Overall our college is very good except the food quality in hostel.
Placements: The percent of students placed in our college is 80%. Top companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Asmosis, Mediamint etc. hired students from our college. Many students got internship from our course in industries like RSP, HCL etc. Top roles offered in our course are production engineer, quality engineer etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our department are classrooms, labs, workshop, library, seminar room etc. The quality of food in our hostel is not that much good but the other facilities in hostel like cleanness, drinking water, security etc. are best.
Faculty: The teachers were very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is very good. This course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students ready for industry. The semester exams are quite difficult but not that much. The pass percentage is 33%. .

Review of Parala Maharaja Engineering College, Biju Patnaik University of Technology.
Placements: Only 5 % of students got placement from our college. I am in production engineering of batch 2018. The highest salary package offered was about 4.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. Wipro and Net2Source were the two recruiting companies. They offered the role of system engineer and recruiter. The internship was like a summer course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was not good. Most labs are not well-designed as it was new and under construction, and it lacks various equipment. There are a few hostels. You have to score a good rank to get on-campus accommodation. The quality of the food was the worst. The canteen was started recently, which serves no variety. The feedback system in our college is also worse.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are good but no interaction with students. The teacher-student is very pathetic. Teachers are not that kind and gentle to the students, and it is very bad.
Other: I have chosen this college as it comes under the government college, so I got a good rank.
