Good for studies only and the crowd is average.

Placements: Less than 50% got placed through college placements. Also, you have to prepare for the interviews if you wish to get placed through college placements. Many students apply for placements, but only few are selected for the interviews. After the interviews, very few students are selected.

Infrastructure: Biology department has two laboratories, one for under-graduates and one for post graduates. Same goes for the chemistry and physics departments, both of them have different laboratories for under-graduates and post-graduates. Also, information technology department has 2 laboratories, each continuing more than 40-50 computer systems.

Faculty: Teachers of the college are well-qualified and some them have completed their PhDs and they also help students who wish to study. Semester exams are manageable if you attend all lectures conducted by faculty members. Entire syllabus is covered before semester.

Overall, it is a good college with good teachers.

Placements: Around 50% to 60% of students get placements. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA to 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA to 3 LPA. Top recruiters include Tata, Wipro, TCS, and many start-ups. Around 80% of students get internships. Data scientist is the top role offered for a highly skilled and capable candidate. Software developer is the basic role that you can get.

Infrastructure: Computers are not much upgraded, but the library is good. Classrooms are wide. There is free drinking water for students and teachers. The food is good. This year, the reconstruction ground is going to be finished. It will offer good sports facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and helpful. It would take time for students to get industry-ready. They are not knowledgeable because they study online. There is less face-to-face interaction.

Other: I chose this course due to its growing market demand and money-making scope in technology.

I am satisfied with this college because of the faculty.

Placements: The placement was practically based on the merit score and jobs were given according to that. The highest package offered is Rs.35000 per month. TCS and Infosys are some recruiting companies in our college. About 30% of students got internships from our course in various companies.

Infrastructure: The library is big enough to hold more students at a time and a lot of books are available. The classrooms are well maintained with good lighting and the labs are properly managed and are air-conditioned. There is no hostel but there's a hygienic canteen.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. This course is curriculum relevant and it can make students industry ready to a point. The semester exams are pretty good because of the studying pattern provided.

It is a good college, but the placements here are average.

Placements: Above 5-10% of students got placed through campus interviews. As per my knowledge, on-campus internships are not available. The minimum package offered here was 1.5 Lacs per annum, and the average package was 2-3 lakhs per annum which is a pretty good package for freshers in the industry.

Infrastructure: An IT lab is available to conduct practicals, where the internet is available. The classrooms are average. Wi-Fi is not provided. Library cards are provided through which you can take books from the library to study. There is no hostel facility available. The canteen here is good.

Faculty: The faculty members are very good and help you with doubts and will guide you. This course is more of theory than practical. You have to make projects in the final year of your course which can give you the idea about how to use all the languages in practical life.

I am a bit satisfied with the college.

Placements: Placements mostly depend on our marks. Placements depend on the performance mainly we show throughout the course. We were offered many types of work in different type of IT sectors and have a very good impact. So college is pretty good.

Infrastructure: Facilities are provided at an average level. But it's not like they will consider any type of problem at one call, we have to tell them to help resolve our issue then they start giving different types of other problematic solutions. But problems are all consecutively solved at the end.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable but are not always helpful to satisfy us from the doubts we sometimes get in our minds. Exams are not usually very tough, but they have good knowledge about setting papers accordingly so exams are conducted properly. Our course is relevant to very places and need.

Other: I wanted to take this course for a very long time. So I opted for this course.

It is a good government college.

Placements: Many good companies come to our college for placements like L&T, TCS, Capgemini, etc. You have to give exams and interviews to get selected for it. Many students of our batch got selected for it, and the salary package offered is 1.4-16 LPA.

Infrastructure: I did B.Sc in IT in this college, and it was a 3-year course with 6 semesters. The IT department has 2 classrooms like the first is for lectures, and the second is for practicals. You can also get books through the library card from the library. Practical classrooms have air-conditioners, and a PC is provided for each student.

Faculty: Teachers of our college are very helpful, friendly, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also the best. Students can ask doubts in on-lecture or off-lecture. Exams difficulty differs from student to student. If students attend lectures and study well, then exams are very easy.

Review of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association's Sathaye College.

Placements: This college has one of the best placements from the top recruiting companies such as TATA, Capgemini, Infosys and many others. The lowest package we get in this course is 2.18 Lacs per annum, and the average package is 5 Lacs per annum. Software developer, software tester, basic programmer, database manager, IT engineer, etc., roles are offered.

Infrastructure: The college has separate common rooms for boys and girls. A canteen is available that provides good food. The gymkhana includes carrom, chess, pin pong, etc., games, and outdoor games such as kabaddi, cricket and football are played under the supervision of specific staff. The library has seating arrangements for boys and girls separately, and we can also get books from the library by showing our library cards to the staff. 2 labs are present on the first floor, chemistry and computer labs. Physics lab and another computer lab are available on the second floor.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful to students. Students can tell their issues to the teachers related to lectures, notes, and as such. Practicals are performed for every subject of every semester. PPT presentations are used to teach most of the subjects. Assignments are given. You can refer techmax books for this course. To be honest, the teaching quality is average (depends on the student how he/she understands it). If a teacher has given notes, you should refer them to score good marks in exams.

Other: I took admission in this course (B.Sc. I. T) because after completing this, I can get more career options in the future. You can take admission in any stream, but Maths is mandatory. Every year, an IT fest is organised in this college with other commerce events. The campus has an enough ground for outdoor activities. We can reach here by Vile Parle (East) railway station at a walkable distance of 10 minutes. Many book stores are available nearby.

I am satisfied with always good placements and good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Almost 60% of students were placed from B.Sc in IT course. The highest salary package offered for freshers is 5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA and the average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Wipro, Capgemini, XLNC, etc., companies recruit students, and campus interviews are also conducted every year. The top role offered to the students was a developer. Almost 60% of the students got placed on the college campus.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides free Wi-Fi, but it is restricted for some websites. However, it is useful for normal browsing. Canteen food is not that bad, but according to its rate, it is the best. Quality is also best. The cafeteria is also huge. For sportspersons, there is a gymkhana where they can play indoor games, and also there is a huge ground for outdoor games.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful. The IT department HOD Mr Arvind Khadye sir is always helped students at any time and situation, and he always motivates us. All study materials, including practicals and extracurricular activities, are good and help students mostly in terms of gaining hands-on experience. Apart from theoretical knowledge, it also gives practical, which makes students industry-ready.

Other: I have chosen this course because I want to make my future in the IT field, and I like to do programming. If college faculty members can provide extra activities for programming like festivals and competitions, then students will more excitingly participate and know about basic programs.
