Placements: Nearly 2 to 3 percent, but it depends on how many students join the training and placement. TCL, Infosys, Saint Gobain, solar companies are recruiting. Nearly 6 LPA to 10 LPA are offered by those companies. GATE-related advice, even coaching from any faculty, is provided.
Infrastructure: We have India's first and the largest chemical engineering lab in our department. The library is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. for student availability. I am a day scholar, but I went to meet my friends in the hostel. Without security or warden permission, we can't enter the hostel. I also had food from the hostel canteen. Good food is provided by them according to the menu. No worries about food, Wi-Fi, rooms, or students. Student activities are monitored by wardens. Separate hostels for boys and girls. We have two canteens outside the hostel. Many sports and festivals are conducted. The famous festival from our college is the Rejour festival.
Faculty: In our department, faculty members from IIT, IISc, and good knowledge professors are present. We never had guilt about asking anything we needed. Our professors are like our friends and parents. They also teach discipline along with studies. Proper haircut for boys and a presentable dress code are strictly followed.
Other: The best thing is we have less competition, less syllabus, fewer labs, and less stress too. I enjoy my life and my course at PEC. Our professors conduct 25 talks (lectures from different IIT or industrial professors for our knowledge). Good career guidance is given by our faculty members.

Our college provides good placements.
Placements: Every year, more than 90% of students get placed in many companies like Tata, Zoho, MRF, Qualcomm, etc. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our department has very good labs. We have a common library for all departments. All hostels are average. They provide great food. We have a huge playground.
Faculty: Our faculty members are well-knowledgeable. They help us in every possible way. Exams are a bit difficult. The pass percentage is 50%. We have to maintain 75% attendance to attempt exams. We can get admission to this college through CENTAC. It is handled by the government of Puducherry. Our college is good in terms of sports. Our course plays a vital role in biotechnology, process control, pharmacies, thermodynamics, etc.
Other: Our college conducts many festivals every year. It has many clubs for cultural, literary, electrical, etc.

The infrastructure is average, and faculty are good, but the placements are disappointing.
Placements: Nearly 50% of students in the chemical department got placed in 2022. Most of the students got placed in IT companies. Top recruiters are TCS, Cognizant, Kantar, Kaar Technologies, Neilson IQ, etc. Internships are not provided in the college, and we have to explore outside the campus for internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good. But the classrooms are spacious, and labs are available in every department. Wi-Fi is available in the college, but the network connection is poor. Airtel, Jio, etc., won't work here. BSNL is the only better option. Hostel rooms are average, and the mess is not up to the mark. Taste is not acceptable. Games and sports are conducted every year.
Faculty: All the faculty members have at least 10 years of experience, and all are Ph.D. holders. They are well-educated. Most of them are from top educational institutions. The curriculum is good and helps students learn more about their core subjects. Exams conducted here will test the capacity of students and bring out the reality of students.
Other: We have scholarship opportunities. Extracurricular activities are conducted throughout the course.

Extracurricular Activities are upto the mark. Infrastructure is average. Average placement history.
Placements: Nearly 40-45% of students got placed in companies. There were fewer companies which offer jobs relating to the core. The highest package offered in chemical departments is 7LPA, and the average package is nearly 3-4LPA only, which is too disappointing. Recruiting companies like TCS, Zoho, and MBit will come for recruitment.
Infrastructure: Network signal is not available on the college premises. This is extremely irritating, especially when we need it for class. Wi-Fi is available, but only in small radius around the router. Classrooms are spacious, which is a plus. However, coming to the hostel, we cannot expect much. The food is not great and it is difficult to sustain on what they provide. Sports and games are the only satisfying things here. However, the only problem is that some departments do not have proper kits for some sports and games, like cricket and football.
Faculty: There are average to poor faculty for all subjects except momentum transfer and mass transfer. I was most disappointed with thermodynamics. Almost all students passed in the previous year's batch (2022).
Other: Events and fest were conducted more and more where we can reduce our stress levels. Many events like Cybrus, Rejoiur, hubs were conducted every year.

I am not satisfied with all teaching faculty members in our college.
Placements: Placements in our college are average. Some good companies visit our college to hire students from chemical engineering course. The good and average percentage of the students from our course get placed every year at the college.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure. Our college also provides Wi-Fi facility. The mess facility is very good, and they maintain hygiene in a very good manner. Our college also organises good games. The canteen facility is also available in the college.
Faculty: The teaching staff members in our college are good. Some teachers are very good, but some teachers are not good at teaching. They are good and very talented. They also make students industry-ready. The course curriculum is relevant.

Yes, maybe dissatisfied because of good placements.
Placements: No placements for my department.
No company or organisation coming for placements and offering some job for my department's student. We are having more knowledge but don't have any value for that. Some of our seniors got jobs through off campus with a salary package of 15,000 rupees per month.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is quite appreciable. But hostel is in very poor condition. We are paying 60,000 rs per annum for hostel. Hostel room just look like a old palace hunted by ghost. And the walls were scribbled. Last painted in 2008. no availability of CCTV camera system.
Faculty: Course curriculum more useful and knowledgeable, well trained staff except some staff those who are acting like they are well trained person and also some pshyco's are here. best teaching methods (both board and projector presentation) are used. Teachers clear our doubts every time. That make me to concentrate on my studies and also in extra curricular activities.
Other: No words to describe, everything is perfect. It's only for the college and not for hostel.

It is a nice place to build our career.
Placements: Placements are quite good. My seniors are getting placed in Wabag, Chennai. Some other good companies also hire students. Packages offered are quite good for those who have nice company. For internships, faculty members will give permission to some of the popular institutes and industries.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good. The network connection is quite poor, to be honest. We have library facilities. Our college conducts tournaments every year for all sports. Inter-college matches are available for all sports. The canteen food is below average.
Faculty: Some faculty members are really good, and some of them are not. Semester exams are quite moderate. The course curriculum makes us know about what we have to study in this course within 4 years and gives us a clear idea to go and build our future in the respective fields.

It's a decent university.
Placements: The placements are very average. On average, only 4-5 students get placed. The package for the placed students is pretty decent. It's mainly up to the students. Their level of understanding of the course and how up-to-date they are plays a major role.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent. Some lab equipment needs to be upgraded. The classrooms are spacious and neat. There is a dispensary within the campus grounds with a nurse and a doctor always on call during working hours. The library has a good collection of books that can be used for reference. The sports and games area is also decent.
Faculty: The faculty members are the best. They are all very well qualified and have a deep understanding of their respective subjects of expertise. The curriculum is good, but it doesn't compare to the NEP curriculum. It, however, does do the job and makes the student industry-ready as long as the student puts in the effort to understand the subjects in the course. The semester exam questions feel fair enough.
