NIELIT Imphal Highlights 2025
NIELIT Imphal (erstwhile CEDT/ CEDTI/ DOEACC) became functional in 1989 with the introduction of the three-year diploma in Electronics Engineering course. There are two extension centres of NIELIT Imphal in the Churachandpur and Senapati Districts of Manipur. With the aim of participating in nation-building, the college conducts long-term and short-term skill development courses in the fields of Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Information Technology. Some of the courses provided by the college are even AICTE-approved. The college is known to offer formal, non-formal, customised, short-term, and other courses to students. These courses are provided across the Computer Application, IT, and various other streams.
NIELIT Imphal flagship courses provided by the college are BCA, certificate, diploma, and other courses. The college has a state-of-the-art infrastructure with multiple facilities available in the institute. Over the years, the college has trained more than 4,000 students in formal university-affiliated courses, more than 50,000 candidates in several short-term courses, and more than 6,500 students in non-formal NIELIT courses.
