MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery - Batch of 2026

Everything is average except the faculty members and canteen.
Placements: Almost all students were placed. All the students who are passed from our college got internships in our hospital. A stipend for internship students is only Rs. 8,000 which is less when compared to other private medical colleges. There are 2 to 3 PG seats in the college for surgery, medicine, and orthopedics.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available only in the library. Labs are there for respective departments (eg:- biochemistry, physiology, anatomy, pathology, microbiology, etc.). There are a total of 5 lecture halls in the academic block of the college. The library is well-equipped with almost all the books needed in the medical profession. Hostel facilities are adequate. The quality of food in the mess is not that good but the food quality in the college canteen or cafe is really good and satisfactory. There are sports and arts events conducted in the college every year as a part of extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are helpful too whenever needed. The teaching quality is also good. The course is relevant and it makes the students industry-ready. We have yearly exams instead of semester exams. Exams conducted by the college have moderate difficulty. Our university is KUHS and the question papers are quite hard sometimes. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I belong to the 2021 batch of the college. Currently final year. I chose this course because of my passion for working in the medical field. This course shows us the suffering of people how to save the lives of people and how important the roles of doctors are in society. I wish for more seats are there of MBBS courses all over India. The internship salary should be increased in my opinion.

It has a good infrastructure and a good environment to study. It has good facilities.
Placements: In my course, 150 students enrolled during the time of admission. After the course, all students try to achieve a post-graduate degree which is an MD. Almost all students get internships after 4.5 years. The doctor profession itself is the top role offered.
Infrastructure: Our college is situated about 8 kilometers away from the town area. It consists of 5 buildings, an academic block, a hospital building, 2 men's hostels, and 2 women's hostels. The academic building consists of lecture halls which are equipped with the latest technological devices. On the further floor of the building, there is a library well-equipped with medical books that one wants. Unlimited Wi-Fi is also available during working hours. The hostel is near to the academic building and the food provided is average. The hospital has the latest advanced facilities each patient wants.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful in keeping us in the loop of the hectic subjects, and they help us to understand each of the topics well. Currently, the course curriculum as far as I am concerned is relevant because it includes all the necessary knowledge needed. Examinations are moderately difficult and are conducted every two months.
Other: I chose this course because since my childhood I have loved this course to treat people and free them from their pain. The college hosts different programs every month, and all students are active here.

Satisfied with this college. It has good faculty members.
Placements: My batch consists of 100 students. It has a total of 100 seats and all of them are filled during the admission procedure. Almost 95% of students get internships in the college. After graduation, all the students get placements in different hospitals, etc.
Infrastructure: There are 5 main buildings on the campus. Our college provides a well-equipped library and Wi-Fi availability. All the lecture halls are equipped with advanced technological gadgets. The hostel buildings are near the academic block and the food provided is of average quality. The college has different courts for each sport.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful. They help us in achieving good marks and make us understand the topics very well. The course curriculum offered is apt for the current syllabus. Exams are conducted every 2 months. Exams are moderately difficult and students who prepare for exams regularly can score good marks.
Other: I chose this course because, since my childhood, I have liked to work in the medical field. Moreover, this profession helps us to serve society at its best. Many events and programs are conducted in the college. Many extracurricular activities are also being conducted.

Amount Zion College Review.
Placements: MBBS is a course of 5.5 years duration, and the last 1 year is for an internship, where we work as interns in the same college hospital. We will get a stipend of not less than Rs 10,000 in our college. Hostel facilities are available for interns, but mess food is not provided.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious and air-conditioned. Hospital infrastructure has now been improved. The quality of facilities in the hostel is very poor. Food quality is of low standard and should be improved. Sports and other extracurricular activities are conducted every year.
Faculty: Almost all the teachers are experts and qualified. Most of them, not all, are helpful and guide us whenever needed. Every year, 2 internal exams and 1 model exam are conducted. Out of 100, you need to score a minimum of 40 marks (according to the university) to pass the exams. The level of difficulty is moderate, and you will be able to pass if you are well-prepared for the exam.
Other: The MBBS course offers numerous advantages, especially for those passionate about healthcare and patient care. After completing an MBBS degree, doctors can choose to practice in hospitals, private clinics, or specialize further in various branches like surgery, pediatrics, cardiology, and more. There is also a possibility to work internationally in various healthcare systems. There are enough extracurricular activities in the college, and most of the festivals are celebrated.

