IPU MBA Eligibility & Highlights 2026
IPU MBA programme is offered across different specialisations. For a GGSIPU MBA in IT admission, IPU conducts IPU CET, followed by a University-level counselling process. For remaining specialisations, admissions are accepted based on a candidate's CAT score. However, if the seats remain vacant after counselling based on the CAT score, then counselling is conducted based on the CMAT score. In case of seats remain vacant, IPU conducts a Common Entrance Test (CET) for IPU MBA admissions.
The University shall conduct admissions in regular MBA programmes in the University School of Management Studies and affiliated institutes. All the specialisations offered under the IPU MBA course along with their eligibility criteria are given below:

No, CAT is not the only exam based on which admission is granted. GGSIPU accepts the CAT percentile for MBA admission basis on which a merit list of selected candidates is released for the counselling round. Moreover, for the MBA in IT course, the university conducted IPU CET exam is accepted. In case the seats are left vacant after CAT candidates, then the seat allotment is carried out based on the candidate's CMAT scores.
Yes, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts a Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to BSc, BCA, BCom (Hons), B.Ed, BA (JMC), BHMCT, BBA, BA (Hons), BVoc, BPT, BPO, BOT, BASLP, BSc MLT, MSc, MA, MEd, MPT, MOT and MPO courses. IPU MBA Admission Dates 2026
GGSIPU MBA admission cycle commences with the release of the application form. Candidates seeking admission should keep themselves updated with the schedule of accepted exams as well. The registration process is generally carried out from Feb to Apr month of the academic year. It is however as per the past years' data and hence, is indicative. Yes, GGSIPU accepts CUET scores. For UG courses, CUET-UG and similarly for the PG courses, CUET-PG is applicable. However, it must be noted that preference is given to CUET scores after the respective national-level exams and the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the university. Some of the UG and PG programmes for which this entrance score is accepted are MCA, MA, BSc, BBA and allied programmes, BPharm, BCom (Hons), etc.
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University's annual hostel cost is INR 29,500. Mess and welfare fees are not included in the hostel fees. The fee for the mess is INR 36,000, while the cost of the welfare is INR 3,000. Candidates need to submit three demand drafts: one for hostel fees, one for mess charges, and one for welfare charges. Two hostels are maintained on campus for male students, and two are maintained for female students. There are more than 180 single-seat rooms in each hostel. Basic furnishings such as a cot, mattress, pillow, chair, table, cupboard, tube lamp, and fan are provided in each room. Mess facilities are available for residents in each hostel. Residents also have access to a common area, a gym, a reading room, and sports facilities. For the hostels, there is a provision for 24-hour water and electrical services.

IPU MBA Admission 2026: How to apply?
GGSIPU MBA course admission is entrance-based. The descriptive- IPU admission criteria for the PG course is further explained below:
1: IPU MBA Application Process 2025
1.1: Go to the website of the GGSIPU, i.e., ipu.ac.in.
1.2: Fill out the application form.

GGSIPU offers admission in MBA courses based on scores of candidates in CAT, CMAT, CET or CUET-PG. Aspirants with valid score have to participate in selection rounds and university-level counselling. Selected candidates need to report at the campus for document verification and fee payment.
The total tuition fees for MBA is INR 1.5 lakh - 4.4 lakh. This fee range includes MBA course fees at several IPU colleges. Total course fee is total of multiple components such as tuition fee, library fee, registration fee, security deposit etc.
CAT application process for the current year has already been concluded. The exam has also been conducted. The results and answer key are expected to be released at the iimcat.ac.in website. The CAT 2026 registration dates are not announced yet.

Students will need to complete two internships during their BCom curriculum of GGSIPU.
However, candidates should try to pursue more internships if possible. This will help them with a better portfolio after graduation from GGSIPU BCom course.

GGSIPU BCom fees is refunded to candidates if they choose to cancel their admission. However, these refunds are offered on UGC norm basis. These norms allow candidates to receive a percentage of fees paid in refunds which are based on how early the admission is cancelled.
