NSUT is one of the best engineering colleges in India.
Placements: Almost 75% of the batches get placed. If I talk about IT, around 80–85% of students get placed. Good companies visit the campus and offer packages ranging from 10 LPA to 70 LPA. Many MNCs and startups visit the campus for internships and placements. If you have a good CGPA and the required skills, you will get good placements.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is very fast, with optical fiber connectivity throughout the campus. The mess and hostels are decent. The classrooms are air-conditioned, and the lecture halls are well equipped. The sports ground is good. The college provides fully funded sports trips across the country. There is a canteen, a Nescafé outlet, and other food outlets on the campus.
Faculty: Faculty is experienced, but it is tough to get a good CGPA here compared to other government colleges. Some professors are really strict. The attendance system is also very rigid. You need 75% attendance to be eligible to sit for the examinations. The courses are up to date and follow the latest curriculum.
Other: The college is directly connected to Dwarka Mor Metro Station. The fests are top class, with Moksha being very famous. Scholarships are provided based on income, category, and academic achievements.

It is a top-notch college in all manners.
Placements: This college is known for its placement offers in my branch as it has above 80% of placements. The highest package offered is 80 LPA. The lowest package offered is 20 LPA. The average package offered in my course is 40 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, and Uber. 60% of students get internships every year. It offers the role of a software engineer.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are top of the line, and they stand out from the other universities because they have high-speed Wi-Fi and fully air-conditioned classrooms. There are fully equipped labs with all course-related equipment. Libraries are huge.
Faculty: Exams are super easy, and we can score with only one night of study. Teachers are very friendly, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. They provide quality teaching to all. Some of them lack experience, rather than all being the best. The course curriculum is super relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. There are so many faculty members in this university.
Other: Our college organises the fest named Moksha, which is top-notch and at the level of IIT Delhi. I chose this course because in the future it's very important. I would like to introduce a more practical session rather than a theoretical one.

NSUT is the best choice I made.
Placements: In recent years, 78% of students got placed in high-end companies like Microsoft, YouTube, Google, etc. They offer a manager-level role to students. They offer 45 LPA as the highest package, 10 LPA as the minimum package, and 24 LPA as the average package. Some of them offer more as well.
Infrastructure: At NSUT, they provide high-speed Wi-Fi in every classroom, with fully air-conditioned classrooms and well-equipped labs. There is a huge bunch of books in the library, with full air conditioning and high-speed Wi-Fi. The hostelers can study in the library as much as they want. I have a little complaint about the canteen area. The food is hygienic and has good taste, but the canteen has a small dining area for students.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and provide any kind of information that is important from an exam point of view. They even help some students to complete their 75% attendance. NSUT is very strict when it comes to exams and cheating. If a student is caught while cheating, they call the parents and dismiss them from all the exams.
Other: I can say that it is the best choice I made because NSUT is just 5 KM away from my house, and it takes me 30 minutes to reach the college. On the other hand, my sister is in DU college, which is 20 KM away from my house, so she needs to leave home 1.5 hours before to get on time, which is very tiring. If you want to choose college always check the distance.

Good infrastructure and faculty is also good.
Placements: Currently, I am in 1st year and I heard from my senior that this year's placement is good. 70%-80% of students are getting placed and the highest package is almost 1 crore per annum. About internships, I heard from a senior that from our college 300-400 students got internships with good packages in good company.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are very good on campus. There is no issue in Wi-Fi and labs are also good. Library space is also good and canteen food is also good. Hostels rooms are not too good and required good infrastructure and some preparing in washrooms.
Faculty: Teachers are good in theory but some are very rude and in lab faculty, almost all teachers are very rude and do not teach us very well also. They don't give marks in lab class. Course curriculum is relevant and we learn different programming languages every year.
Other: College need improvements in sports faculty.