Satisfied with the college. Good placements and helpful faculty members. Good study environment.
Placements: My college consists of 100 students, and the course I study is MBBS. After the course, one shall opt for higher education or can work in a hospital. Almost 80 percent of the students get internships. One can achieve up to super specialty after MBBS and MD.
Infrastructure: My college consists of 5 buildings: an academic block, a hospital block, doctor's quarters, and two separate hostels for both boys and girls. The academic block consists of a well-maintained library having unlimited Wi-Fi facilities and having many medical books. 4 lecture halls are there, all fully air-conditioned and with sufficient lighting. All of them have smart boards and projectors in them. The hostel rooms are clean and well maintained. They are separate for both boys and girls. The mess hall is near to the hostel. The food quality is average.
Faculty: The teachers and faculty members are very helpful and cooperative. They help us in understanding the topics very well. As they also are doctors, they know about the subjects very well. According to me, the current curriculum is relevant, having all necessary information included in the syllabus. The exams are conducted yearly and are much more difficult to pass.
Other: I chose this course because it was my dream from high school to get into and work in the medical field. Also, it is a profession that demands respect in the society also.

Should choose if you are mainly focused on academics. But events and infrastructure are less.
Placements: Almost all students who completed the course were placed as interns for 1 year in the hospital with a stipend of around 10000. After completion, one may get appointed as a junior resident in the same college or other medical with a starting salary of around 20000 per month. The maximum salary offered is around 60000 per month in some private sectors. It's better to pursue specialization for better opportunities and a better salary.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hospital is pretty decent and it's developing at a fast rate. But the academic wing is pretty old-dated in terms of infrastructure and technologies used in the lecture hall. Lecture halls are air conditioned. The roof of lecture halls at the top level may leak during heavy rain. And during heavy rain, the faculty's voice is distorted and not clear.
Faculty: The teachers are extremely knowledgeable and have enough clinical exposure and clinical experience. Some of the teachers (one or two) are not so student-friendly. The curriculum is the same in all parts of the nation and I guess it makes us future-prepared. The curriculum is difficult and the pattern has also changed, which is also a bit more difficult than the previous pattern. Internals are of moderate toughness; sometimes the university exam is tougher than internals and at times it's easier than internals.
Other: The course is difficult to complete, but it's worth it if you came to do this off your own decision and not by others decision. Events and interactions with other students are pretty unique experiences. Be careful while choosing your friends.

I am disappointed by the infrastructure but faculty wise it’s pretty good.
Placements: There aren't any placements happening as this is a medical college and the same applies for recruiting companies. Students who manage to pass the final year exams are eligible for internships at the same college. The highest salary package offered is 1 crore.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very average. Labs, classrooms, etc are small but are enough to occupy 100 students. Hostel is also good. Cleaning services are there weekly. There are only two people in a room with an attached bathroom. Only the food is lacking and is a bland tasting. Often the students go outside and eat food
Faculty: Teachers at the college are well qualified to teach the subjects. They are very dedicated to their profession and students with very receptive to criticism. The curriculum is very relevant as it is a medical field. The knowledge acquired here may be a case of life and death for a patient. The semester exams are challenging as they give us university-level questions to solve. There has been a rise in the pass percentage in the last couple of years.
Other: I chose this course because this is what I have been interested in for a very long time. I feel like I can contribute more and also bring out my full potential in this field. Being able to help others is the best part of the course. Materials for studies should be made available for students for free because already the fees are high. If the study materials were free, it would be of great help. It would also produce more successful doctors. There are an adequate number of events at the college and we also have inter-college events.

Faculties should be more knowledgable
Placements: 100 students in our batch ,but in 2023 about 150 students were admitted.many of our seniors has got good placements in pg at various government medical colleges in kerala as well as outside kerala .one of our senior was a top rank holder under the KUHS.
Infrastructure: overall facilities of hostel are good, sometimes water is a problem during hot season , but it will be dealt with at the earliest, the area is somewhat intoo the town, sometimes people find it difficult to reach here ..so many of the prefer to go hospitala at town , recently patiens are more at our hospital .
Faculty: departments have doctors who are helpful and knowleadgable ,teaching quality is average..most of them adapt method of taking seminar by students as a way of teaching which further add students to take up efforts in presentation.Teachers are okay and helpful.
Other: Sress is a problem of many medicos so there should be something to reduce tension and stress among students.
