B.Tech. in Mechatronics Engineering - Batch of 2021

The college really encourages batchmates and seniors interactions.
Placements: The process of placement is quite smooth and excellent. As it provides through internship, then selection. The average student gets a 2.5 LPA starting package after completion of B.Com. And the work quality is also excellent. Internships are offered for SDE and non-tech and core and managerial roles for 2nd and 3rd year students.
Infrastructure: The college is very supportive of social interaction between peers and seniors, and a lot of subcommittees are present under the umbrella psychology committee of the psychology department. Mental Illness Awareness Week, Suicide Prevention Day, TedXNMIMS, Psych Film Fest, etc. are the few events organized by the department. These events offer each and every student to be a part, whether they are a part of the committee or not, and involvement in these also has marks, making it more encouraging for students to participate. There is also a sports committee organizing many sports events promoting the significance of sports for physical health. The libraries have all the resource books that the students need, and there are enough study areas too.
Faculty: Professor-to-student ratio is 1:50, where teachers are approachable. Some of the brilliant faculties are due to their brilliant communication skills. The testing schedule includes a mini-test, mid-semester and end-of-semester exams, assignments, lab work, and a viva.

It does not have good faculty members, but placements are 100% guaranteed here.
Placements: Almost 100% of students get placements from the college. All types of companies visit the college for placements. You will not feel disappointed after the placements as the salary offered is good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, but it could have been better as the fee it charges is 3 LPA for a B.Tech course. After taking full fees during the lockdown, the only thing that the college changed was the lights.
Faculty: Our college does not have great faculty members. It has a good syllabus. Exams are very strict. Attendance is very important in the college as it is a part of NMIMS University. Teachers are very qualified but cannot teach well. There are a lot of subjects that are irrelevant to engineering.
Other: There are a lot of options for extracurricular activities.

Our college provides updated course curriculum.
Placements: Internships and placement opportunities have been good in the past few years. The treats are going high with an average salary package of 5 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 4.75 LPA for students passing in 2019-2020. Many students got pre-placement offers too.
Infrastructure: Our college has modern infrastructure and equipment in labs and classrooms. Classrooms have smart boards which make the learning simpler. Food served in the canteen is good and hygienic. The college is equipped with Wi-Fi. The library and canteen timings are quite flexible.
Faculty: All the faculty members are well qualified as well as helpful. The teaching quality is up to the mark. The course curriculum is updated from time to time and is relevant to the industry. NMIMS offers various modern-industry related courses such as AI, mechatronics, and data science.
Other: Various fests are held throughout the year. Everyone on the campus is friendly. NMIMS is one of the few universities offering B. Tech mechatronics course.

Honest Review of Mukesh Patel Engineering College.
Placements: Placements are not good. Placement committee is not good. Placement coordinators are very rude. College does't care for the placements neither does the placement cell. The members of the placement committee are very arrogant. No good company comes for placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the only one thing which is good. Toilets are clean and well maintained. Classrooms have air conditioners which work properly. Benches are proper and well maintained. If anything breakes, it is quickly fixed. There are projectors in every classroom.
Faculty: 7 out of every 10 faculty is good and well versed with their subject. Some faculty members are there who are useless and know nothing about the subject or how to teach but every institute has that problem. But here if a faculty dosen't teach properly, the faculty is changed insatntly.

Review of MPSTME by a former student.
Placements: Placements depend upon the gpa a student gets till his 3rd year. Companies like Infosys and Larsen and Toubro come for placements. Minimum package is 3 Lacs and can go upto 36 Lacs. Placement coordinators are very strict and rude. As a student you are not respected by the coordinators. Students are segregated according to their gpa.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the best like a 5 star hotel. Everything is systematic and clean. Toilets are clean. Staff and faculty are polite and helpful. No ragging and security for students is tight. Canteen is always overcrowded as food is very delicious. The kitchen is clean and food is freshly made.
Faculty: Faculty is friendly, polite and helpful to students. Very talented and intelligent faculty. Faculry knows the course subjects very well. Well versed with the course subject. Course curriculum is very good. Practicals are done every once in a week for all the course subjects.
Other: Overall the college is perfect for engineering as it has a gpa out of 4 which is international standard. It is a deemed university. It comes under top 5 engineering colleges in Mumbai with the best faculty, infrastructure and labs for projects. Fests are not that good as the university focuses more on the studies and performance of the students.

The institute is awesome with an awesome crowd.
Placements: The placement cell of the college is co-operative. They are trying their best for helping the students. But as per the market condition, the companies coming for the placement are majorly IT companies. A few core companies are visiting the campus, and also there is nothing called as 100% placement. In my batch, at least from the mechatronics department, only 10% of the students got placed. Otherwise, if you are looking for only IT perspective, then the placements are good. I don't remember the company's name, but a few Japanese companies came, whose package was high up to 30-40 lacks per annum. Talking about the mass recruiters, mostly their package varies around 3.5 to 4 lacs per annum. The companies coming for the mass recruiters are Accenture, Infosys, IBM, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is awesome. There is every facility on the campus, The food at the canteen is delicious and cheap. Lab if you see, apart from the mechanical workshop, every lab are perfect. The mechanical workshop is comparatively little outdated. Some machines are not in proper working condition. The sports in the college does not have any ground or open space, so this is the negative point.
Faculty: The faculty members are supportive. As this is a deemed university, they try to keep the syllabus as the latest as possible. As compared to the Mumbai University, the subjects and the syllabus of NMIMS is simple and effective. The syllabus is structured so as it is simpler to understand and to score high, but at the same time, they ensure that it covers maximum important aspects of the field.

Overall the college is good but needs more improvement in terms of teaching. I would rate it 6/10.
Placements: Placement companies do come for placements but 9 out of 10 companies are from IT field, so even sometimes a mechanical student ends up getting a placement in IT field. The package provided is around 3-4 lakhs per annum for B. Tech and 6-7 lakhs for M. Tech.
Infrastructure: Since it comes under NMIMS University, the infrastructure is very good. The classrooms, with all the interiors, are up to the mark with fully centralized air-conditioners. There is no space in the canteen in peak hours due to which there are many problems faced as there is very less space around the canteen. The hostel looks very bad from the outside but don't know about the inside story as I have never been to the hostel. Overall, I would rate it 7/10 for infrastructure.
Faculty: In comparison to the fees being paid to this college, mark .the faculty is not up to the mark. If there are 6 subjects in a semester, only 2-3 subject teachers would be good and rest would be average. There are 60 students in a class. Many teachers are very qualified but some of them do not have very good teaching skills. The course curriculum is good. It covers almost each and every topic under your stream but the portion is a little vast.
Other: The college festivals are very good and there are many committees in this college for a student to showcase his skills and learn something new from these committees. The exposure and the knowledge through these college activities are amazing. The only issue with this college is about the attendance. There are many sports activities also that takes place between different streams so that a student can showcase his sports talent as well.

Hello, For admission in NMIMS or any best engineering college, your eligibility is that you must passed your 10+2 with 60 % marks or more. But, admission is based on entrance exam and your rank and cutoff also matter in that.
