M.Tech in Power Systems Engineering at NIT Jamshedpur.

Placements: I am 2017 pass out power system engineering student. I was not expecting placement from this institute but was targeting government jobs and other external exams. I got chance to sit for L&T power interview but didn't make to final list. Many IIT coaching institutes, IT companies and few core companies visited institute for placements.

Infrastructure: It is good and improving day by day. Mega hostel block for PG students, new academics building are few projects are in pipeline. Overall institute will have world class infra in coming days. Laboratories are not that much good and library hosts old books.

Faculty: Overall, faculty is good except few. Many Ph.D. scholars from IIT's come as ad hoc faculty to teach and regular tests along with classes will help in building concepts clear. If someone wants to prepare for GATE and others exams faculty will not bother you.

Other: Fest is very nice. Tatanagar railway station provides good connectivity and Howrah is only 4 hours away by train route.
