- Registrations for the MAT 2026 September session are ongoing for the MBA programme. Students can register for the PBT exam mode by Sep 7, 2026, for the Sep 13, 2026, exam. For the CBT mode, the registration deadline is Sept 14, 2026, for the Sep 20, 2026 exam.
NSUT MBA Eligibility & Highlights 2026
MBA at NSUT is offered through the Department of Management studies. MBA is a two-year postgraduate degree programme, spread across four semesters, and offered in full-time mode. Also, the university offers two-year full-time MBA (IEV), i.e. MBA in Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Venture Development. The eligibility requirements for NSUT MBA admissions are as follows:
Eligibility: UG degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate (50% for reserved categories).
Selection: CAT/ MAT scores + PI. In case, if seats remain vacant CMAC may propose another criterion like CUET/ CMAT/ any other criteria.
The weightage that is given to the different parameters for selecting the students for NSUT MBA are as follows:

The allocation of NSUT MBA seats is subject to rules of reservation followed by the university. As per the reservation policy, 15% of the seats are reserved for SC students. 7.5% of seats are reserved for admission of ST students. 27% of the total seats are reserved for Other Backward Class (non-Creamy Layer) candidates, and 10% of the total seats are reserved for EWS category. No, CMAT scores are not compulsory for admissions into the MBA course at NSUT. Even CMAT scores are not the first priority of the admission committee to shortlist the students. Because the university considers the scores of CAT/ MAT for selecting the students. If the seats get vacant, then only CMAT is considered.
NSUT gives 10% weightage in total to choose MBA students. The weightage of work experience marks for admissions into MBA course are:
