B.Tech. in Industrial Internet of Things Engineering - Batch of 2029
4.2
Absolutely right review of my college.
Placements: 75% of B.Tech students are placed in 2024. In CSE branch 78% of students placed. The average, median package offered is 12.68, 9LPA, and the highest package offered is 64.28LPA. The lowest package offered is 4LPA. Top recruiting companies include Microsoft, Amazon, Godrej, Meesho, and other top companies. Top roles offered are SDE and embedded system engineer. Although internship opportunities are limited, they totally depend on your skills. My branch is new, so its placement has not been done. This branch has high potential for futuristic programs. It comes between CSE and ECE.
Infrastructure: Our course infrastructure is nice. AC equipped classrooms with smart boards. All computer centers are also equipped with a LAN. There is Wi-Fi in the library, but it does not work properly. Hostel are of old style but with proper hygiene. Mess food is good, but here, chapati is not that good. It also has large grounds in the hostel with the security of Dogesh Bhai. There is a health center and sports complex with all the games.
Faculty: Teachers are mixed, some of them exhibit neutral behaviour, some are rude, and many of them are helpful. Mostly are knowledgeable with great experience from their own and other international universities, but some are Ph.D. scholars whose teaching style is not that good. The IIOT branch, as the name suggests, makes students industry ready with practical knowledge. Mid sems are of 15 marks each, and end sems are of 50 marks. Difficult level of mid sems are easy to moderate, but end sems are moderate to difficult. 90% of students get the desired marks according to their preparation.
Other: IOT includes many futuristic things like Machine Learning and Data Analytics, etc.

Excellence of NIT Kurukshetra.
Placements: There are 70 students in IIT. Our branch is new but it comes under the ECE department, which has an average package of 18 lacs. Being IoT, it is a more advanced branch of ECE, which includes CSE work as well. The top recruiters are Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Google, Amazon, and TCS. Software developers, IoT developers, consultants, etc. are the roles mostly offered.
Infrastructure: Facilities are decent. Wi-Fi is available in the CCN and the library, but it is limited, whereas LAN access is available in my hostel. It differs from hostel to hostel. The quality of the mess is low. But sweets are distributed on a daily basis. Sports facilities are excellent.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. And a Ph.D. scholar who had good knowledge of the subject. Semester exams are difficult, especially the c language questions. Light teaching but problems are at a tough level. We need to score 15 marks out of 40 in mid-semester 1 and 2. And 20 out of 50 marks for passing.
Other: IoT is an emerging field that helps in the improvement of our lifestyle. It provides ease of life. It is a perfect combination of CS and ECE. Which primarily deals with Arduino devices. Holidays should be increased in college. Techspardha and Confluence are the main events to be held in college. Scholarships for the economically weaker sections are provided.

Great infrastructure and good placements.
Placements: 90% of students are placed in our college. As of now, I don't know the highest as placements are going on. In 2022, the highest in overall college was 1.2 CR, and as we are the first batch in this course, I couldn't get you the highest in our course. Our professor of C language told us that only 3 students in the CS branch got internships through college so most of us would get internships from outside rather than from college.
Infrastructure: The name suggests that our course is related to computer science, but it is not. Our branch comes under the Department of ECE, and the labs and classrooms are absolutely fine and good. The hostel that is allotted for the first year is an old hostel and we should adjust. The food in the mess is the real problem. As I am from South India, I find food to be a real trouble here. Facilities at sports are good.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are helpful, but most of them are not. The faculty that was sent to first-semester students are Ph.D. students and are mostly not knowledgeable. The curriculum in the first semester is irrelevant to the course. As seniors, this college would never make students industry-ready. The semester exams are moderate, and most of the students pass them.

NIT KURUKSHETRA the place of gods
Placements: My course is industrial internet of things and department is electronics and communication engineering . A s my branch is started from this year itself so there are no previous placement statistics but ECE has a great placement with placement rate of 75 - 80 % and average package of 17LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has a great infrastructure . It has all high tech labs with great classrooms and lecture halls. All the classrooms are air conditioned . It has huge library and also has a digital library and also CCN cloud and computer networking for those who don't have laptop they can come and study on PCs there.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and they have very deep knowledge in their domain . All the teachers have done the master and doctorate from reputated institutions of the country . There are 2 mid semester exams and end semester for each sem. The mid sem exams are of 20 marks each and end sems are of 50 marks.

The NIT Kurukshetra good and bad.
Placements: Our course is new, so it has no placement records, but it comes under ECE, so I can tell that about 80% students got placed. The highest package is 63 LPA, and the lowest is 6 LPA. Top companies were Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, Amazon, and many other top companies. Internship records are not shared, but it is very low.
Infrastructure: In our college, Wi-Fi is available at the library, but in the classroom, there is no Wi-Fi. The infrastructure of the college is good, but the hostels are old, and in rainy seasons, there are leaks in the rooms. In the hostel, the infrastructure is average, the mess food is good, and all indoor and outdoor sports facilities are provided.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable, but some professors are rude, and some are chill and helpful. The curriculum in our branch is relevant, but it does not fully make students industry ready. You have to learn by yourself in the industry. The difficulty level of the sem exams is moderate, and the pass percentage is about 95%.

It's a good college. It has all the facilities, but weather makes it difficult, though manageable.
Placements: Placements have been quite sound this year with companies like Uber, Meesho, and Make My Trip already picking up students and giving around 15 LPA for students of major branches like computer science, electronics and communication engineering as well.
Infrastructure: The availability of network services is not fulfilling even mobile network of some SIMs do not work. The hostels do not have Wi-Fi. They have LAN service which does not allow WhatsApp to run as well. The quality of food is not that great. The rotis are made from machines and are mostly raw and incredible though. The medical facilities are top-notch. Sports facilities are also maintained well. Due to the extreme heat, sometimes the ACs feel worthless.
Faculty: Most of the professors are very helpful, and they encourage students to solve doubts as well, though some faculty members face some language barriers that do not hamper their quality of teaching and providing education. The course is relevant and helpful, and contains a considerable amount of everything which also helps for placement.
