Review of Netaji Subhas University of Technology.

Placements: Our college provides good internships. Training and placement cell is active. Many core companies visit our college to hire students. The average salary package offered ranges from 8 LPA - 9 LPA.

Infrastructure: Laboratory is average. labs yet built. Hostel facilities are not provided. Air-conditioners are also available in our classrooms.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified from NIFT, etc. Few teachers are not specialised in the product design field. There is no guidance if we want to pursue the product design field, and students have to learn everything on their own. Everything is in the development phase in our college.

Other: Our course curriculum is very interesting as one will learn everything from financial literacy to drone design in 4 years. Several events are conducted in our college. Extracurricular activities are also organised in our college.

Solid placement opportunities and great campus life for design students.

Placements: Placements for B. Des at NSUT are quite good because we share the campus with teach companies. The average package is around 15 LPA, and top roles include UI/UX designer and product design intern. Around 85% of students get placed easily, and many grab internships by the third year.

Infrastructure: The design department infrastructure is modern with SMART classrooms, proper labs, and good Wi-Fi. The library has plenty of resources. Hostel rooms are clean and spacious. The mess food is average, but the campus canteen is great and provides cheap food options.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and very supportive, though strict about attendance. The product design curriculum is highly practical and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate, and the overall pass percentage is high at around 90%. .

Other: I chose this course for the NSUT brand name and teach-driven design opportunities. The best thing is the cross-collaboration with engineering students for UI/UX projects. Campus life is amazing with great fests, though they could add more advanced prototyping labs.

Candidates have to apply for JEE Main for NSUT BTech programme. Once the results are out, aspirants need to fill out the JAC Delhi form. The seats in BTech are allotted via JAC Delhi Counselling based on JEE Main rank of the candidates. They do not have to apply on the official website of NSUT.
