Phonics University offers BTech in four specialisations which is for four years. Candidates looking for admission to BTech must have to appear for JEE Mains/ JEE Advanced/ PUET entrance exams accepted by the university. Additionally, candidates must also fill out the basic eligibility criteria i.e., must pass Class 10 and Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with 50-60% aggregate. Phonics University BTech is a four-year course offered at the UG level. Admission to this course is completely entrance-based. Candidates are required to pass Class 10 and Class 12 with 50- 60% aggregate from a recognised board. Further, candidates are required to appear in one entrance exam accepted by the university including JEE Mains/ JEE Advanced/ PUET for admission.

The BTech Mechanical Engineering syllabus is not the same across all colleges, as every college committee sets a particular coursework pattern at the start of every academic year to be followed for the respective batch. The syllabus includes some core subjects, interesting electives, and lab work that gives detailed knowledge to the students about the workings of the field.
