time, the quality of food keeps decreasing.
Faculty: Faculty are okay. The result takes a lot of time to come. Some of the faculty members are lenient, and some want word-for-word what they have taught in the class, and because of this, there is a decrease in CGPA. Some are like they taught nothing but want everything in paper.
Other: The fests are the best things that happen in college. The whole year you will hate college, but when it is the fest time, you will enjoy the most. In MANIT, there are plenty of fests like Maffic, Tooryanaad, Hindi fest, e-summit, etc.
