Our college's placement scenario is good now.
Placements: Approximately 80-85% of students get placed in courses. The highest package is around 22 LPA, and the lowest package is 8 LPA. Several companies came to our college, like Google, Microsoft, Infosys, Mahindra, Orient, etc. In mechanical and metallurgical engineering, many students got internships.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, all facilities are available in the hostel and labs. For cold weather, dual AC units are placed in labs and the mess. The quality of food in the mess is good, with all varieties of food and seasonal fruits available. Here, medical facilities are good.
Faculty: Teacher qualification is good, they are qualified from various NITs, IITs, many GFTIs, and they have good knowledge related to their course and subject. Our course curriculum is relevant. It is relevant for industry needs. Our semester exam level is moderate to tough. 7.5 CGPA minimum to get eligibility for the sitting placement scenario.
Other: I chose it because I am interested in mechanical engineering. I feel the best thing in this branch is that it is an evergreen branch.

Pretty much satisfied with the college.
Placements: The placement is pretty good. By this, I mean that students with good skills will definitely get placed. Top recruiters come to the college. Microsoft, JP Morgan, etc., are some of the recruiters. The NIT Srinagar placement and Training cell monitors placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty average. It is not at the level of a national institute. The infrastructure needs to be improved. Some benches are broken and cannot be used. Some labs need to be improved ( in the case of infrastructure). Work is going on in many parts of the campus.
Faculty: The faculty is very helpful. They try their best to make you understand concepts in a clear and concise manner. The 1st sem has a moderate-paced curriculum which helps the students to get into college-level mathematics and Physics. The semesters are smooth.

My college and my experiences at this college.
Placements: Placements are very good. Every year, there are top companies coming to recruit students. There are a good number of packages. And every year, talented students get their chances. Every department has a good placement percentage, and there are many people out there who have more than one placement.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is not so excellent, but they are good. There are many hostels named after a river, and we got the Indus hostel, so it's also been good. Mess is also good, and the mess is awesome. The diet is very good, full of protein and all, and there's also a gym in every hostel.
Faculty: The teachers are very encouraging and supportive. If you have a good talent in any aspect, there are many teachers from different departments, so if you have a good talent and want encouragement, this college is for you. And the exams are not so difficult.

It's a great college with some problems.
Placements: The placement data from the previous year showed that almost 97% of students got placed with a decent package. The highest package last year was 35.5 LPA, which is quite good. Even this year, the pre-placement offers and placements are above average, with companies like Microsoft and Nvidia participating in it. The highest package this year till now was, I guess, 25 LPA, again a good amount. So the placements are above average here.
Infrastructure: The course is really bad, it's not just the case with this college, the college courses in whole India are the same. They are outdated, decades behind the current world. Today's world has changed, we need new skills, adapt to new tech, and hence it should change. The hostel is pretty bad, there are 5 students in 1 room in 1st year, 2nd year and 3rd year. It's only in the final year that you get a single room. Though a mega boys' hostel is under construction, it will definitely improve the hostels. Mess food is average, sometimes it's good too.
Faculty: These are average, faculty members are great, well-qualified, and they know about their subjects well. The exams are moderate, not tough, but well enough to test your knowledge on the curriculum. The curriculum is not relevant to today's AI world. Semester exams are not difficult, you can pass them with decent grades while starting to study just before exams.
Other: Fiesta are great, range chinar and techveganza are fabulous. The campus life is great, but the problem is that the campus is very small, which creates a problem.

The best thing about the college is its natural beauty. Located in Kashmir the .
Placements: My batch has 100 students, out of which almost 20 are local, who are very nice and helpful. Approximately 40-50 students are from Jammu and Kashmir, which is obvious because of the 50 percent state quota. Each semester has 6 main subjects and 2-3 labs and workshop classes.
Infrastructure: For the first year, the classrooms are not up to the mark, but from the second year, classes are very good. For the first year, every class takes place in the attic, and I'm not even kidding. It's on the third floor, and it is so tiring to climb the stairs 10 times a day.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable, but at the same time, some teachers don't care about their class at all. One of our teachers uploads every lecture on YouTube, which is very helpful, and on the other hand, one teacher didn't even bother to complete the syllabus.
Other: Don't expect a lot. The campus is very small compared to other colleges, and it is not lively. One major fun event takes place in a year.

Decent Government college with almost every facility available and good placement statistics too.
Placements: The placement drive is ongoing, but the highest in mechanical right now is 14 LPA for 2 students and 12 LPA for 2 students. The lowest has been 6.5 LPA, and a total of 14 students have been placed in mechanical. The average for now has been around 7.5 Lacs.
Infrastructure: The place has undergone various changes throughout the year, with the mega hostel being built. Things will get better, but right now, the hostel rooms are cramped with 5 to 6 students in a single room in the first year. The food is good. The college has a medical unit and has very good grounds. There is a cricket and a football ground, various badminton courts, volleyball courts, lawn tennis courts, basketball courts and a real court too, and there are about 6 table tennis tables.
Faculty: We have very good faculty, the course is the same as every government institution, the course includes SolidWorks, labs for fusion making students ready for the industry. The semester exams are pretty difficult, and the midterms are relatively easier than the end-of-term exams. The pass percentage depends on every subject, but is about 78-80 percent for the first semester.
