Good college, but the fees are a little bit high.
Placements: If you have maintained a CGPA above 8, there will be no problem in placement. The highest package of the year 2025 is 120 LPA, and 2 students received this package. The average for CSE is 24 LPA, and the median is 18 LPA. The overall average is 18.75 LPA, and the overall median is 15 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. APJ classrooms are well designed, and seats are comfortable in fully AC classrooms with high-speed Wi-Fi. The main problem is that they have not utilized the space on the campus. I don't know much about hostels, as I am a day scholar.
Faculty: Some professors are really good at teaching, and some are just doing their job. Maths professors at NSUT are the best, they do lenient checking. If you have studied well, you will get good marks. If you have attended the classes, it will be easy for you to gain marks. As there is relative grading in the maximum subject, you can end up with a good CGPA.

NSUT, My experience as a CS undergrad.
Placements: CS undergrad, a plethora of companies come in. Percentage varies yearly, usually stands at 75% for CS branches. Top companies include Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Qualcomm, Cisco, Rippling, etc. SDE roles, Data Analyst, SWE, AI engineering for Tech Analyst, PM, Investment roles for non-tech.
Infrastructure: Library timings are underwhelming for anyone wanting to stay on campus and work. Labs within the electrical paradigm are under-equipped, whereas the CS ones get you by. The number of canteens is few. Hostels are alright, spacious rooms. Water will make you sick, however.
Faculty: Professors are quite competent for the most part, PPT reading NPCs who couldn't give a damn. Though, there are a few who are fantastic and congenial. The course curriculum is highly relevant and updated to what's necessary right now. Exams aren't difficult per se; grading is above medium difficult, and you'll have to put in some hours to get an above-average GPA.
Other: Chose NSUT CSE over DTU IT, MNNIT A CSE, and a few other options; I would've gone for DTU COE/IT due to the easier grading and equal opportunities. DTU is also a bit more liberal within their operation. Events are great. The annual fest has a huge footfall. Campus is really, really green. Almost too green. Extracurriculars are also great, tons of clubs. Things that could improve - more canteens, better hostels and MORE hostels, better classrooms within block 6 and 4, better walkways, hiring better faculty members.

Is NSUT worth it in 2025?
Placements: Top branches like CSAI and CSE have 20+ LPA average package, and the highest package lies in the range of 80-90 LPA. The top company is Apple, and the role is SDE. About 90% students get placed in top branches, but placements in lower branches remain stagnant, but still above average.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is above average, I would say. Everything works fine, but not a lot of places of great architecture like DTU. Classrooms are of top quality with digital boards and comfortable seats. Hostels are also comfortable. Mess food is average, but canteen food is good. We have a small hospital was urgent attention and works fine. The sports ground is also good and spreads over 30 acres. Games like basketball, volleyball, badminton, football, cricket, and table tennis can be easily played.
Faculty: Faculty of NSUT is well educated, most of our professors have done their PhDs from IITs and know the subject they teach. Course curriculum is, I would say, relevant to courses like AI, ML, DS, quantum physics, etc. Semester exams are quite difficult but not impossible. The pass percentage is about 85%.
Other: I chose CSAI because I believe the future will be driven by artificial intelligence, and to learn that would be beneficial. Things that can be improved are making attendance not mandatory, making a good timetable, and having fewer classes per day. Events in our college like Moksha, Innovision, etc., are top of the line and considered better than the fests of IIT Delhi infact.

It has good placements and an average college life.
Placements: Approximately 80% students are placed in B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. FAANG and top MNCs visit for the on-campus placement drive. Top MNCs offer mainly a software development engineer role. Some other companies offer roles like web developer, data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: The overall college infrastructure is well and good. Whole campus is facilitated with Wi-Fi at every corners. Almost all the classes are air-conditioned and have smart boards. Power sockets are provided for each student below their seat in the classroom. The campus has a medical clinic. For sports, it has a synthetic athletic track, basketball court, badminton court, tennis court, volleyball court, futsal ground, and cricket ground.
Faculty: The quality of teaching of some faculty members is very good, but maximum fails at this. In a semester 2 class, tests, mid-semester, and end-of-semester exams are conducted. Lab practicals are also evaluated separately. Scoring and getting a good CGPA is a bit difficult in NSUT due to the limited facilities.

NSUT has good academics, placements & vibe, but labs and hands-on learning need work.
Placements: About 67% of CSE/CSAI students got placed. The highest package was 1 crore, the lowest offers in CSE typically around 5-6 LPA, and the average package is about 23-25 LPA. Top recruiters are Google (Software Engineer), among others like Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, and Flipkart. 15-20% of CSE students interned on campus, landing roles at Google, Expedia, Atlassian, etc. Top roles offered are software engineer/developer, data scientist, analyst, business analyst, and product roles.
Infrastructure: At NSUT, CSAI students get pretty good facilities. Wi-Fi works well across campus, classrooms are modern, and labs have all the tools you need. The library is quiet and great for studying. Hostels are clean and comfortable, though the mess food is just okay, not bad, not great. Canteens serve tasty snacks and meals, but they can get crowded. There’s a medical room with 24/7 care in case you fall sick. If you love sports, you’ll find everything from football and basketball to gym and table tennis. It’s a great place to live, study, and have fun.
Faculty: Most teachers at NSUT are well-qualified and helpful. Some are really inspiring and guide you well, while a few might stick to old-school teaching. Overall, the teaching quality is decent. The CSAI course is quite relevant and covers industry-focused topics like AI, ML, and data science, so it does prepare you well for jobs. Semester exams aren’t too tough if you study regularly. Most students pass easily, with around 85-90% clearing every semester.
Other: I chose CSAI at NSUT because it blends core CS with the exciting world of AI— future-ready stuff! The best part is the exposure to real-world tech, cool projects, and solid placement support. I do wish the course had more hands-on learning and updated labs. NSUT has fun fests, a vibrant crowd, great Delhi connectivity, and a lively campus vibe. Surroundings are decent, and scholarships are available. Plus, there are tons of clubs and activities to explore beyond studies.
