Strong infrastructure and decent placements, but needs more practical exposure.
Placements: I am part of the B.Sc. IT, Batch of 2025, at Thakur College of Science and Commerce. About 65% of students are placed. The highest package is 7.5 LPA, the lowest is 2.5 LPA, and the average is around 3.5-4 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Wipro, and Accenture. Internships are offered through the college and platforms like Internshala.
Infrastructure: Thakur College doesn't have an on-campus hostel, but there are private hostels and PG accommodations nearby. The college canteen serves a variety of snacks and meals at affordable prices. The food is hygienic, and popular items include sandwiches, dosa, and Chinese dishes. The infrastructure is good with modern labs, a library, and Wi-Fi. The IT department has fully equipped computer labs with high-speed internet, updated systems, and necessary software like Java, Python, and MySQL. Wi-Fi is available across the campus, although the speed can vary during peak hours. The library is extensive, with a large collection of academic books, journals, and digital resources. It's a good place for quiet study and research.
Faculty: Faculty is supportive.
Other: More hands-on training and live projects should be included earlier in the course. Placement support could be more structured, especially for students aiming at core product-based companies. College life includes good fests and extracurricular activities.

Complete review of Thakur College of Science and Commerce.
Placements: As far as I remember, a minimum of 40% of students got placements from our university. The lowest package is 1.2 lakhs per annum, and the highest package is 7 LPA. Wipro is one of the decent companies which hire students from our university.
Infrastructure: The college has all the basic necessities like a library, various science labs, computer labs, etc. The college has a good area for pursuing sporting activities. The canteen of the college is hygienic and has amazing food.
Faculty: Teachers are experienced in their respective fields. They have considerable knowledge accordingly. They are also helpful to students and are eager to solve problems. Examinations conducted in the college are challenging, as per the syllabus.

Placements: Placements are great. Companies who visit for placements offer students a great experience. Top companies visit Thakur College of Science and Commerce for placements. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA. The average salary package offered for freshers is 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is great. It has plenty of space. Our college has multiple washrooms. it has plenty of space with multiple washrooms and ample of space with auditorium and multiple computer labs. We have a huge cricket playground with turfs. Our college has a big library which is helpful for students.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified. They know what they are teaching. They are very helpful to every student. They try their best even after college hours. If students have some queries, teachers are available to help them. Exams are quite easy to pass.

Good placements, infrastructure and campus, beautiful college life, and placements.
Placements: Last year, about 90% of students were placed. The highest package offered was 8 lacs, and the lowest was 2 lacs. Mahindra, TCS, etc. are some of the recruiting companies. How to use your computer or do coding are some of the basics that are taught in my course. Also, the course at Thakur is very reputed.
Infrastructure: The college has a beautiful campus. All the facilities are provided: computer rooms are available for students, a library, an auditorium, a good canteen, a playing area, a gym, etc. are all the things there at the college. The washrooms of the college are also clean.
Faculty: The teachers at the college are helpful and clear your doubts. The curriculum here is according to the NEP structure and it is quite relevant for the students. The semester exams, whether they are practical or theoretical, are very tough and the exams are taken very strictly.

Best college to pursue B.Sc. IT in Mumbai!
Placements: Around 40% of the students in our batch got placed in various medium- to top-tier companies with an average package of around 7.5 LPA. The rest of the 60% are students who opted for off-campus placements and students who went ahead with further studies like an MBA or MCA. The lowest package offered was a 2.5 LPA job regarding web support. We had companies like Deloitte, Newfold Digital, and Systenics come and pick students in small numbers; placements are still going on for students who have passed out; and the college is doing a wonderful job. Most of the roles offered were as software development interns, analytics role and web development support.
Infrastructure: The college has a really huge library separating the boys and girls, and we did have every reference book written on the MU syllabus sheet in the library. Wi-Fi is provided in the library and nowhere else. The college has two canteens, which is more than enough and does provide good and tasty meals. The classrooms are really big and air-conditioned, and the computer labs are wonderful too. Although the computers face some problems here and there, they are normal and nothing major. The college has a gymkhana where all the sports activities take place, and the college has the best coaches to guide you around the sport chosen, bringing laurels, trophies and medals time and time again.
Faculty: The one downside I have found is that some of the teachers are bent on completing the portion really quickly and some teachers don't. However, they are more than qualified to answer your doubts after lectures. There are mentors assigned for your final year project, and they guide you really nicely in order to complete the project and the process is smooth. Also, there are times when the timetable is really cramped; you are asked to do a lot of assignments at the same time and do mini projects too, but some may view it as a downside. It is really nice because you learn how to manage your time effectively.
Other: Taarangan is one of the most hyped events in the college and yes, it does live up to it. You have the biggest starts coming to the college to judge various events and we had Kaam Bhaari, Sharib Hashmi too to promote his movie, etc. The only downside of the college is the really high feel. But one thing that can be assured is that the course is worth the money.

Absolutely dissatisfied with everything in this college.
Placements: I actually did a B.Sc. in data science, and only 2–3 students were placed in our batch. The placement cell is the worst, as they bring in companies offering business development or sales roles to technical candidates. They will show that they brought this many companies, but if you ask them about placements, they will keep quiet.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is alright, with a big library, sports complex, etc. Again, the management and maintenance of infrastructure are the worst. There is a lift, but they won't let you use it, and you have to use stars to go to the 7th floor even during exams, which is the worst part.
Faculty: The worst faculty members They do not even know what they are teaching. The faculty who taught us database management systems in the 2nd year was teaching environment studies in the final year. None of the faculty members have any technical knowledge. The curriculum is very backdated and does not help you get jobs.
Other: Try to stay away from this college, as this will waste your three years.

Our college provides good placements and facilities.
Placements: In our college, almost 45% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, L&T, Infosys, Accenture, etc., visit our campus. Only 10% of students get internships at Tata Power. Top roles offered are business developer, system developer, business analytics, etc.
Infrastructure: Labs are not excellent. Wi-Fi is good. Our classrooms are average. Canteens are not so good. The quality of food in the canteen is good. The mess is average. The library is good.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. Some teachers with good knowledge and skillsets will help one learn about the subject from scratch.
Other: I chose this course because it is currently booming in the market and has a lot of scope. Events are excellent. The campus crowd is not good. The connectivity is average. The campus surroundings are good.

This college has a very good infrastructure, and it conducts many cultural fests.
Placements: Most students opted for higher studies. The minimum salary package offered was 2 LPA, and the maximum was 4 LPA. Moreover, there were students who got jobs abroad with salary packages of 10 LPA. Students could get internships through Internshala. In-house internship opportunities were fewer.
Infrastructure: The library was huge, with a lot of books and enough space to accommodate at least 100 students. Classrooms and labs were well equipped with all the latest requirements related to the course. Hostel facilities were also available near the college.
Faculty: Teachers were qualified. They had many years of experience. They were very supportive. The course was designed in such a way that students could be industry-ready.
Other: There were many technical events that gave students good experience. This college was known for the events and cultural festivals that it conducted. Various actors and actresses were invited to the events.
