NSUT is fun, but sometimes it disappoints in a few things.
Placements: More than 65% of students were placed in the CS course. The highest package offered is 1.2 CPA, and the lowest is 6 LPA, while the average package goes around 15-20 LPA. Top recruiting companies for the CS course are Google, Microsoft, Infosys, Deloitte, Adobe, etc. Around 50% of students got internships in companies like Zomato, Infosys, and startups. Top roles offered are software engineer, AI/ML engineer, data analyst, and others.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure provided for CS courses is very nice in NSUT as compared to other engineering colleges. There is a huge library for students to study, and labs are fully equipped with the latest PCs. A good internet connection is provided through Wi-Fi. The hostel facilities are average as students are not allowed to have their personal ACs in the hostel rooms. The mess food is so okaish for the hostellers, while the canteen provides a variety of food options. Medical facilities are very limited. Sports facilities exist but are not maintained properly.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, but some are very strict and rude with the students as they don’t feel nice helping students with doubts or study material. The course curriculum is relevant to our course and also makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not that tough as students can pass them by studying properly in less time, while the passing percentage is around 85-90%.
Other: I chose this course as it is the new demand of the tech industry, and NSUT provides good facilities for my course. Campus life is fun as there are events and fests for the students to enjoy, and these fests also handle a huge crowd. There are also societies for coding, dancing, singing, and more.

NSUT's CSAI program has good scope, but the campus life feels just okay.
Placements: At NSUT's CSAI department, around 70-75% of students get placed. The highest package went up to ₹60-65 LPA, the average is around ₹18-24 LPA, and the lowest is about ₹5-7 LPA. Top recruiters include Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and Adobe. Approximately 15-20% of students secured internships, mostly at big tech companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and Qualcomm. Most students get roles such as software developer, data scientist, or ML engineer.
Infrastructure: CSAI has decent Wi-Fi and AC classrooms, but labs and overall infrastructure really need an upgrade. The library is good for studying, though. Hostels are crowded and not very clean. Mess and canteen food is just okay, edible but nothing to look forward to. Medical facilities are basic. Sports grounds are there, but not well-maintained. Some teachers are helpful, but a few are pretty strict, which can be stressful.
Faculty: Most teachers in CSAI are well-qualified and know their subjects, but not all are super helpful. Some are strict or old-school. Teaching quality is okay, but it depends a lot on the professor. The course is pretty relevant and covers current technology, so it does help you become industry-ready. Semester exams aren't very tough if you study regularly. Around 85-90% of students usually pass.
Other: I chose CSAI because I've always been interested in tech, AI, and how it's shaping the future. The best part of the course is the mix of core CS with modern stuff like ML and data science. I just wish there were more hands-on projects and updated labs. Campus life is fun, fests like Innovision and Moksha are huge, and the crowd is diverse and helpful. Being in Delhi, connectivity is great. The surroundings are average, not very lively. Scholarships are available for those who apply. There are lots of clubs for coding, drama, dance, and photography, something for everyone outside of studies.

Overall, it is good for placements.
Placements: 70% of students got placements in the previous session. The highest package offered by Google is 60 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA by TCS. Microsoft, Google, Uber, FastRetailing (UNIQLO), and Amazon visit the college to hire students regularly from our batch. Internship offers vary from performance-based internships to summer internships. Nearly 30% of students got summer internships. SDE roles are mostly offered to students.
Infrastructure: The library is pretty good and spacious. It has a lush green campus. The college is not crowded at all. Classrooms are well-managed, and a medical clinic is available. Race track, football ground, and indoor sports like TT and badminton are available. The canteen is okay and not too bad. Safal is pretty good for fresh fruits and juice.
Faculty: Teachers are average. However, they provide the needed resources to score well on exams. They complete the syllabus. The course curriculum is relevant to placements. Exams are moderate. We need to score 41 out of 100 to pass exams, and that is not too hard if we study a bit sincerely.

Great learning and placement experience at NSUT, the best ROI and peer group in Delhi.
Placements: Around 70% of the students in my bachelor placed. The highest package is 40.5 LPA of campus, the lowest package is 4.5 LPA average package is 12 LPA top recruiting includes Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Atlas, Deloitte, and Goldman Session. Adobe approximately 70% of the students secured internships through the TPL or Temple via platforms like Sala LinkedIn and coding competitions, major intern requirements for Samsung, Paytm, Urban Company, and DRDO include software developed data analyst, SD intern, and AIML engineer.
Infrastructure: The Computer Science department is excellent and has outstanding infrastructure, air-conditioned classrooms with projectors, multiple labs for AI/ML and networking, and high-speed campus Wi-Fi. The central library is well-stocked with academic referral materials and also offers digital resources. Campus life is manageable. The rooms are decent, and the quality of the mess food is average but consistent. There are canteens and cafes on campus, such as Amul, Maggi Point, and Juice Junction.
Faculty: Most professors in the CSE department hold Ph.D. degrees from reputed institutes and are helpful with project placements, teaching, and studies. The curriculum is regularly updated and industry-relevant, including AI, ML, data science, cloud, and cybersecurity.
Other: The education and placement opportunities at NSUT are absolutely worth it for a Delhi government institute. The ROI is excellent, especially if you are proactive with internships and upskilling.

