It is an institute of national importance.

Placements: The placements provided in our college are very good. Approximately, one company visits the campus every weekend for placements. The CTC offered is not less than Rs. 5 LPA. Every class has a training and placement coordinator, who co-ordinates with the training and placement officer of the college. You don't need to worry about yourself. Once you join this institute, your placement is confirmed.

Infrastructure: Since it's an institute of national importance, the infrastructure is one of the best. Labs are well-equipped. Every department is Wi-Fi enabled. The dispensary is available round the clock. The canteen is good. You will get a variety of snacks. Hostel rooms are good and very well-maintained. The college conducts 2 cultural fests and a sports event.

Faculty: The faculty members are well-trained and have a lot of experience. They take personal care of every student in the class. Smart classes are provided for the better understanding of the concept. The college frequently organises industrial visits. The student to facility ratio is 15:1.

Other: A technical fest, 2 cultural fests, sports meet, and alumni meet are held in the college. We get a lot to learn from the seniors.

In spite of some drawbacks, the college's qualities make me feel proud of being its student

Placements: The placement is very good for some branches as CSE and EC, and above average placements for other branches. But as far as PG courses are considered, the placement record is not so good i.e. below average. The highest package is up to 16 lakhs. Almost every student of CSE, EC and EE gets placed easily.

Infrastructure: Labs are well-maintained. The library is vast but it's difficult to find the desired books. The best part is the computer center. A newly constructed mega hostel can be considered as the centre of attraction among all hostels. There are more than 10 hostels in our college. Very average facilities for sports.

Faculty: Ad-hoc faculty members are very hard working and knowledgeable but permanent faculty members hardly give you time. The course curriculum can be called as outdated. PG students easily get internships in good firms but for the job, one has to work really hard. For UG students, most of the things run properly but there is a difficult situation for PG and research scholars.
