This is the best campus ever.
Placements: NIFT is providing good placements; in the past, they have also provided good placements. At Nift Kannur, we will get placements, but not for every student, and we will get a chance to work with a designer. In Nift Kannur, you can explore the companies and the job offers they are making.
Infrastructure: Our campus has a huge setup of Wi-Fi, and the campus also has the best facilities, but boys don't have hostels. The classes and campus are neat and clean, and the resource center has a collection of books. And the infrastructural structure of the campus is very nice; it's unique compared to the other campuses.
Faculty: The best area is that there are more practical classes, so it's very interesting, and the faculty are also good for teaching, and the lessons they are giving are also getting proper attention. And we have jury exams that are divided into three parts: midterm, end term, and final.
Other: I am in the 2021–25 batch of knitwear designers. Basically, we are learning everything about knitwear.

Our college has good infrastructure and the fee structure is a little high.
Placements: About 99% of students got placements. I don't know much about the average salary package offered. We can get so many designing companies. Nike and Lifestyle are some of them. Everyone in our college gets internships as it is compulsory for us. The roles offered are as designers, graphic designer, garment constructing, stylist, etc.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi in our college as well as in the hostel and other labs for every department For the knitwear department, we have a garment construction lab, a pattern-making lab, and a hand flat knitting lab. The quality of the facility is also good. There are different types and enough machines in the lab. We have food in our mess which offers good food that is suitable for north and south Indian people. We have a basketball and volleyball court. There is a doctor at the college on Wednesdays. Our college has all clubs.
Faculty: Teachers teach well and are very friendly. They give us practical and theoretical knowledge by making us practice everything and presentations. The curriculum definetly makes us industry-ready. We have all kinds of such facilities in the college. The semester exams are mostly jury. We have to present our work to the jury members and also exams for theory subjects. The pass percentage is 50% and 14 marks by 40 for the jury.

Faculty: The teachers here are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is excellent. This course is curriculum-relevant, and this makes students industry-ready. Semester exams in this college are of intermediate level. The pass percentage is 100%.
Other: I was destined to study this course. We get more ideas, and it changes our lives. Wi-Fi quality should be improved a bit. Sports day, arts day, freshers day, new year eve, Christmas celebration and Onam celebration are the main events organised here.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Almost 70% of the students get placed from all departments. I am not sure about the salary package offered. The companies recruiting depends on applications from the students. Mostly MNCs and design houses related companies recruit. Top roles offered are head designer, assistant designer, print developer and textile head designer. Almost 90% of the students got an internship in MNCs and design houses related companies, which depends on applications.
Infrastructure: There is a garment construction lab in the college. There is a Wi-Fi facility in the college. There are classrooms in the college. There are MAC lab, computer lab, CAD lab, resource centre, club rooms, auditorium, faculty cabins, audiovisual rooms, seminar halls, systems and technical room, cafeteria facilities in the college. Faculty: Faculty here are experts in the field they teach and experienced in top companies. The course curriculum is relevant, but it has changed into a newer syllabus now including new subjects like theatre, nature walk, photography, dance and more. It makes the students industry-ready.
Other: The college conducts flagship course of NIFT, understanding of culture art and futuristic elements. It provides more exposure to companies and fashion events. The college also conducts multiple events and excellent festivals.

    Good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Placement percentage was 100% for my senior batch and the average package offered was 60,000/- Students are facilitated with options to attend interviews from other NIFT centres as well. For fashion design department, stipends are rarely given and that purely depends upon the company. Students are required to do an eight weeks internship (June-July) right after the completion of the sixth semester.
Infrastructure: The campus has Wi-Fi but works best near the Resource Centre and in the computer labs. There are seperate PM, GC, CAD labs for all the departments and additional labs according to the department requirement like photography studio, weaving lab, print/dye lab, etc. There is a library with all kinds of books that help in research and reference and the computers have access to WGSN website as well. Various magazines, newspapers and also Promostyle is available in th RC. There is an auditorium with centralised A/C and the girls' hostel is within the campus premises. All the computer labs are air conditioned and the classrooms are big enough to accommodate more than 50 students. Canteen has very less range of eatables, Maggie and Kubboos-chicken being the favourites. Hostel rooms are big, with three students per room, two fans, tubelights, tables, chairs, three cots, cupboards and one long mirror. The corridors and washrooms are cleaned daily by the cleaning staff. Apart from mess and Wi-Fi there is washing machine (currently one working) for all the hostelers in the terrace. I did not face any difficulty regarding the infrastructure till now in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and helpful. At present there are only three faculty members and one assistant in the Fashion Design department. All the teachers are approachable and the way of teaching is quite involving and helps the students develop their own creativity and personality. There are 30-35 students in every batch. Every year students go for Industry visits to Tiruppur, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Wayanad, etc. And get to study and learn the processes more closely. The course curriculum was really helpful with even Research Methods and Manufacturing Process as subjects to enhance our understanding about Research and Manufacture.
Other: Events conducted include: Spectrum (Inter-department), Tarang (Inter-College). Various art and craft exhibitions are also conducted to showcase the students' talents. There is also an Instagaram handle for Nift Kannur. All the government aided scholarships are available and the Scholarships department helps to easily get access to these scholarships. Other than the various inter college fests, students also get chance to volunteer for various brand product shows and launches and Designers' meets.

A good place for learner's to learn the process, technologies from past till present, various culture
Placements: The placement was proper and selectively done as per the department or knowledge gained. The placement percentage is almost 75%, & few rejected the offers because of less the less package offered. The highest package offered was 6-7 LPA, and nearly 2 LPA was the lowest paid, and the average package was 3 to 4 LPA offered. The companies like Raymond, Reliance, Fab India, and other startup companies related to Textile, art and craft. The roles of textile designers are like the print designer, handloom designer, designers based on traditional textile explorer, merchandisers, etc. Most of the students got the internship by the college itself because of having an excellent knowledgable RIC on the campus, and the internship offered was 4-5k per month was maximum stipend and average. It is almost the same, but most of the students got the internship with no stipend provided by company or brand.
Infrastructure: Most of the requirements are easily accessible and on time. The necessities like free Wi-Fi all over the campus building, labs, libraries, classrooms, computer labs etc. was easily accessible and available till 6 pm which is sufficient for a student to get acknowledged. Due to other student's mischevious habits, I use to suffer from not Getting permission for the computer labs, CAD labs etc.
Faculty: It is the student who has to learn not the faculty, so I always been in contact with faculty in class & as well as through social media like Facebook and WhatsApp. Their methods of teaching were experiencing and easy. The ratio of student to faculty was like 100:20. Since the campus is situated in the industrial area, so mostly I got time to get industry exposure like a visit to CCRI, chiral weaving industry, Kerala handloom and some other textile processing units. It was a great experience for me because of the curriculum I came through the step by step knowledge of any industrial process and their setup.
Other: The campus facilities and culture of the citizens were deciding, the way of talking was so cool. Since Kerala has always been known for its literacy, that's why I choose to go there and successfully I have learned English speaking and many more things. The college people are friendly, and ready to cultural exchangeability behaviour. The security for students receding inside the hostel is good. Better, clean food and water facility is there. Elevators are available for disable students. Many cultural activities keep going on for the entertainment of students. There were good rooms, washrooms, and playground facilities with indoor and outdoor games. The hostel facilities and it's timing of entry and exit made me" to do my work of outside on time". Hostel with nice interiors and garden make feel like home. There are many natural tourist attractions within the range of 50-90 Kms from the college campus which made our holidays better. Gets an opportunity to move around places with historical knowledge and memories, etc.