"A Dynamic Campus Experience: Blending Academics, Opportunities, and Growth."
Placements: Placement Percentage: Around 85% of students from the course secured placements by the end of the final year. The Highest Package: ₹18-20 LPA, offered by top companies like Amazon and Microsoft for roles in software development and AI/ML engineering.
Infrastructure: Tuition Fee per Year is 64,250. The University Fee (per Year) is 80,250. Other Fees (per Year) are 61,500, and for the other activities, including fests and events, the total amount we pay is 2,06,000. The fee for our college is very high, and it is very difficult to pay.
Faculty: The curriculum is well-designed and covers fundamental concepts along with practical applications. It incorporates modern tools, technologies, and case studies to make learning industry-relevant. Electives in the later semesters allow specialization in areas of interest.

Great campus and faculty members, good placements.
Placements: I am in the first year in the first semester, but we've heard a lot about NSUT as it offers great opportunities for placement and internships. In the orientation itself, they introduce their alumni with good packages. Many companies such as Google, Microsoft, and Uber visit our university. So yes, placements are considered to be good at NSUT.
Infrastructure: I am pursuing Information Technology, which has great future scope. The infrastructure of my course is quite good. Right now, we have 5 subjects with one elective. The Department of IT is well-equipped with modern technology and AC rooms. Coming to hostels, you might have to be on a long waiting list for hostels due to high demand, but PGs are always available outside the campus.
Faculty: The faculty here at NSUT is very friendly and understanding. While some seem to be strict, most of them are approachable. The teachers are quite qualified in their respective fields and teach in a very good way. The semesters are manageable till now, but you have to work hard, as everyone else is working their best. You also have to put in great effort in order to maintain a good CGPA.
Other: I chose Information Technology for its great scope in the future and its capability of providing good placements. Information Technology at NSUT is a little "hill" branch in comparison to others. NSUT also provides great fun with different societies and a great fest.

NSUT is a very good Tier 1 college. You will not regret after taking admission into it.
Placements: In 2024, from the Information Technology branch, 50.36% of students were placed. The highest package is 44.90 LPA and the lowest package is 12.75 LPA. Many companies visit the campus, such Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Cisco, McKinsey, Directi, etc. The top roles offered in my course are Software Engineer, Data Scientist, UX designer, Data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities at Netaji Subhas University of Technology are pretty good. The infrastructure of the university is absolutely fine. There is more greenery on campus; every classroom has WiFi. The library staff are very friendly. The quality of food served in hostel is as good as home.
Faculty: The teachers are always helpful, highly qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of every teacher is extraordinary. The course is relevant, and yes, this course makes students industry-ready. The exams in this college are not that hard. If you have listened to teachers, you will score well in exams.

Great college and excellent facilities.
Placements: The placement at our college is good with a median package of 15-17 LPA being offered. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Uber, Adobe, De Shaw, and many more visit our campus offering full-time roles and internships. Most of them offer the role of software developer and software engineer.
Infrastructure: The campus life is good, there is plenty of greenery and trees around, which provide good places to sit and hang out with people. The labs are equipped with AC and the computers have top-of-the-class specifications. The classrooms are modern and equipped with projectors and central ACs and seating arrangement is also good. The library is big. The canteen is relatively smaller but the food is good. There are multiple sports facilities like cricket ground, nets, track and field ground, football ground, amphitheater, badminton, basketball, tennis, kabaddi, volleyball, table tennis etc.
Faculty: Teachers are very passionate and care about every student. They are experts in their fields and offer help and advice to students who want to pursue higher studies. The curriculum is updated and teaches us what happens and how it happens in the industry. The semester exams are on the harder side but due to the diligence of our teaching staff, there is a 98% passing percentage.

The admission in NSUT Delhi are based on JEE Main only. So the JEE Main ranks are good enough for getting admission here. The result of first round of counselling has been declared on 16.10.2020. And the JEE Main cutoff rank of Delhi based general candidate is 7174 for B.Tech IT.

Yes, you'll probably get the IT or Software Engineering in 4th round or definitely in Spot Round.

For getting admission in NSIT, you need a good score in JEE Mains. Your marks are just qualifying marks and cannot be considered for admission in higher education in these premier institutes. However, if you are the topper of your board then BITS Pilani may be an option.

With defense quota, you'll get non-technical branches such as instrumentation, manufacturing and automation , Control engineering being from outside Delhi. If you are from Delhi, you'll likely to get either BIOTECH , CIVIL or MECHANICAL in second or third round. Best of luck.