Good in fest and extracurricular activities, disappointed with the course curriculum.
Placements: From my branch, around 68% of students get placed with an average package of 15 LPA. The highest package is around 1.2 crore, and almost all the foreign companies came to my college for recruitment. Around 6-7 students from every branch got internships. The roles mostly offered are software engineer, data analyst, UX-UI developer, etc.
Infrastructure: All the buildings have a good Wi-Fi connection but if I consider the old buildings only few of the classes have AC, and other classes look like school classes. The APJ section is well-infrstructured and maintained, every room has ACs. The food in the canteen is not so good honesty, some students got ill due to this.
Faculty: In this case, I would consider the college to be average because they don't teach something new in its curriculum. After few years, the exam is getting so hard, but besides some teachers, almost every teacher helps the student to pass. Teachers are good enough to tell students about the important topics to be covered before exams.
Other: The course is good and I learned a lot. The events and fests in college are also better and for few years, the fest Moksha is competing with the fest of some good colleges such as DTU, and even some of the IITs. During the last fest, the crowd was around 60,000 people. So the fest and extracurricular activities at my college are too good.

My experience at NSUT is very good.
Placements: The average package is around 10 LPA to 12 LPA. For the CSE department, the average package is around 18 LPA to 20 LPA. Giant companies like Google and Amazon also visit for on-campus placements and provide good packages. A good number of students also go for off-campus placements. The placement season generally starts after the 6th semester, and internship opportunities start after the 2nd semester. The highest package usually goes around one crore, and the lowest is around 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are very good in our college, but the only problem is that they charge a good amount. Being a government college, the charges for the hostel and mess accommodation are on the higher side. There are two options such as single room occupancy and double room occupancy in our hostels. I would also really like to appreciate our washrooms. They are very good and well-maintained.
Faculty: The curriculum is not as relevant as it should be for the first year, but this is not something we don’t see in other engineering colleges. From the second year onwards, the curriculum is very relevant to our branches. Faculty members are typical. Some of them are good, some are moderate, and some are very strict. The strictness is based on assignments, attendance, and other factors. We have six courses this semester, and each course has its separate professor and separate lab staff.
Other: This college is one of the best engineering colleges in India, a tier-1 engineering college. It is better than many NITs and even some IITs. Through JOSAA counseling, I was getting NIT Bhopal and IIIT Gwalior for CSE in both, but this college has a great location as well as a strong reputation. As I mentioned earlier, I was getting DTU for IT or SE, but CSAI in NSUT, so I choose this college over the others.

Our college has recently cooperated with Uniclo which will give scholarships to selected students.
Placements: 82 percent students of this course are placed in our college (in 2023) 82% of students got placed in this course and our college in 2023. The highest package is 1 CPA. The average package offered in this course is 18 LPA. The lowest package is around 10 LPA - 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies of this course are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Cisco, Deloitte, Accenture, Samsung, IBM, etc. Our college has a robust internship program for B.Tech in CSE. About 80-90 companies come and around 30 students get internships from our course.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure is good, but I will not give 5 stars because of issues faced during lab due to the availability of default instruments. Faculty members are also not very serious about the lab. Otherwise, facilities like Wi-Fi, a library, greenery, society, drinking water, and washrooms are excellent.
Faculty: Some teachers are very good at teaching and give life lessons other than study. Classes are held regularly. They are very serious about our studies. I am in my second semester and learning DSA in my course. So, I can say the course curriculum makes students industry-ready. The level of semester exams is average and doable. We can pass exams and score 41/100 marks in each subject.
Other: I chose this course because of the placements at this college and got to know that it is very disciplined and serious about studies. I just want to improve the lab conditions and students should have the choice to change the teacher in between the semesters if the majority wants. I heard that very few events are here but from when I joined, there are many events like ethnic day and Bollywood Day and fests like Resonanz and Moksh. The sports team is also formed and inter-college competitions are held.

Good infrastructure and satisfied.
Placements: Around 50%-60% of students were placed last year from our course. The highest salary package offered was around 60 LPA, and the average salary package offered was around 20 LPA. Around 20% of students secured internships in our course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for the classes is very good, and I would say it's excellent. There are proper classrooms with proper teaching boards with screens. There are also separate labs with proper facilities for experiments. Hostels also have okay infrastructure.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also good. Course curriculum is okay, a bit fast but has to be that way for completion. Semester exams are average as in difficult level. Pass percentage is 40% of the topper score.

There is nothing called direct admission in NSIT. You need to give the JEE mains exam and the boards exams. Your rank calculated on the basis of marks in both exams decides if you can be admitted or not.
