I am satisfied with some of the teachers but good for serious studies.
Placements: Placements depend on students' performance. The salary package also depends on their performance, but on average, the salary package offered is 2 LPA. Local companies, including few reputed companies, visit here. Almost all the students get internships from here. We are taught about fashion and fashion forecasting to convert ideas into reality.
Infrastructure: Facilities are not much good here, but you will get basic facilities like fresh water, a clean environment, etc. The infrastructure is moderate, and sports events are not organised. You will get personal attention from the teachers.
Faculty: Some of the teachers here are well qualified and very helpful. They will help you in your studies, but apart from that, you will not get any help from them. Their way of working is very slow, and the accounts department is the worst. You will get to learn about fashion, but as per the industries, you will get to know about them only during the internship period.
Other: I am a fashion lover. I have lots of ideas which I want to implement in real life. I love to play with the patterns and to explore and add new elements to my garments. Fests are not organised here, and the total campus crowd is average.

I am satisfied as well as dissatisfied because of its facilities provided.
Placements: Almost every student in our department got internships. Many students got internships in Vardhman, Bombay dying, and many other big companies. The roles offered are designer, print designer, surface ornamentation, etc.
Infrastructure: In our college, the food served in the mess is good. The rooms are open comfortable, washrooms are good, hostel atmosphere is very pleasant. The library is air-conditioned. The area is open and is a good place to think of better ideas. There are different laboratories for different types of work. It also has an airy hall.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive and helpful. If students are studying well, then the semester exams are easy to score good marks. They teach most of the things which will help the students to get ready for the industry's exposure, and different modules for the same have also been provided. Teachers help students by providing internships. I myself got help from the teachers for going for internships. Teachers are very supportive in terms of internships.

Our college is good, and the students are talented. But a few teachers play politics.
Placements: About 60% of the students from our course got placed. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month and the highest salary offered is Rs. 60,000 per month and even above than that. There are many top recruiting companies for our course. Top roles offered in our course are fashion designer, fashion stylist, retail marketing, merchandiser and many more. The lowest salary package offered in our course is 3 LPA, and the highest salary package offered ranges from 4 LPA-5 LPA and even above this range. Every student got an internship. Tarun Tahiliani, Rahul Mishra, Anita Dongre, Ritu Kumar and many famous designers offer internships here. Companies like Zara, Active Clothing, etc., also offer internships here.
Infrastructure: There are departments, i.e., fashion designing and textile designing. Wi-Fi facility will be available soon as they already installed, and there are labs like garment construction, weaving lab and pattern making lab. Our college has an auditorium, and a library, which is fully equipped with all designing-related books. There is a hostel for girls only, and the food served is good. Hostel rooms are also good. The canteen is average, and a playground is available for badminton, volleyball, kho-kho, etc. One bus is available permanently.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful and qualified from NIFT Delhi and NIIFT. Their teaching quality is very good, and they are very supportive also. They make us feel proud to have them. The course curriculum is relevant, and our seniors are very helpful to get internships and also jobs.
Other: I have chosen this course because I have a passion, aim, and to earn money. The best thing about our course is you can have the freedom to explore your idea. Our college lacks a computer facility, knowledgeable faculty members, updated system and has an old version of the application of photoshop illustrator and CorelDraw and lack more apps. Events, fest, etc., are organised here, but not in a huge way. So our college needs to advertise more. I wish our college can run or open more departments like AD accessories designing, KD knitwear designing and FC fashion communication. It is a good college, and students are also good.

Infrastructure and placements are good. Teachers are helpful.
Placements: Companies like, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Puma and Winsome, Shingora, etc., visited our campus for placements. Roles offered varies from the sales department to the designing and merchandising department. Almost 90% of students got placed in good companies across India. The highest salary was Rs. 55,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 30,000 month. All the students got internships from college. The highest stipend offered was Rs. 11,000 month and the lowest stipend offered was Rs. 5,000 month. There is a placement cell in our college. Teachers also help students in getting an internship or a job.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. It has a good building. There are many spacious classrooms. The library is air-conditioned with photocopy facility. The computer lab is air-conditioned, which can accommodate 60-65 students at a time. There are weaving Lab with handlooms, pattern making lab and sewing labs for students. There is a spacious auditorium and also a multimedia room. The college also has a tuck shop, where students can get stationery and stuff related to college work. The college also has a field for playing volleyball and badminton among other sports. There is also a canteen. The hostel facility is available for girls.
Faculty: All faculty members in our college are PhD holders. They are knowledgeable. Mostly practical knowledge is provided in the college. All the students get industrial exposure. Textile designing is a vast course students learn various things about designing and almost everything.
Other: The college organises various events like freshers (night event), Teej party, Teachers day, Navratri party, Halloween, Diwali party, New Year, Valentines Day party, Graduation shows, and Farewell throughout the year.

Northern India Institute of Fashion technology, Mohali.
Placements: Placement session was very efficient and placements were done in a proper way. There were 100% placement. Established designers and export houses approached for recruiting the students. Students got placed as merchandisers as well as junior designers.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are airy. Classes and labs can accommodate 50-60 students at a time. College has a wonderful infrastructure, a rich and updated library, a good canteen and separate classroom and labs for respective subjects:
Sewing lab
Pattern making lab
Weaving lab etc.
Hostel facility is available for girls only and are provided according to the rank of students. Rooms are okayish type.
Faculty: College has professional and experienced faculty. Teachers are helpful and cooperative. Teaching methods are good, easy and student centred. Student to faculty ratio was 12:1. The course included a visit to industry and a 45 days internship programme. The course curriculum was based on enhancing the designing skills of students and gave them a platform by guiding and motivating the students. In the end of the course there is a fashion show which is an important part of curriculum.

I am dissatisfied because of everything in college.
Placements: None of the students get placed in the college. Companies do not visit our college for placements. Students get an internship by their own efforts. Top roles are not offered to the students. Our college is not responsible for students placements.
Infrastructure: Our college does not provide facilities and infrastructure. There is no Wi-Fi and labs. Classrooms have proper furniture, which looks like an Anganwadi school. The library is the place where students are not allowed. The hostel is old with broken cupboards and furniture. There is no cooler, and it is not even painted.
Faculty: Teachers are not at all helpful but well qualified. They lack knowledge. Their teaching quality is the worst. An attendance matters a lot in the college. The course curriculum is not relevant. It is a waste of money and time. Semester exams are not difficult, but the whole percentage depends upon how your image is in front of the faculty.
