This university is very good and provides full of knowledge, I recommend to take seat here.

Placements: Almost 85% of students get placed from the E&I branch. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA. Tata Electronics and L&T are the top recruiting companies. 70% of students get an internship in different companies like Bosch and National Selection. Instrumentation engineer and control system engineers are the common roles provided.

Infrastructure: The facility and infrastructure at OUTR are very good and well-maintained. All labs are well-equipped and clean, and classrooms are also well-maintained. The hostels have a good Wi-Fi facility, a good mess, and 24/7 medical facilities. The mess food is also very good.

Faculty: The faculty members at the university are well-qualified and have very good knowledge of their course. They are very helpful, and their teaching techniques are very satisfactory. The semester exams are a little bit hard and strict. The pass percentage is almost 100%.

Other: This course has good future value, and the course is very valuable in the industrial sector. Every year, 3 to 4 events are organized.

OUTR Bhubaneswar: A growing tech hub with strong placements, evolving infrastructure.

Placements: OUTR boasts strong placements, 77%-90% students land roles, with average packages ranging from 5.5 LPA to 6.5 LPA and top offers up to 44 LPA-47LPA. Recruiters include Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, Deloitte, Infosys, Wipro, Bosch, Adani, and Cisco. The placement cell's robust training, internships, and industry linkage empower the CSE/IT major, especially.

Infrastructure: OUTR spans over 100 acres with departmental blocks, labs, canteens, sports courts, still expanding, classrooms, and basic facilities. Wi-Fi is spotty. Hostels offer beds, wardrobes, purifiers, a TV in the mess, and decent mess food, but capacity is limited, allotted by rank. Some buildings need renovation, but new construction is underway.

Faculty: OUTR has mostly well-qualified, PhD-holding faculty from IITs, NITs, and IIITs, helpful yet occasionally rigid. Curriculum is strong, featuring coding, spoken English, and industry-relevant modules. Exams include two class tests and end-semester paper. The passing required 75% attendance.

It's an average college and it doesn't charge much.

Placements: Placements are not very lucrative, but you could get a good company like Deloitte, L&T, Tata, Maruti Suzuki, etc. Obviously, you need to work on both academic and skill development. The average package is 6.7 LPA. And CSE is most preferred if you are a placement-oriented guy.

Infrastructure: College has centralized Wi-Fi with a good network. But the infrastructure is not up to the mark. The walls need to be painted, and buildings need to be relooked. The hostel is not enough to keep all the college students. If you got something called low rank, you'll not get a hostel in college.

Faculty: Faculty is strict. The mid-sems, end-sems, and practical record are all checked very strictly, that too within the due date. The curriculum is hectic for sure in an engineering college. Being in 1st year, you could get help from seniors. Seniors are of good nature. Hope it helps you.

Other: Clubs do conduct fests and all. And the college being in the city is still away from the crowd in a jungle.

Review of Odisha University of Technology and Research.

Placements: Our college's IT branch is well-renowned and has a minimum admission cutoff of the 90th percentile for outside students. As of the first half of the session, the highest package was 23.48 LPA, showcasing the impressive stature of this government college in Odisha. We have TCS, Adani, and Amazon as active recruiters for the course.

Infrastructure: The department offers Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, spacious classrooms, and a resourceful library. Hostel facilities are decent, with clean rooms, average food quality in the mess and food street, basic medical facilities, and ample sports and recreational options.

Faculty: Faculty members are experienced and talented, and they are good at teaching. There is no special care given to any student; everyone is treated equally. As the years proceed, students will find their studies more interesting. The difficulty of the examinations is quite high, and probably around 80% of students will pass.

Review of Odisha University of Technology and Research.

Placements: Our course had an average placement rate of approximately 95%. The maximum package provided was 47 LPA, and the minimum was 3 LPA. Around 90% of students got internships in different firms. Good recruiters such as Amazon, TCS, Microsoft, NALCO, and Deloitte provided both placements and internships with good packages.

Infrastructure: Facilities available in our hostel included Wi-Fi, drinking water, light, fans, and beds. Fully air-conditioned classrooms were available in our college. A central library was available on our campus, and books could be issued to students. The quality of food in the mess was average. There were three canteens on our campus. The fast food was good. We had a small ground to play different sports like volleyball, football, and cricket.

Faculty: Faculty members were approachable and assisted with concept clarification and doubt-solving, preparing students for real-world industry. However, due to a general lack of student focus, the pass percentage remained just above 50%. Still, teachers were supportive.

For the 2023 batch (drives held in early/mid-2023), the highest package is INR 44.80 LPA, the average package ranged from INR 6.03-6.06 LPA, the median package is INR 5.50 LPA, and the lowest package is around INR 2.51 LPA. For the 2022 batch (drives in 2022), the highest package is INR 47.00 LPA, the average package is INR 5.63 LPA, the lowest package is INR 1.80 LPA, and the median package is approximately INR 4.82 LPA. Each department has dedicated labs fitted with up-to-date equipment and software for practical sessions and research purposes, and the central computer center hosts around 300 computers with licensed technical/software tools. The central library holds over 41,000 books, and shuttle services are provided for students and faculty, with banking and ATM facilities available on campus. OUTR has separate boys' hostels (Ramanujan Hall, APJ Abdul Kalam Hall) and girls' hostels, each accommodating around 550 residents.

Faculty: Students consistently describe faculty as helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive, with many professors holding Ph.D. or advanced degrees from IITs/NITs. Reviews highlight punctuality, clarity in teaching, and readiness to clear doubts, even up to the GATE level (i.e., placement) preparation. A student from Civil Engineering (batch 2022) noted that the quality of teaching is nice. The teachers are very nice. The course surely made me job-ready. Faculty are described as approachable and friendly, with some having IIT/NIT backgrounds, making the teaching environment collaborative.
