Currently, the admission can be done for the Ph.D. in Management in NIT Calicut based on the candidates GATE/NET score and interview. Usually the general qualifying criteria are a Master's degree in Management, Engineering or a similar field with not less than 60% weight average ( 55 % for SC/ST). But the cutoff marks may differ depending on the number of candidates and the given research fields. So as to know the most accurate cutoff it is advisable to access the NIT Calicut website or better still get a hold of the institute.

With a 70% in CBSE 12th boards and a 60 in JEE Mains, your chances of getting a seat at NIT Calicut can be challenging but not impossible. NIT Calicut is highly competitive, and admission is primarily based on JEE Main scores. For B.Tech programs, candidates with ranks between 1,400 and 39,000 in JEE Main have a chance, depending on the specialisation and seat availability. Your score of 60 in JEE Mains might place you in a lower rank range, but you can still explore options in state quota seats or private colleges.
