Review of Pillai College of Engineering.
Placements: Pillai College of Engineering has an active and steadily improving placement cell. The college conducts regular training sessions on aptitude, coding, and soft skills. Top recruiters include TCS, Capgemini, LTI, Accenture, Cognizant, and Tech Mahindra. Several mid-scale tech companies and startups also visit during the placement season. Most placements are IT-oriented, even for non-IT branches like mechanical or EXTC. The average package ranges from 3.5-5 LPA. High performers secure packages of 6-10 LPA with roles from better companies. A few exceptional students get 12 LPA+ from product-based companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure at Pillai College of Engineering is modern and student-friendly. Classrooms are spacious, and well-ventilated. They are equipped with digital projectors. There are labs for all branches, especially IT, CSE, and ENTC. These are updated with good systems. ENTC labs have proper equipment for electronics, embedded, and communication subjects. There is a good balance between academics and co-curricular activities.
Placements: Around 90% of eligible candidates were placed in the 2024-25 academic session. The highest package is 32 LPA, and the average package is around 6-7 LPA. TCS, and Infosys, among many others, are the top recruiters. Around 85% of eligible candidates received internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in all the labs, and the speed is quite good. The classrooms are spacious with enough ventilation. The libraries have a rich collection of academic books that students can borrow with ease, and the overdue are pocket-friendly. The libraries are pleasant to sit in due to the academic atmosphere of being in the presence of so many books.
Faculty: The faculty here is extremely knowledgeable, with many of them being Ph.D. holders. The professors give their all to teach students and are open to discussion outside of lectures too. The exams are not that difficult, given that, you study every day. They cover every aspect of the syllabus and include concept-intensive questions.
Other: I chose this course due to having an interest in Information Technology. The best thing about my course is probably the practical aspect of it. Pillai College of Engineering has the biggest fest (Alegria) in Navi Mumbai, with many other events being held regularly. The crowd here is very diverse. College has good connectivity, with other places be it by local train, bus, rickshaw, or other means of roadways.

Good academics and infrastructure .
Placements: Placements scenario is good for Computer Engineering. Good number of companies visit for campus placements and a good number of students get placed. This year, 18 lacs per annum was the highest package. Average 6 -7 lacs CTC is offered for IT related fields. You can choose Pillai as it is a good college.
Infrastructure: Pillai has an excellent infrastructure compared to the other colleges in Navi Mumbai. Large and spacious classrooms, AC labs, huge libraries with large number of book available, canteen, corridors, etc. are provided by the college. Large playgrounds are available for the students. College provides Wi-Fi connection in your laptops.
Faculty: As Pillai is an autonomous college, the curriculum is different from MU college and is better as well. It is more focused on core subjects like C+ programming and Java from the 1st year itself. Faculty members here are also good, experienced and will qualified. Exams are organized well.
Other: Other than academics, Pillai has Rangmanch for those who are interested in acting and drama. The college has a sports team and a gym for fitness enthusiasts. Alegria is Pillai's biggest annual fest which is very interesting and attracts students.

Nice faculty, placements are good.
Placements: Placement is good for our college. The highest CTC offered for our batch is 7.5 from Capgemini and the role offered is that of analyst. The average was 5.5, and the lowest was 3.5. Overall, everything is good. Top recruiting companies were Capgemini, TCS, Reliance Jio, and many more. 80% students were placed.
Infrastructure: I don't know about the hostel because I have never lived there. The infrastructure of our college is awesome. Everything is provided properly like Wi-Fi and labs. Classrooms are okay. The library is good in our college and the canteen food is good. Sports and games are also good.
Faculty: There are qualified and knowledgeable teachers. They are helpful if you ask any doubts related to your subjects. The teaching quality is also good of our college. The passing percentage of our college is 70-80% and semester exams are not difficult.

Review of Pillais College.
Placements: Around 70% of students are placed. The highest salary package received was 14 LPA and the lowest salary package was 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, and Ugam. Around 65% got internships in TCS and L&T. Top roles offered are Software Analyst, Data Analyst, Assistant Software engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: All classrooms and labs have a good infrastructure with updated software. Our library has got all the latest books related to our course and all the necessary study material like previous year question papers, etc. We also have an e-library where students can look into their pending library-issued book fees and even into the available books.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified with a doctorate. They are always helpful with the studies. The course curriculum is relevant and we can understand the flow. It helps us in making the students industry-ready. Exams level is moderate so that all types of the students prepare and be confident before giving the exams.
Other: I was always interested in coding since 11th grade. The best thing about our course is practical knowledge that helps to add more interest in coding. The projects that we make in groups help us to be more interactive with each other and also the teachers. It is not only a theory-based course but we also gain practical knowledge.
