B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2027
3.8
4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
It has good campus life, helpful teachers, and decent placements.
Placements: Placements are excellent for CS, IT, and electronics branches. Around 80-90 percent of students got placed through campus drives. The average package offered is around 17 LPA, and the highest package offered is 85 LPA, depending on the batch. Top recruiting companies for our course include Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Salesforce, and SLB. Many students also get opportunities in core and non-tech roles. Internship opportunities are strong with good support from the placement cell.
Infrastructure: The hostel quality is really good. However, the mess food is not tasty or hygienic. The central canteen is present, and we will find almost all types of eateries there. High-speed Wi-Fi is present at every location on the campus. There are all smart classrooms with air-conditioners. Medical facilities are also present on the campus, and they are free of cost. For almost every sport, there is a facility out there, be it cricket, table tennis, badminton, football, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified, supportive, and have strong subject knowledge. Teaching quality is good, and most teachers explain concepts clearly with practical examples. The course curriculum is updated and relevant to current industry requirements, especially for CS/IT and electronics. It helps students become job-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult. With regular study, it is easy to score well. The overall pass percentage is also very good.

B.Tech. in Information Technology - Batch of 2029

The college has good infrastructure and a good placement history, mainly for the tech branches.
Placements: Placements are great, with a placement ratio of above 85 percent. The average package is around 21 LPA for its branch. Almost every company comes here for placement, including FAANG. Internship data is not so good, but students with a good CGPA gets internship. The highest package for both CSE and its branches are same, and it is 72 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, specially 1st year classrooms are amazing and the overall location of the college is so good. Hostels are average and only available for students outside Delhi. The food quality is also average. Hostel rooms are good compared to many government engineering colleges. Most of the rooms are single bed, so it's a plus point.
Faculty: Most of the faculty are talented, but there are some faculty members who are not good. The course curriculum is outdated, as is most of the government engineering college. Exams are difficult, but if you study, you can score 9+ CGPA, which is a very big thing. The course curriculum makes the students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this college due to its placement data and its location in Delhi. Events and festivals are held regularly, and you will experience a lot of extracurricular activities on campus. Connectivity is also so good that the nearest metro station is Dwarka Mor, which is around 700 metres from the college.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2028

Placements are good, and teachers are well qualified.
Placements: You can check the states on the official website, too, although we get a ton of opportunities regarding internships and placements, various FAANG companies visit the campus from time to time. Uber, Algo University, and Flipkart have been actively providing internships to the students of the second year.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is okayish, with a variety of food items as well as basic facilities. Mess and canteen foods are also okayish, on some days it is good, on a few days it is just bearable. Wi-Fi connectivity is good in the entire college, and hygiene is also maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well qualified, they know their subjects to the depth. A few courses have a comparatively tough syllabus, and you have to go rigorously through the course, otherwise its not that tough to pass, it just needs consistent efforts and willingness to gain knowledge.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2029

I think overall the college is good; there are fewer canteens.
Placements: Placements are good. For top branches like CSE and ECE, it’s almost 90 percent, and for lower branches it is around 70–80 percent. In Mechanical Engineering, mostly non-tech companies hire. The median package of NSUT is around 16 LPA, and the highest goes up to around 80 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good but not excellent. There is everything like a gym and sports complex, but the gym infrastructure is good while it is mostly closed. There are no sports equipment to use, and we have to buy them on our own. Wi-Fi is not up to the mark, and water quality is very bad in the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are very well qualified but are not able to make us understand, and it is very hard to score here. Teachers don’t give marks easily, checking is tough. To get an 8 CGPA, you have to work harder than in any other colleges. The average CGPA for my branch is around 6, and it’s difficult to score marks in my college.
Other: I chose this career option because I am confident about the college and I love doing Mechanical Engineering.

Fairly good, tier 1 college and placements are also good, infrastructure is not that good.
Placements: The placements are good here, especially for Computer Science branch. Many companies like Google, Microsoft, Apple, and many Fintech like Goldman Sachs also come here. The average package is also good here, around 30 LPA. Mass recruiters also come and take students in bulk.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for Computer Science branch is good. smart boards, projectors, and APJ complex are amazing for 1st year only. Also Wi-Fi everywhere. Library is also good, but timing can be improved. Dedicated running track in sports complex. Hostels are average. Food is good, but AC is not there in boys hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are like typical government employees. Although good curriculum, they teach Python language in 1st year (earlier they used to teach C). Examination pattern is also okay. Make-up examinations are also there in case of medical or other emergencies.
Other: Campus is very green and crowd is also decent.

B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2029
3.2
4Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
This college is a type of school.
Placements: For EE, it is around 60% placement. The median package offer is 12 LPA. You will find good software opportunities (tech roles). Core competencies are also coming this year, and they give you a good package for electrical instrumentation, electronics, and communication branches.
Infrastructure: You will face issues with drinking water. You have to invest in drinking water, and the hostel doesn't justify the price. Mess is compulsory, and you cannot skip. It will charge you Rs. 23,000 per semester, which is not justified for the quality of food they are giving. The menu is terrible for some days.
Faculty: Some faculty members are very good, and others are average. You will face issues with attendance if you are not regular. You will find some chill professors who will give you attendance and marks. But some of them have decided that they will not give you marks.
Other: College is increasing its fees like a greedy person. Crowd in the top branches is good, but in the middle branches, it's full of reservations. Hence, it dilutes the 85% crowd.

No, CMAT scores are not compulsory for admissions into the MBA course at NSUT. Even CMAT scores are not the first priority of the admission committee to shortlist the students. Because the university considers the scores of CAT/ MAT for selecting the students. If the seats get vacant, then only CMAT

You cannot get admissions into BTech CSE course at NSUT without JEE Mains scores. Because the JEE Mains scores are necessary for admissions to NSUT undergraduate engineering courses. Thus, one can only enroll in the programme if they have valid scores in the entrance examination.
