It is a good college for Karnataka people.
Placements: Many students got placed in this course. Top recruiting companies are JSW, etc. Around 50-60% of students got placed in this course. Top role offered is graduate engineer trainee.
Infrastructure: Facilities are very good. The infrastructure is decent. Laboratories are excellent. Free Wi-Fi facility is available on our campus. We need to get an application for accessing Wi-Fi. Classrooms are average. Our department is very old. This college was established in 1962. Hostel facilities are average. The hostel fee is around Rs 60,000 per year. Canteen is average in this college.
Faculty: Teachers are well-managed. Few of them are Ph.D. scholars. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant to make students ready for the industry. Semester exams are easy. The pass percentage is 75%.
Other: I got into this college through the CET exam. The course fee is Rs.30,000 per year. Events are very good in this college.

Satisfactory for the price .
Placements: I am In my 3rd year now (2024 passing out batch). Placements start by the end of 6th semester itself. Although, the number of core companies that approach our college is too less. The highest package is my college this year is 9 Lacs/year. We do get a lot of placement opportunities in IT company. A senior of mine recently got placed in Brigade (Bangalore). Overall, the placement here isn't too good.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is appealing from outside. We have an Alumni block in our civil department. But the classroom and desks are old. We have two libraries; one in our department (department library) and the other one is a general library. We can borrow 3 books at a time from each library. We have good Wi-Fi in college and hostel. And there is a separate building for sports and games, which has swimming pool, open ground, gym and more. Girls hostel is located 20-30 meters away from college. Our hostel doesn't serve good food. We are paying around 55k for hostel every year (around 70k for boys hostel). They serve us non veg only on sunday. There is no medical facility in our college.
Faculty: Faculty members are really friendly. The bad part is, some of them are old and they have no idea about advanced technology. New faculty members are helpful and most of them come prepared to teach. They teach us 'Technical skills' in 5th and 6th semester, which is quite helpful for placement in core companies. We have placement classes from 1st year. They teach us Verbal ability, Quantitative Aptitude soft skills and other things that would help us in cracking placement exams. Semester exams are very difficult. They maintain strict supervision throughout the exam. Passing marks for a subject out of 100 is 35. It is not that difficult to pass semester end exams; scoring is the hard part of all.
Other: Every once in a year or two, they celebrate a huge college fest called 'PESCO' and we can actively participate in all the events of fest. Other than that, each department celebrates Fresher's day and graduation day. Ambience of college is refreshing. It has two parks, one canteen and a huge play ground. It has two auditoriums. We can have lunch or study in the park.

About PES Mandya consideration.
Placements: It does not have so good placements, companies come but at the end of the day, they can give maximum of 15 LPA - 20 LPA that too without recession period. If you want good placement from any college, you can go to Bangalore colleges at where companies come a lot so you can get opportunities a lot, not in Mandya. But here the fee is quite less compared to other colleges in Bangalore, if you are opting for something like civil, you can come over here.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is old but decent. It has projectors in classroom, and now new incubation center has opened where all PCs are iOS, and it comes with ACs in lab which work, if you sit directly in front of it. Hostel is okay but if you want North Indian food, sorry you must not expect that. We have sambhar all day in dinner even my South Indian friends do not like that.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. If you have doubts or anything they will clear them. Curriculum is a bit outdated for every course you opt for. Here, you can get CGPA above 8 if you studied in the last 6 hours before the exams so that's it. Paper is generally easy if you have trained for JEE and all.
Other: It's okay if you want a chill life, not so much strict about attendance.

Our college provides good placement opportunities.
Placements: Almost 70% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered for our course is 9 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered for our course is 3 LPA. The top recruiting company is JSW.
Infrastructure: Our college provides a very good Wi-Fi facility for all students and faculty members. We can use Wi-Fi without paying extra fees. Labs and classrooms are good. All the necessary books for our course are available in our library.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, very supportive, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good compared to other department teachers. They teach us more practical than theory. It is an autonomous college.

Good in placements. Faculty could have been better.
Placements: From 6th sem onwards, placement starts in the college. Many known companies visit every year such as TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Mercedes Benz, Okla, and many more. The highest package offered is 14 LPA and the average package was 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: Good hosted facilities available and food provided in mess and canteen is quite good. Wi-Fi is available in every department. VSVM Boys hostel (off campus) is situated 1km away from the campus and very close to central bus stand.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Quality of teaching is satisfactory. And semester end exams are not that difficult. Students have to secure a minimum of 45% of marks and this matters a lot in the progress of each and every student. 50% in CIE and 40 percent in SEE get added up together.
Other: I chose this course because of placements and government jobs. It is quite helpful for competitive exams. Teachers are so supportive in that context.
